1 Now there were at Antioch, in the church there, prophets and teachers, Barnabas, and Symeon who was named Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, a relation of Herod the king, and Saul.

7 Who was with the ruler, Sergius Paulus, an able man. This man sent for Barnabas and Saul, desiring to have knowledge of the word of God.

11 And now, see, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind and not able to see the sun for a time. And straight away a dark mist came down on him; and he went about looking for a guide.

12 Then the ruler, when he saw what was done, had faith, being full of wonder at the teaching of the Lord.

14 But they, going through from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath and were seated.

16 And Paul, getting up and making a sign with his hand, said, Men of Israel, and you who have the fear of God, give ear.

18 And for about forty years he put up with their ways in the waste land.

22 And having put him on one side, he made David their king, to whom he gave witness, saying, I have taken David, the son of Jesse, a man dear to my heart, who will do all my pleasure.

22 Y quitado aquél, levantóles por rey á David, el que dió también testimonio, diciendo: He hallado á David, hijo de Jessé, varón conforme á mi corazón, el cual hará todo lo que yo quiero.

23 From this man's seed has God given to Israel a Saviour, even Jesus, as he gave his word;

33 daß sie Gott uns, ihren Kindern, erfüllt hat in dem, daß er Jesum auferweckte; wie denn im zweiten Psalm geschrieben steht: "Du bist mein Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeuget."
34 And about his coming back from the dead, never again to go to destruction, he has said these words, I will give you the holy and certain mercies of David.
34 Qu'il l'ait ressuscité des morts, de telle sorte qu'il ne retournera pas à la corruption, c'est ce qu'il a déclaré, en disant: Je vous donnerai Les grâces saintes promises à David, ces grâces qui sont assurées.

34 Daß er ihn aber hat von den Toten auferweckt, daß er hinfort nicht soll verwesen, spricht er also: "Ich will euch die Gnade, David verheißen, treulich halten."
35 Because he says in another Psalm, You will not let your Holy One see destruction.
35 C'est pourquoi il dit encore ailleurs: Tu ne permettras pas que ton Saint voie la corruption.

36 Now David, having done God's work for his generation, went to sleep, and was put with his fathers, and his body came to destruction:

36 Denn David, da er zu seiner Zeit gedient hatte dem Willen Gottes, ist entschlafen und zu seinen Vätern getan und hat die Verwesung gesehen.
37 But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.
37 Mais celui que Dieu a ressuscité n'a pas vu la corruption.
37 Ach an té a thóg Dia ó mhairbh níor imigh aon mheathlú air.
37 Mas aquel que Dios levantó, no vió corrupción.
37 Den aber Gott auferweckt hat, der hat die Verwesung nicht gesehen.
38 And so, let it be clear to you, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is offered to you:

39 And through him everyone who has faith is made free from all those things, from which the law of Moses was not able to make you free.
39 et que quiconque croit est justifié par lui de toutes les choses dont vous ne pouviez être justifiés par la loi de Moïse.

40 So take care that these words of the prophets do not come true for you;

41 See, you doubters, have wonder and come to your end; for I will do a thing in your days to which you will not give belief, even if it is made clear to you.
41 Voyez, contempteurs, Soyez étonnés et disparaissez; Car je vais faire en vos jours une oeuvre, Une oeuvre que vous ne croiriez pas si on vous la racontait.
41 ‘Breathnaígí, a lucht na tarcaisne, Glacaigí alltacht agus ceiliúraigí. Mar tá obair le déanamh agamsa le bhur linn, obair nach gcreidfeadh sibh dá n‑inseofaí daoibh é.’ ”
41 Mirad, oh menospreciadores, y entonteceos, y desvaneceos; Porque yo obro una obra en vuestros días, Obra que no creeréis, si alguien os la contare.
41 "Seht, ihr Verächter, und verwundert euch und werdet zunichte! denn ich tue ein Werk zu euren Zeiten, welches ihr nicht glauben werdet, so es euch jemand erzählen wird."
42 And when they went out, they made a request that these words might be said to them again on the Sabbath after.
42 Lorsqu'ils sortirent, on les pria de parler le sabbat suivant sur les mêmes choses;

43 Now when the meeting was ended, a number of the Jews and of the God-fearing Gentiles who had become Jews, went after Paul and Barnabas: who put before them how important it was to keep on in the grace of God.
43 et, à l'issue de l'assemblée, beaucoup de Juifs et de prosélytes pieux suivirent Paul et Barnabas, qui s'entretinrent avec eux, et les exhortèrent à rester attachés à la grâce de Dieu.

43 Y despedida la congregación, muchos de los Judíos y de los religiosos prosélitos siguieron á Pablo y á Bernabé; los cuales hablándoles, les persuadían que permaneciesen en la gracia de Dios.
43 Und als die Gemeinde der Schule voneinander ging, folgten Paulus und Barnabas nach viele Juden und gottesfürchtige Judengenossen. Sie aber sagten ihnen und ermahnten sie, daß sie bleiben sollten in der Gnade Gottes.
44 And on the Sabbath after, almost all the town came together to give hearing to the word of God.

45 But when the Jews saw such a great number of people, they were full of envy and said evil words against Paul's preaching.
45 Les Juifs, voyant la foule, furent remplis de jalousie, et ils s'opposaient à ce que disait Paul, en le contredisant et en l'injuriant.

45 Mas los Judíos, visto el gentío, llenáronse de celo, y se oponían á lo que Pablo decía, contradiciendo y blasfemando.
45 Da aber die Juden das Volk sahen, wurden sie voll Neides und widersprachen dem, was von Paulus gesagt ward, widersprachen und lästerten.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas without fear said, It was necessary for the word of God to be given to you first; but because you will have nothing to do with it, and have no desire for eternal life, it will now be offered to the Gentiles.
46 Paul et Barnabas leur dirent avec assurance: C'est à vous premièrement que la parole de Dieu devait être annoncée; mais, puisque vous la repoussez, et que vous vous jugez vous-mêmes indignes de la vie éternelle, voici, nous nous tournons vers les païens.

46 Paulus aber und Barnabas sprachen frei und öffentlich: Euch mußte zuerst das Wort Gottes gesagt werden; nun ihr es aber von euch stoßet und achtet euch selbst nicht wert des ewigen Lebens, siehe, so wenden wir uns zu den Heiden.
47 For so the Lord has given us orders, saying, I have given you for a light to the Gentiles so that you may be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
47 Car ainsi nous l'a ordonné le Seigneur: Je t'ai établi pour être la lumière des nations, Pour porter le salut jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre.

47 Porque así nos ha mandado el Señor, diciendo: Te he puesto para luz de los Gentiles, Para que seas salud hasta lo postrero de la tierra.
47 Denn also hat uns der HERR geboten: "Ich habe dich den Heiden zum Licht gesetzt, daß du das Heil seist bis an das Ende der Erde."
48 And the Gentiles, hearing this, were glad and gave glory to the word of God: and those marked out by God for eternal life had faith.
48 Les païens se réjouissaient en entendant cela, ils glorifiaient la parole du Seigneur, et tous ceux qui étaient destinés à la vie éternelle crurent.
48 Bhí áthas ar na págánaigh an méid sin a chloisteáil agus bhí ardmholadh acu ar bhriathar an Tiarna; agus an méid acu a bhí réamhcheaptha don bheatha shíoraí, ghlac siad an creideamh,
48 Y los Gentiles oyendo esto, fueron gozosos, y glorificaban la palabra del Señor: y creyeron todos los que estaban ordenados para vida eterna.
48 Da es aber die Heiden hörten, wurden sie froh und priesen das Wort des HERRN und wurden gläubig, wie viele ihrer zum ewigen Leben verordnet waren.
49 And the word of the Lord went through all the country.
49 La parole du Seigneur se répandait dans tout le pays.

49 Y la palabra del Señor era sembrada por toda aquella provincia.
49 Und das Wort des HERRN ward ausgebreitet durch die ganze Gegend.
50 But the Jews, working up the feelings of the God-fearing women of high position and of the chief men of the town, got an attack started against Paul and Barnabas, driving them out of those parts.
50 Mais les Juifs excitèrent les femmes dévotes de distinction et les principaux de la ville; ils provoquèrent une persécution contre Paul et Barnabas, et ils les chassèrent de leur territoire.

50 Mas los Judíos concitaron mujeres pías y honestas, y á los principales de la ciudad, y levantaron persecución contra Pablo y Bernabé, y los echaron de sus términos.
50 Aber die Juden bewegten die andächtigen und ehrbaren Weiber und der Stadt Oberste und erweckten eine Verfolgung über Paulus und Barnabas und stießen sie zu ihren Grenzen hinaus.
51 But they, shaking off the dust of that place from their feet, came to Iconium.
