1 Truly I say to you, He who does not go through the door into the place where the sheep are kept, but gets in by some other way, is a thief and an outlaw.

1 Wahrlich, wahrlich ich sage euch: Wer nicht zur Tür eingeht in den Schafstall, sondern steigt anderswo hinein, der ist ein Dieb und ein Mörder.
2 He who goes in by the door is the keeper of the sheep.
2 Mais celui qui entre par la porte est le berger des brebis.

3 The porter lets him in; and the sheep give ear to his voice; he says over the names of the sheep, and takes them out.

3 A éste abre el portero, y las ovejas oyen su voz: y á sus ovejas llama por nombre, y las saca.
3 Dem tut der Türhüter auf, und die Schafe hören seine Stimme; und er ruft seine Schafe mit Namen und führt sie aus.
4 When he has got them all out, he goes before them, and the sheep go after him, for they have knowledge of his voice.
4 Lorsqu'il a fait sortir toutes ses propres brebis, il marche devant elles; et les brebis le suivent, parce qu'elles connaissent sa voix.
4 Nuair a bhíonn a chaoirigh uile seolta amach aige, téann sé rompu agus leanann a chaoirigh é, mar aithníonn siad a ghuth.
4 Y como ha sacado fuera todas las propias, va delante de ellas; y las ovejas le siguen, porque conocen su voz.

5 They will not go after another who is not their keeper, but will go from him in flight, because his voice is strange to them.

5 Mas al extraño no seguirán, antes huirán de él: porque no conocen la voz de los extraños.
5 Einem Fremden aber folgen sie nicht nach, sondern fliehen von ihm; denn sie kennen der Fremden Stimme nicht.
6 In this Jesus was teaching them in the form of a story: but what he said was not clear to them.
6 Jésus leur dit cette parabole, mais ils ne comprirent pas de quoi il leur parlait.

6 Esta parábola les dijo Jesús; mas ellos no entendieron qué era lo que les decía.

7 So Jesus said again, Truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

7 Da sprach Jesus wieder zu ihnen: Wahrlich, wahrlich ich sage euch: Ich bin die Tür zu den Schafen.
8 All who came before me are thieves and outlaws: but the sheep did not give ear to them.
8 Tous ceux qui sont venus avant moi sont des voleurs et des brigands; mais les brebis ne les ont point écoutés.
8 Gach ar tháinig romham, bithiúnaigh a ba ea iad agus robálaithe, agus níor éist na caoirigh leo.
8 Todos los que antes de mí vinieron, ladrones son y robadores; mas no los oyeron las ovejas.

9 I am the door: if any man goes in through me he will have salvation, and will go in and go out, and will get food.

10 The thief comes only to take the sheep and to put them to death: he comes for their destruction: I have come so that they may have life and have it in greater measure.
10 Le voleur ne vient que pour dérober, égorger et détruire; moi, je suis venu afin que les brebis aient la vie, et qu'elles soient dans l'abondance.

10 El ladrón no viene sino para hurtar, y matar, y destruir: yo he venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.

11 I am the good keeper of sheep: the good keeper gives his life for the sheep.
11 Je suis le bon berger. Le bon berger donne sa vie pour ses brebis.

11 Ich bin gekommen, daß sie das Leben und volle Genüge haben sollen.
12 He who is a servant, and not the keeper or the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming and goes in flight, away from the sheep; and the wolf comes down on them and sends them in all directions:
12 Mais le mercenaire, qui n'est pas le berger, et à qui n'appartiennent pas les brebis, voit venir le loup, abandonne les brebis, et prend la fuite; et le loup les ravit et les disperse.
12 An fostúch, nach bhfuil ina aoire, agus nach leis féin na caoirigh, feiceann sé an mac tíre ag teacht, agus fágann na caoirigh agus teitheann, agus fuadaíonn an mac tíre iad agus scaipeann.
12 Mas el asalariado, y que no es el pastor, de quien no son propias las ovejas, ve al lobo que viene, y deja las ovejas, y huye, y el lobo las arrebata, y esparce las ovejas.
12 Ich bin der gute Hirte. Der gute Hirte läßt sein Leben für seine Schafe. Der Mietling aber, der nicht Hirte ist, des die Schafe nicht eigen sind, sieht den Wolf kommen und verläßt die Schafe und flieht; und der Wolf erhascht und zerstreut die Schafe.
13 Because he is a servant he has no interest in the sheep.
13 Le mercenaire s'enfuit, parce qu'il est mercenaire, et qu'il ne se met point en peine des brebis. Je suis le bon berger.
13 [Teitheann sé] de bhrí gur fostúch é, agus gur cuma leis mar gheall ar na caoirigh.
13 Así que, el asalariado, huye, porque es asalariado, y no tiene cuidado de las ovejas.
13 Der Mietling aber flieht; denn er ist ein Mietling und achtet der Schafe nicht.
14 I am the good keeper; I have knowledge of my sheep, and they have knowledge of me,
14 Je connais mes brebis, et elles me connaissent,
14 Ach is mise an sáraoire, agus aithním mo chuid féin, agus aithníonn mo chuid féin mé,
14 Yo soy el buen pastor; y conozco mis ovejas, y las mías me conocen.
14 Ich bin der gute Hirte und erkenne die Meinen und bin bekannt den Meinen,
15 Even as the Father has knowledge of me and I of the Father; and I am giving my life for the sheep.
15 comme le Père me connaît et comme je connais le Père; et je donne ma vie pour mes brebis.

15 Como el Padre me conoce, y yo conozco al Padre; y pongo mi vida por las ovejas.

16 And I have other sheep which are not of this field: I will be their guide in the same way, and they will give ear to my voice, so there will be one flock and one keeper.
16 J'ai encore d'autres brebis, qui ne sont pas de cette bergerie; celles-là, il faut que je les amène; elles entendront ma voix, et il y aura un seul troupeau, un seul berger.
16 Tá caoirigh eile agam chomh maith, nach den chró seo iad. Ní foláir dom iad sin a thabhairt chomh maith, agus éistfidh siad le mo ghlór, agus beidh aon tréad amháin ann, agus aon aoire amháin.
16 También tengo otras ovejas que no son de este redil; aquéllas también me conviene traer, y oirán mi voz; y habrá un rebaño, y un pastor.
16 Und ich habe noch andere Schafe, die sind nicht aus diesem Stalle; und dieselben muß ich herführen, und sie werden meine Stimme hören, und wird eine Herde und ein Hirte werden.
17 For this reason am I loved by the Father, because I give up my life so that I may take it again.
17 Le Père m'aime, parce que je donne ma vie, afin de la reprendre.

18 No one takes it away from me; I give it up of myself. I have power to give it up, and I have power to take it again. These orders I have from my Father.
18 Personne ne me l'ôte, mais je la donne de moi-même; j'ai le pouvoir de la donner, et j'ai le pouvoir de la reprendre: tel est l'ordre que j'ai reçu de mon Père.
18 Níl aon duine á tógáil uaim; is uaim féin a thugaim uaim í, agus tá sé ar mo chumas í a thabhairt uaim agus tá sé ar mo chumas í a ghabháil chugam arís. Sin í an aithne a fuair mé ó m'Athair.”
18 Nadie me la quita, mas yo la pongo de mí mismo. Tengo poder para ponerla, y tengo poder para volverla á tomar. Este mandamiento recibí de mi Padre.
18 Niemand nimmt es von mir, sondern ich lasse es von mir selber. Ich habe Macht, es zu lassen, und habe Macht, es wiederzunehmen. Solch Gebot habe ich empfangen von meinem Vater.
19 There was a division again among the Jews because of these words.
19 Il y eut de nouveau, à cause de ces paroles, division parmi les Juifs.

19 Y volvió á haber disensión entre los Judíos por estas palabras.

20 And a number of them said, He has an evil spirit and is out of his mind; why do you give ear to him?
20 Plusieurs d'entre eux disaient: Il a un démon, il est fou; pourquoi l'écoutez-vous?

21 Others said, These are not the words of one who has an evil spirit. Is it possible for an evil spirit to make blind people see?
21 D'autres disaient: Ce ne sont pas les paroles d'un démoniaque; un démon peut-il ouvrir les yeux des aveugles?

24 Then the Jews came round him, saying, how long are you going to keep us in doubt? If you are the Christ, say so clearly.
24 Les Juifs l'entourèrent, et lui dirent: Jusques à quand tiendras-tu notre esprit en suspens? Si tu es le Christ, dis-le nous franchement.
24 Chruinnigh na Giúdaigh ina thimpeall agus dúirt siad leis: “An fada a bheimid dár gcoinneáil ar bís agat? Más tú an Críost inis dúinn é os comhair an tsaoil.”
24 Y rodeáronle los Judíos y dijéronle: ¿Hasta cuándo nos has de turbar el alma? Si tú eres el Cristo, dínos lo abiertamente.
24 Da umringten ihn die Juden und sprachen zu ihm: Wie lange hältst du unsere Seele auf? Bist du Christus, so sage es uns frei heraus.
25 Jesus said in answer, I have said it and you have no belief: the works which I do in my Father's name, these give witness about me.
25 Jésus leur répondit: Je vous l'ai dit, et vous ne croyez pas. Les oeuvres que je fais au nom de mon Père rendent témoignage de moi.
25 D'fhreagair Íosa iad: “D'inis mé daoibh, ach ní chreideann sibh. Na hoibreacha a dhéanaim in ainm m'Athar, tugann siad fianaise i mo thaobh.
25 Respondióles Jesús: Os lo he dicho, y no creéis: las obras que yo hago en nombre de mi Padre, ellas dan testimonio de mí;
25 Jesus antwortete ihnen: Ich habe es euch gesagt, und ihr glaubet nicht. Die Werke, die ich tue in meines Vaters Namen, die zeugen von mir.
26 But you have no belief because you are not of my sheep.
26 Mais vous ne croyez pas, parce que vous n'êtes pas de mes brebis.
26 Ach ní chreideann sibhse, mar ní de mo chaoirigh sibh.
26 Mas vosotros no creéis, porque no sois de mis ovejas, como os he dicho.
26 Aber ihr glaubet nicht; denn ihr seid von meinen Schafen nicht, wie ich euch gesagt habe.
27 My sheep give ear to my voice, and I have knowledge of them, and they come after me:

28 und ich gebe ihnen das ewige Leben; und sie werden nimmermehr umkommen, und niemand wird sie mir aus meiner Hand reißen.
29 That which my Father has given to me has more value than all; and no one is able to take anything out of the Father's hand.
29 Mon Père, qui me les a données, est plus grand que tous; et personne ne peut les ravir de la main de mon Père.
29 M'Athair a thug dom iad, is mó é ná cách, agus ní féidir d'aon duine fuadach ó láimh m'Athar.

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to send at him.
31 Alors les Juifs prirent de nouveau des pierres pour le lapider.

32 Jesus said to them in answer, I have let you see a number of good works from the Father; for which of those works are you stoning me?
32 Jésus leur dit: Je vous ai fait voir plusieurs bonnes oeuvres venant de mon Père: pour laquelle me lapidez-vous?

32 Respondióles Jesús: Muchas buenas obras os he mostrado de mi Padre, ¿por cuál obra de esas me apedreáis?
32 Jesus antwortete ihnen: Viel gute Werke habe ich euch erzeigt von meinem Vater; um welches Werk unter ihnen steinigt ihr mich?
33 This was their answer: We are not stoning you for a good work but for evil words; because being a man you make yourself God.
33 Les Juifs lui répondirent: Ce n'est point pour une bonne oeuvre que nous te lapidons, mais pour un blasphème, et parce que toi, qui es un homme, tu te fais Dieu.
33 D'fhreagair na Giúdaigh é: “Ní mar gheall ar obair fhónta atáimid ag gabháil de chlocha ionat, ach mar gheall ar dhiamhasla, agus go ndéanann tú Dia díot féin agus gan ionat ach duine.”
33 Respondiéronle los Judíos, diciendo: Por buena obra no te apedreamos, sino por la blasfemia; y porque tú, siendo hombre, te haces Dios.
33 Die Juden antworteten ihm und sprachen: Um des guten Werks willen steinigen wir dich nicht, sondern um der Gotteslästerung willen und daß du ein Mensch bist und machst dich selbst zu Gott.
34 In answer, Jesus said, Is there not a saying in your law, I said, You are gods?
34 Jésus leur répondit: N'est-il pas écrit dans votre loi: J'ai dit: Vous êtes des dieux?

35 If he said they were gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Writings may not be broken),
35 Si elle a appelé dieux ceux à qui la parole de Dieu a été adressée, et si l'Écriture ne peut être anéantie,
35 Má thug sé déithe orthu siúd ar labhraíodh briathar Dé leo, agus nach féidir an scrioptúr a chur ar neamhní,
35 Si dijo, dioses, á aquellos á los cuales fué hecha palabra de Dios (y la Escritura no puede ser quebrantada);
35 So er die Götter nennt, zu welchen das Wort geschah, und die Schrift kann doch nicht gebrochen werden,
36 Do you say of him whom the Father made holy and sent into the world, Your words are evil; because I said, I am God's Son?
36 celui que le Père a sanctifié et envoyé dans le monde, vous lui dites: Tu blasphèmes! Et cela parce que j'ai dit: Je suis le Fils de Dieu.
36 an té a naomhaigh an tAthair, agus a chuir sé uaidh sa saol, an ndeir sibhse leis: ‘Sin diamhasla agat!’ mar gur dhúirt mé: ‘Is mé Mac Dé’?
36 ¿A quien el Padre santificó y envió al mundo, vosotros decís: Tú blasfemas, porque dije: Hijo de Dios soy?
36 sprecht ihr denn zu dem, den der Vater geheiligt und in die Welt gesandt hat: "Du lästerst Gott", darum daß ich sage: Ich bin Gottes Sohn?
37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, do not have belief in me;
37 Si je ne fais pas les oeuvres de mon Père, ne me croyez pas.
37 Mura ndéanaim oibreacha m'Athar, ná creidigí mé.
37 Si no hago obras de mi Padre, no me creáis.
37 Tue ich nicht die Werke meines Vaters, so glaubet mir nicht;
38 But if I am doing them, then have belief in the works even if you have no belief in me; so that you may see clearly and be certain that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.
38 Mais si je les fais, quand même vous ne me croyez point, croyez à ces oeuvres, afin que vous sachiez et reconnaissiez que le Père est en moi et que je suis dans le Père.
38 Ach má dhéanaim, fiú amháin mura gcreideann sibh mé, creidigí sna hoibreacha, i dtreo go mbeadh a fhios agaibh, agus go dtuigfeadh sibh, go bhfuil an tAthair ionam, agus mise san Athair.”
38 Mas si las hago, aunque á mí no creáis, creed á las obras; para que conozcáis y creáis que el Padre está en mí, y yo en el Padre.
38 tue ich sie aber, glaubet doch den Werken, wollt ihr mir nicht glauben, auf daß ihr erkennet und glaubet, daß der Vater in mir ist und ich in ihm.
39 Then again they made an attempt to take him; but he got away from them.
39 Là-dessus, ils cherchèrent encore à le saisir, mais il s'échappa de leurs mains.

39 Y procuraban otra vez prenderle; mas él se salió de sus manos;

40 And he went again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John first gave baptism; and he was there for a time.
40 Jésus s'en alla de nouveau au delà du Jourdain, dans le lieu où Jean avait d'abord baptisé. Et il y demeura.

41 And a great number of people came to him, saying, John did no sign: but everything John said of this man was true.
41 Beaucoup de gens vinrent à lui, et ils disaient: Jean n'a fait aucun miracle; mais tout ce que Jean a dit de cet homme était vrai.

41 Y muchos venían á él, y decían: Juan, á la verdad, ninguna señal hizo; mas todo lo que Juan dijo de éste, era verdad.
41 Und viele kamen zu ihm und sprachen: Johannes tat kein Zeichen; aber alles, was Johannes von diesem gesagt hat, das ist wahr.
