1 Then Joshua sent for the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh,
1 Alors Josué appela les Rubénites, les Gadites et la demi-tribu de Manassé.
1 Chuir Iósua fios ar na Reúbaenaigh, ar na Gádaigh agus ar leath-threibh Mhanaise.
1 Entonces Josué llamó á los Rubenitas y á los Gaditas, y á la media tribu de Manasés,
1 Da rief Josua die Rubeniter und Gaditer und den halben Stamm Manasse
2 And said to them, You have kept all the orders of Moses, the Lord's servant, and have done everything I gave you orders to do:
2 Il leur dit: Vous avez observé tout ce que vous a prescrit Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, et vous avez obéi à ma voix dans tout ce que je vous ai ordonné.
2 Dúirt sé leo: “Tá gach ní a d'ordaigh Maois, óglach an Tiarna, daoibh curtha i gcrích agaibh; agus gach aon ordú a thug mise daoibh, thug sibh cluas do mo ghlór maidir leo.
2 Y díjoles: Vosotros habéis guardado todo lo que Moisés siervo de Jehová os mandó, y habéis obedecido á mi voz en todo lo que os he mandado.
2 und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr habt alles gehalten, was euch Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, geboten hat, und gehorcht meiner Stimme in allem, was ich euch geboten habe.
3 You have now been with your brothers for a long time; till this day you have been doing the orders of the Lord your God.
3 Vous n'avez point abandonné vos frères, depuis un long espace de temps jusqu'à ce jour; et vous avez gardé les ordres, les commandements de l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
3 Níor thréig sibh bhur mbráithre le linn an fheachtais fhada seo, go dtí an lá seo féin, ach chomhlíon sibh go beacht orduithe an Tiarna, bhur nDia.
3 No habéis dejado á vuestros hermanos en estos muchos días hasta hoy, antes habéis guardado la observancia de los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios.
3 Ihr habt eure Brüder nicht verlassen eine lange Zeit her bis auf diesen Tag und habt gehalten an dem Gebot des HERRN, eures Gottes.
4 And now the Lord your God has given your brothers rest, as he said: so now you may go back to your tents, to the land of your heritage, which Moses, the Lord's servant, gave to you on the other side of Jordan.
4 Maintenant que l'Éternel, votre Dieu, a accordé du repos à vos frères, comme il le leur avait dit, retournez et allez vers vos tentes, dans le pays qui vous appartient, et que Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, vous a donné de l'autre côté du Jourdain.
4 Tá suaimhneas tugtha ag an Tiarna, bhur nDia, do bhur mbráithre mar a gheall sé dóibh. Filligí dá bhrí sin agus ar ais abhaile libh mar a bhfuil bhur dtailte, na tailte a thug Maois, óglach an Tiarna, mar shealúchas daoibh lastall den Iordáin.
4 Ahora pues que Jehová vuestro Dios ha dado reposo á vuestros hermanos, como se lo había prometido, volved, y tornad á vuestras tiendas, á la tierra de vuestras posesiones, que Moisés siervo de Jehová os dió de la otra parte del Jordán.
4 Weil nun der HERR, euer Gott, hat eure Brüder zur Ruhe gebracht, wie er ihnen geredet hat, so wendet euch nun und ziehet hin in eure Hütten im Lande eures Erbes, das euch Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, gegeben hat jenseit des Jordans.
5 Only take great care to do the orders and the law which Moses, the Lord's servant, gave you; to have love for the Lord your God and to go in all his ways; and to keep his laws and to be true to him and to be his servants with all your heart and with all your soul.
5 Ayez soin seulement d'observer et de mettre en pratique les ordonnances et les lois que vous a prescrites Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel: aimez l'Éternel, votre Dieu, marchez dans toutes ses voies, gardez ses commandements, attachez-vous à lui, et servez-le de tout votre coeur et de toute votre âme.
5 Féachaigí chuige le barr cúraim go gcomhlíonfaidh sibh na haitheanta agus an dlí a thug Maois, óglach an Tiarna, daoibh; bíodh grá agaibh don Tiarna, bhur nDia, leanaigí ar a chosáin i gcónaí, comhlíonaigí a aitheanta, bígí dílis dó agus déanaigí seirbhís dó ó chroí go hiomlán agus ó anam go hiomlán.”
5 Solamente que con diligencia cuidéis de poner por obra el mandamiento y la ley, que Moisés siervo de Jehová os intimó: que améis á Jehová vuestro Dios, y andéis en todos sus caminos; que guardéis sus mandamientos, y os alleguéis á él, y le sirváis de todo vuestro corazón y de toda vuestra alma.
5 Haltet aber nur an mit Fleiß, daß ihr tut nach dem Gebot und Gesetz, das euch Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, geboten hat, daß ihr den HERRN, euren Gott, liebt und wandelt auf allen seinen Wegen und seine Gebote haltet und ihm anhanget und ihm dient von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele.
6 Then Joshua gave them his blessing and sent them away: and they went back to their tents.
6 Et Josué les bénit et les renvoya, et ils s'en allèrent vers leurs tentes.
6 Chuir Iósua a bheannacht orthu agus sheol uaidh iad agus d'imíodar leo abhaile.
6 Y bendiciéndolos Josué, los envió: y fuéronse á sus tiendas.
6 Also segnete sie Josua und ließ sie gehen; und sie gingen zu ihren Hütten.
7 Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh, Moses had given a heritage in Bashan; but to the other half, Joshua gave a heritage among their brothers on the west side of Jordan. Now when Joshua sent them away to their tents, he gave them his blessing,
7 Moïse avait donné à une moitié de la tribu de Manassé un héritage en Basan, et Josué donna à l'autre moitié un héritage auprès de ses frères en deçà du Jourdain, à l'occident. Lorsque Josué les renvoya vers leurs tentes, il les bénit,
7 Bhí tailte i mBáiseán tugtha ag Maois do leath-threibh Mhanaise; don leath eile thug Iósua tailte eile i measc a mbráithre ar bhruach thiar na Iordáine. Nuair a bhí Iósua á seoladh abhaile, chuir sé a bheannacht orthu
7 También á la media tribu de Manasés había dado Moisés posesión en Basán; mas á la otra media dió Josué heredad entre sus hermanos de estotra parte del Jordán al occidente: y también á éstos envió Josué á sus tiendas, después de haberlos bendecido.
7 Dem halben Stamm Manasse hatte Mose gegeben in Basan; der andern Hälfte gab Josua unter ihren Brüdern diesseit des Jordans gegen Abend. Und da er sie gesegnet hatte,
8 And said to them, Go back with much wealth to your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver and gold and brass and iron, and with a very great store of clothing; give your brothers a part of the goods taken in the war.
8 et leur dit: Vous retournerez à vos tentes avec de grandes richesses, avec des troupeaux fort nombreux, et avec une quantité considérable d'argent, d'or, d'airain, de fer, et de vêtements. Partagez avec vos frères le butin de vos ennemis.
8 agus dúirt leo: “Tá sibh ag filleadh abhaile lena lán maoine, le mórchuid eallaigh, le hairgead agus ór, le cré-umha agus iarann agus le flúirse éidí. Déanaigí creach seo bhur naimhde a roinnt ar bhur mbráithre chomh maith.”
8 Y hablóles, diciendo: Volveos á vuestras tiendas con grandes riquezas, y con grande copia de ganado, con plata, y con oro, y metal, y muchos vestidos: partid con vuestros hermanos el despojo de vuestros enemigos.
8 sprach er zu ihnen: Ihr kommt wieder heim mit großem Gut zu euren Hütten, mit sehr viel Vieh, Silber, Gold, Erz, Eisen und Kleidern; so teilt nun den Raub eurer Feinde mit euren Brüdern.
9 So Reuben and Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh went back, parting from the children of Israel at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, to the land of their heritage which had been given to them by the Lord's order to Moses.
9 Les fils de Ruben, les fils de Gad, et la demi-tribu de Manassé, s'en retournèrent, après avoir quitté les enfants d'Israël à Silo, dans le pays de Canaan, pour aller dans le pays de Galaad, qui était leur propriété et où ils s'étaient établis comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné par Moïse.
9 D'imigh na Reúbaenaigh, na Gádaigh, agus leaththreibh Mhanaise abhaile arís. D'fhág siad clann Iosrael i Sileo i dtír Chanán, agus d'fhill ar ais ar dhúiche Ghileád, na tailte a bhain leo, mar ar chuir siad fúthu de réir mar a d'ordaigh an Tiarna dóibh ó bhéal Mhaois.
9 Y los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, se tornaron, y partiéronse de los hijos de Israel, de Silo, que está en la tierra de Canaán, para ir á la tierra de Galaad, á la tierra de sus posesiones, de la cual eran poseedores, según palabra de Jehová por mano de Moisés.
9 Also kehrten um die Rubeniter, Gaditer und der halbe Stamm Manasse und gingen von den Kindern Israel aus Silo, das im Lande Kanaan liegt, daß sie ins Land Gilead zögen zum Lande ihres Erbes, das sie erbten nach Befehl des HERRN durch Mose.
10 Now when they came to the country by Jordan in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh put up there, by Jordan, a great altar, seen from far.
10 Quand ils furent arrivés aux districts du Jourdain qui appartiennent au pays de Canaan, les fils de Ruben, les fils de Gad et la demi-tribu de Manassé, y bâtirent un autel sur le Jourdain, un autel dont la grandeur frappait les regards.
10 Nuair a shroich siad na ciorcail chloch ag an Iordáin i gcríocha na gCanánach, thóg na Reúbaenaigh, na Gádaigh agus leath- threibh Mhanaise altóir ag an Iordáin i gcríocha na gCanánach, altóir mhór thaibhseach.
10 Y llegando á los términos del Jordán, que está en la tierra de Canaán, los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, edificaron allí un altar junto al Jordán, un altar de grande apariencia.
10 Und da sie kamen in die Kreise am Jordan, die im Lande Kanaan liegen, bauten die Rubeniter, Gaditer und der halbe Stamm Manasse daselbst am Jordan einen großen, schönen Altar.
11 And news came to the children of Israel, See, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have put up an altar opposite the land of Canaan, in the country by Jordan on the side which is Israel's.
11 Les enfants d'Israël apprirent que l'on disait: Voici, les fils de Ruben, les fils de Gad et la demi-tribu de Manassé, ont bâti un autel en face du pays de Canaan, dans les districts du Jourdain, du côté des enfants d'Israël.
11 Fuair na hIosraelaigh gaoth an fhocail faoi seo: “Féach,” a deirtí, “thóg na Reúbaenaigh, na Gádaigh agus leath-threibh Mhanaise altóir ar theorainn thír Chanán, in aice na gciorcal cloch ag an Iordáin, ar thaobh thailte na nIosraelach.”
11 Y los hijos de Israel oyeron decir como los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, habían edificado un altar delante de la tierra de Canaán, en los términos del Jordán, al paso de los hijos de Israel:
11 Da aber die Kinder Israel hörten sagen: Siehe, die Kinder Ruben, die Kinder Gad und der halbe Stamm Manasse haben einen Altar gebaut gegenüber dem Land Kanaan, in den Kreisen am Jordan, diesseit der Kinder Israel,
12 Then all the meeting of the children of Israel, hearing this, came together at Shiloh to go up against them to war.
12 Lorsque les enfants d'Israël eurent appris cela, toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël se réunit à Silo, pour monter contre eux et leur faire la guerre.
12 Arna chlos sin dóibh, thionól pobal Iosrael go léir ag Sileo le fonn cogadh a chur orthu.
12 Lo cual como los hijos de Israel oyeron, juntóse toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel en Silo, para subir á pelear contra ellos.
12 da versammelten sie sich mit der ganzen Gemeinde zu Silo, daß sie wider sie hinaufzögen mit einem Heer.
13 And the children of Israel sent Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, to the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh, to the land of Gilead,
13 Les enfants d'Israël envoyèrent auprès des fils de Ruben, des fils de Gad et de la demi-tribu de Manassé, au pays de Galaad, Phinées, fils du sacrificateur Éléazar,
13 Sheol clann Iosrael chun na Reúbaenach, na nGádach, agus leath-threibh Mhanaise i dtír Ghileád, Píneachás sagart, mac Eileázár,
13 Y enviaron los hijos de Israel á los hijos de Rubén y á los hijos de Gad y á la media tribu de Manasés en la tierra de Galaad, á Phinees hijo de Eleazar sacerdote,
13 Und sandten zu ihnen ins Land Gilead Pinehas, den Sohn Eleasars, des Priesters,
14 And with him they sent ten chiefs, one for every tribe of the children of Israel, every one of them the head of his house among the families of Israel.
14 et dix princes avec lui, un prince par maison paternelle pour chacune des tribus d'Israël; tous étaient chefs de maison paternelle parmi les milliers d'Israël.
14 agus, mar aon leis, deichniúr ceannairí, ceannaire agus ceann fine as gach treibh in Iosrael; ba cheann fine ar chlanna Iosrael gach duine díobh.
14 Y á diez príncipes con él; un príncipe de cada casa paterna de todas las tribus de Israel, cada uno de los cuales era cabeza de familia de sus padres en la multitud de Israel.
14 und mit ihm zehn oberste Fürsten unter ihren Vaterhäusern, aus jeglichem Stamm Israels einen.
15 And they came to the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh, to the land of Gilead, and said to them,
15 Ils se rendirent auprès des fils de Ruben, des fils de Gad et de la demi-tribu de Manassé, au pays de Galaad, et ils leur adressèrent la parole, en disant:
15 Nuair a tháinig siad chun na Reúbaenach, na nGádach, agus leaththreibh Mhanaise i dtír Ghileád, is é a dúirt siad seo leo:
15 Los cuales vinieron á los hijos de Rubén y á los hijos de Gad, y á la media tribu de Manasés, en la tierra de Galaad; y habláronles, diciendo:
15 Und da sie zu ihnen kamen ins Land Gilead, redeten sie mit ihnen und sprachen:
16 This is what all the meeting of the people of the Lord has said, What is this wrong which you have done against the God of Israel, turning back this day from the Lord and building an altar for yourselves, and being false to the Lord?
16 Ainsi parle toute l'assemblée de l'Éternel: Que signifie cette infidélité que vous avez commise envers le Dieu d'Israël, et pourquoi vous détournez-vous maintenant de l'Éternel, en vous bâtissant un autel pour vous révolter aujourd'hui contre l'Éternel?
16 “Mar seo a deir comhthionól uile an Tiarna libh: ‘Cén chealg í seo a rinne sibh in aghaidh Dia Iosrael? Cad ab áil libh ag casadh i leataobh ón Tiarna inniu, ag tógáil altóra agus ag déanamh ceannairce inniu in aghaidh an Tiarna?
16 Toda la congregación de Jehová dice así: ¿Qué transgresión es ésta con que prevaricáis contra el Dios de Israel, volviéndoos hoy de seguir á Jehová, edificándoos altar para ser hoy rebeldes contra Jehová?
16 So läßt euch sagen die ganze Gemeinde des HERRN: Wie versündigt ihr euch also an dem Gott Israels, daß ihr euch heute kehrt von dem HERRN damit, daß ihr euch einen Altar baut, daß ihr abfallt von dem HERRN?
17 Was not the sin of Baal-peor great enough, from which we are not clear even to this day, though punishment came on the people of the Lord,
17 Regardons-nous comme peu de chose le crime de Peor, dont nous n'avons pas jusqu'à présent enlevé la tache de dessus nous, malgré la plaie qu'il attira sur l'assemblée de l'Éternel?
17 Nár leor an peaca ag Peór, peaca nach bhfuil glanta ar fad dínn fós d'ainneoin na plá a tháinig dá bharr ar chomhthionól an Tiarna go léir?
17 ¿Nos ha sido poco la maldad de Peor, de la que no estamos aún limpios hasta este día, por la cual fué la mortandad en la congregación de Jehová?
17 Ist's uns zu wenig an der Missetat über dem Peor, von welcher wir noch auf diesen Tag nicht gereinigt sind und kam eine Plage unter die Gemeinde des HERRN?
18 That now you are turned back from the Lord? and, because you are false to him today, tomorrow his wrath will be let loose on all the people of Israel.
18 Et vous vous détournez aujourd'hui de l'Éternel! Si vous vous révoltez aujourd'hui contre l'Éternel, demain il s'irritera contre toute l'assemblée d'Israël.
18 De bhrí gur chas sibh i leataobh ón Tiarna a leanúint inniu, agus ceannairc a dhéanamh inniu in aghaidh an Tiarna, beidh seisean i bhfearg le comhthionól Iosrael go léir amárach.
18 Y vosotros os volvéis hoy de seguir á Jehová; mas será que vosotros os rebelaréis hoy contra Jehová, y mañana se airará él contra toda la congregación de Israel.
18 Und ihr wendet euch heute von dem HERRN weg und seid heute abtrünnig geworden von dem HERRN, auf daß er heute oder morgen über die ganze Gemeinde Israel erzürne.
19 But if the land you now have is unclean, come over into the Lord's land where his House is, and take up your heritage among us: but do not be false to the Lord and to us by building yourselves an altar in addition to the altar of the Lord our God.
19 Si vous tenez pour impur le pays qui est votre propriété, passez dans le pays qui est la propriété de l'Éternel, où est fixée la demeure de l'Éternel, et établissez-vous au milieu de nous; mais ne vous révoltez pas contre l'Éternel et ne vous séparez pas de nous, en vous bâtissant un autel, outre l'autel de l'Éternel, notre Dieu.
19 An amhlaidh go bhfuil bhur bhfearann truaillithe? Tagaigí anall, más ea, go fearann an Tiarna mar a bhfuil Both an Tiarna ina seasamh anois, agus faighigí oidhreacht daoibh féin inár measc; ach ná déanaigí ceannairc in aghaidh an Tiarna, agus ná déanaigí lucht ceannairce dínne chomh maith, le haltóir a thógáil daoibh féin seachas altóir an Tiarna ár nDia.
19 Que si os parece que la tierra de vuestra posesión es inmunda, pasaos á la tierra de la posesión de Jehová, en la cual está el tabernáculo de Jehová, y tomad posesión entre nosotros; pero no os rebeléis contra Jehová, ni os rebeléis contra nosotros, edificándoos altar á más del altar de Jehová nuestro Dios.
19 Dünkt euch das Land eures Erbes unrein, so kommt herüber in das Land, das der HERR hat, da die Wohnung des HERRN steht, und macht euch ansässig unter uns; und werdet nicht abtrünnig von dem Herrn und von uns, daß ihr euch einen Altar baut außer dem Altar des HERRN, unsers Gottes.
20 Did not Achan, the son of Zerah, do wrong about the cursed thing, causing wrath to come on all the people of Israel? And not on him only came the punishment of death.
20 Acan, fils de Zérach, ne commit-il pas une infidélité au sujet des choses dévouées par interdit, et la colère de l'Éternel ne s'enflamma-t-elle pas contre toute l'assemblée d'Israël? Il ne fut pas le seul qui périt à cause de son crime.
20 Nuair a rinne Ácán mac Zearach feall ar iontaoibh maidir leis an mbang, nár tháinig fearg an Tiarna ar chomhthionól Iosrael go léir? Ní hé féin amháin a scriosadh de bharr a pheaca.’ ”
20 ¿No cometió Achân, hijo de Zera, prevaricación en el anatema, y vino ira sobre toda la congregación de Israel? y aquel hombre no pereció solo en su iniquidad.
20 Versündigte sich nicht Achan, der Sohn Serahs, am Verbannten? und der Zorn kam über die ganze Gemeinde Israel, und er ging nicht allein unter über seiner Missetat.
21 Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh said in answer to the heads of the families of Israel,
21 Les fils de Ruben, les fils de Gad et la demi-tribu de Manassé, répondirent ainsi aux chefs des milliers d'Israël:
21 Ansin mar fhreagra ar chinn finí Iosrael dúirt na Reúbaenaigh, na Gádaigh agus leath-threibh Mhanaise:
21 Entonces los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, respondieron y dijeron á los principales de la multitud de Israel:
21 Da antworteten die Kinder Ruben und die Kinder Gad und der halbe Stamm Manasse und sagten zu den Häuptern über die Tausende Israels:
22 God, even God the Lord, God, even God the Lord, he sees, and Israel will see--if it is in pride or in sin against the Lord,
22 Dieu, Dieu, l'Éternel, Dieu, Dieu, l'Éternel le sait, et Israël le saura! Si c'est par rébellion et par infidélité envers l'Éternel, ne viens point à notre aide en ce jour!
22 “Dia na ndéithe, an Tiarna, Dia na ndéithe, is maith atá a fhios ag an Tiarna, agus bíodh a fhios ag Iosrael chomh maith: má rinneamar ceannairc nó feall in aghaidh an Tiarna, ná déanadh sé anacal orainn inniu;
22 El Dios de los dioses, Jehová, el Dios de los dioses, Jehová, él sabe, y sabrá Israel: si por rebelión ó por prevaricación contra Jehová (no nos salves hoy,)
22 Der starke Gott, der HERR, weiß es; so wisse es Israel auch: fallen wir ab oder sündigen wider den HERRN, so helfe er uns heute nicht!
23 That we have made ourselves an altar, being false to the Lord, keep us not safe from death this day; and if for the purpose of offering burned offerings on it and meal offerings, or peace-offerings, let the Lord himself send punishment for it;
23 Si nous nous sommes bâti un autel pour nous détourner de l'Éternel, si c'est pour y présenter des holocaustes et des offrandes, et si c'est pour y faire des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, que l'Éternel en demande compte!
23 nó má thógamar altóir chun casadh i leataobh agus gan an Tiarna a leanúint, agus íobairtí uileloiscthe agus abhlanna agus íobairtí comaoineach a ofráil uirthi, go ndéana an Tiarna féin é a agairt orainn!
23 Nos hemos edificado altar para tornarnos de en pos de Jehová, ó para sacrificar holocausto ó presente, ó para hacer sobre él sacrificios pacíficos, el mismo Jehová nos lo demande.
23 Und so wir darum den Altar gebaut haben, daß wir uns von dem HERRN wenden wollten, Brandopfer und Speisopfer darauf opfern oder Dankopfer darauf tun, so fordere es der HERR.
24 And if we have not, in fact, done this designedly and with purpose, having in our minds the fear that in time to come your children might say to our children, What have you to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?
24 C'est bien plutôt par une sorte d'inquiétude que nous avons fait cela, en pensant que vos fils diraient un jour à nos fils: Qu'y a-t-il de commun entre vous et l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël?
24 Ach le fírinne, rinneamar é le heagla go ndéarfadh bhur gclannsa lá éigin lenár gclannna: ‘Cén bhaint atá agaibhse leis an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael?
24 Asimismo, si no lo hicimos por temor de esto, diciendo: Mañana vuestros hijos dirán á nuestros hijos: ¿Qué tenéis vosotros con Jehová el Dios de Israel?;
24 Und so wir's nicht vielmehr aus Sorge darum getan haben, daß wir sprachen: Heut oder morgen möchten eure Kinder zu unsern Kindern sagen: Was geht euch der HERR, der Gott Israels, an?
25 For the Lord has made Jordan a line of division between us and you, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad; you have no part in the Lord: so your children will make our children give up fearing the Lord.
25 L'Éternel a mis le Jourdain pour limite entre nous et vous, fils de Ruben et fils de Gad; vous n'avez point de part à l'Éternel! Et vos fils seraient ainsi cause que nos fils cesseraient de craindre l'Éternel.
25 Nach ndearna an Tiarna teorainn den Iordáin idir sinne agus sibhse, a chlann Reúbaen agus a chlann Ghád? Níl cuid agaibh sa Tiarna.’ Ar an gcaoi sin d'fhéadfadh bhur gclannsa a chosc ar ár gclann-na seirbhís a thabhairt don Tiarna.
25 Jehová ha puesto por término el Jordán entre nosotros y vosotros, oh hijos de Rubén é hijos de Gad; no tenéis vosotros parte en Jehová: y así vuestros hijos harán que nuestros hijos no teman á Jehová.
25 Der HERR hat den Jordan zur Grenze gesetzt zwischen uns und euch Kindern Ruben und Gad; ihr habt keinen Teil am HERRN." Damit würden eure Kinder unsre Kinder von der Furcht des HERRN weisen.
26 So we said, Let us now make an altar for ourselves, not for burned offerings or for the offerings of beasts:
26 C'est pourquoi nous avons dit: Bâtissons-nous donc un autel, non pour des holocaustes et pour des sacrifices,
26 Dúramar dá bhrí sin: ‘Tógaimís altóir anois, ní le haghaidh ofrálacha uileloiscthe ná íobairtí,
26 Por esto dijimos: Hagamos ahora por edificarnos un altar, no para holocausto ni para sacrificio,
26 Darum sprachen wir: Laßt uns einen Altar bauen, nicht zum Brandopfer noch zu andern Opfern,
27 But to be a witness between us and you, and between the future generations, that we have the right of worshipping the Lord with our burned offerings and our offerings of beasts and our peace-offerings; so that your children will not be able to say to our children in time to come, You have no part in the Lord.
27 mais comme un témoin entre nous et vous, entre nos descendants et les vôtres, que nous voulons servir l'Éternel devant sa face par nos holocaustes et par nos sacrifices d'expiation et d'actions de grâces, afin que vos fils ne disent pas un jour à nos fils: Vous n'avez point de part à l'Éternel!
27 ach le bheith ina finné, idir sinne agus sibhse agus idir ár sliocht inár ndiaidh, go dtugaimid seirbhís don Tiarna lenár n‑íobairtí uileloiscthe agus ár n‑abhlanna agus ár n‑íobairtí comaoineach ina láthair, le heagla go mba fhéidir le bhur gclannsa a rá lenár gclann-na: “Níl cuid agaibh sa Tiarna.’ ”
27 Sino para que sea un testimonio entre nosotros y vosotros, y entre los que vendrán después de nosotros, de que podemos hacer el servicio de Jehová delante de él con nuestros holocaustos, con nuestros sacrificios, y con nuestros pacíficos; y no digan mañana vuestros hijos á los nuestros: Vosotros no tenéis parte en Jehová.
27 sondern daß er ein Zeuge sei zwischen uns und euch und unsern Nachkommen, daß wir dem HERRN Dienst tun mögen vor ihm mit unsern Brandopfern, Dankopfern und andern Opfern und eure Kinder heut oder morgen nicht sagen dürfen zu unsern Kindern: Ihr habt keinen Teil an dem HERRN.
28 For we said to ourselves, If they say this to us or to future generations, then we will say, See this copy of the Lord's altar which our fathers made, not for burned offerings or offerings of beasts, but for a witness between us and you.
28 Nous avons dit: S'ils tiennent dans l'avenir ce langage à nous ou à nos descendants, nous répondrons: Voyez la forme de l'autel de l'Éternel, qu'ont fait nos pères, non pour des holocaustes et pour des sacrifices, mais comme témoin entre nous et vous.
28 Mheasamar dá ndéarfaí a leithéid sin linn féin nó lenár sliocht lá éigin le teacht, go ndéarfaimís: ‘Féach, an macasamhail seo d'altóir an Tiarna a rinne ár n‑aithreacha, ní le haghaidh ofrálacha uileloiscthe ná íobairtí, ach le bheith ina finné idir sibhse agus sinne.’
28 Nosotros, pues, dijimos: Si aconteciere que tal digan á nosotros, ó á nuestras generaciones en lo por venir, entonces responderemos: Mirad el símil del altar de Jehová, el cual hicieron nuestros padres, no para holocaustos ó sacrificios, sino para que fuese testimonio entre nosotros y vosotros.
28 Wenn sie aber also zu uns sagen würden oder zu unsern Nachkommen heut oder morgen, so könnten wir sagen: Seht das Gleichnis des Altars des HERRN, den unsere Väter gemacht haben, nicht zum Brandopfer noch zu andern Opfern, sondern zum Zeugen zwischen uns und euch.
29 Never let it be said that we were false to the Lord, turning back this day from him and building an altar for burned offerings and meal offerings and offerings of beasts, in addition to the altar of the Lord our God which is before his House.
29 Loin de nous la pensée de nous révolter contre l'Éternel et de nous détourner aujourd'hui de l'Éternel, en bâtissant un autel pour des holocaustes, pour des offrandes et pour des sacrifices, outre l'autel de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, qui est devant sa demeure!
29 I bhfad uainne ceannairc a dhéanamh in aghaidh an Tiarna, nó casadh i leataobh agus gan an Tiarna a leanúint trí altóir a thógáil d'íobairt uileloiscthe nó d'abhlanna, nó d'íobairt chomaoineach, seachas altóir an Tiarna, ár nDia, a sheasann os comhair a bhotha!”
29 Nunca tal acontezca que nos rebelemos contra Jehová, ó que nos apartemos hoy de seguir á Jehová, edificando altar para holocaustos, para presente, ó para sacrificio, á más del altar de Jehová nuestro Dios que está delante de su tabernáculo.
29 Das sei ferne von uns, daß wir abtrünnig werden von dem HERRN, daß wir uns heute wollten von ihm wenden und einen Altar bauen zum Brandopfer und andern Opfern, außer dem Altar des HERRN, unsers Gottes, der vor seiner Wohnung steht.
30 Then Phinehas the priest and the chiefs of the meeting and the heads of the families of Israel who were with him, hearing what the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh said, were pleased.
30 Lorsque le sacrificateur Phinées, et les princes de l'assemblée, les chefs des milliers d'Israël, qui étaient avec lui, eurent entendu les paroles que prononcèrent les fils de Ruben, les fils de Gad et les fils de Manassé, ils furent satisfaits.
30 Nuair a chuala Píneachás sagart agus ceannairí an chomhthionóil, cinn finí Iosrael, a bhí in éineacht leis, na focail a dúirt clann Reúbaen, clann Ghád, agus clann Mhanaise, d'aontaíodar leo le fonn.
30 Y oyendo Phinees el sacerdote y los príncipes de la congregación, y las cabezas de la multitud de Israel que con él estaban, las palabras que hablaron los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Manasés, fueron contentos de ello.
30 Da aber Pinehas, der Priester, und die Obersten der Gemeinde, die Häupter über die Tausende Israels, die mit ihm waren, hörten diese Worte, die die Kinder Ruben, Gad und Manasse sagten, gefielen sie ihnen wohl.
31 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, said to the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh, Now we are certain that the Lord is among us, because you have not done this wrong against the Lord: and you have kept us from falling into the hands of the Lord.
31 Et Phinées, fils du sacrificateur Éléazar, dit aux fils de Ruben, aux fils de Gad, et aux fils de Manassé: Nous reconnaissons maintenant que l'Éternel est au milieu de nous, puisque vous n'avez point commis cette infidélité contre l'Éternel; vous avez ainsi délivré les enfants d'Israël de la main de l'Éternel.
31 Ansin dúirt Píneachás mac Eileázár sagart le clann Reúbaen, clann Ghád, agus clann Mhanaise: “Tá a fhios againn go dianmhaith anois go bhfuil an Tiarna inár measc, mar ní dhearna sibh an feall seo ar an Tiarna; tá clann Iosrael, más ea, fuascailte agaibh ó láimh an Tiarna.”
31 Y dijo Phinees hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, á los hijos de Rubén, á los hijos de Gad, y á los hijos de Manasés: Hoy hemos entendido que Jehová está entre nosotros, pues que no habéis intentado esta traición contra Jehová. Ahora habéis librado á los hijos de Israel de la mano de Jehová.
31 Und Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, des Priesters, sprach zu den Kindern Ruben, Gad und Manasse: Heute erkennen wir, daß der HERR unter uns ist, daß ihr euch nicht an dem HERRN versündigt habt in dieser Tat. Nun habt ihr die Kinder Israel errettet aus der Hand des HERRN.
32 Then Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, and the chiefs went back from the land of Gilead, from the children of Reuben and the children of Gad, and came to the children of Israel in Canaan and gave them the news.
32 Phinées, fils du sacrificateur Éléazar, et les princes, quittèrent les fils de Ruben et les fils de Gad, et revinrent du pays de Galaad dans le pays de Canaan, auprès des enfants d'Israël, auxquels ils firent un rapport.
32 Ansín d'fhág Píneachás sagart, mac Eileázár, agus na ceannairí slán ag clann Reúbaen agus ag clann Ghád agus d'fhill ó thír Ghileád ar thír Chanán agus ar chlann Iosrael agus thug tuairisc dóibh.
32 Y Phinees hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, y los príncipes, volviéronse de con los hijos de Rubén, y de con los hijos de Gad, de la tierra de Galaad á la tierra de Canaán, á los hijos de Israel: á los cuales dieron la respuesta.
32 Da zogen Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, des Priesters, und die Obersten aus dem Lande Gilead von den Kindern Ruben und Gad wieder ins Land Kanaan zu den Kindern Israel und sagten's ihnen an.
33 And the children of Israel were pleased about this; and they gave praise to God, and had no more thought of going to war against the children of Reuben and the children of Gad for the destruction of their land.
33 Les enfants d'Israël furent satisfaits; ils bénirent Dieu, et ne parlèrent plus de monter en armes pour ravager le pays qu'habitaient les fils de Ruben et les fils de Gad.
33 Thaitin an tuairisc seo le clann Iosrael, agus ghabh siad buíochas leis an Tiarna, agus bhí deireadh acu le caint ar chogadh a chur orthu, agus ar an tír inar chuir clann Reúbaen agus clann Ghád fúthu a chreachadh.
33 Y el negocio plugo á los hijos de Israel, y bendijeron á Dios los hijos de Israel; y no hablaron más de subir contra ellos en guerra, para destruir la tierra en que habitaban los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad.
33 Das gefiel den Kindern Israel wohl, und lobten den Gott der Kinder Israel und sagten nicht mehr, daß sie hinauf wollten ziehen mit einem Heer wider sie, zu verderben das Land, darin die Kinder Ruben und Gad wohnten.
34 And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad gave to that altar the name of Ed. For, they said, It is a witness between us that the Lord is God.
34 Les fils de Ruben et les fils de Gad appelèrent l'autel Ed, car, dirent-ils, il est témoin entre nous que l'Éternel est Dieu.
34 Thug clann Reúbaen agus clann Ghád [Finné] mar ainm ar an altóir, “Mar,” ar siad, “beidh sí ina finné eadrainn gurb é an Tiarna is Dia.”
34 Y los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad pusieron por nombre al altar Ed; porque es testimonio entre nosotros que Jehová es Dios.
34 Und die Kinder Ruben und Gad hießen den Altar: Daß er Zeuge sei zwischen uns, daß der HERR Gott sei.
