2 Antes que pára el decreto, y el día se pase como el tamo; antes que venga sobre vosotros el furor de la ira de Jehová, antes que el día de la ira de Jehová venga sobre vosotros.
2 ehe denn das Urteil ausgehe, daß ihr wie die Spreu bei Tage dahin fahrt; ehe denn des HERRN grimmiger Zorn über euch komme; ehe der Tag des Zornes des HERRN über euch komme.
3 Make search for the Lord, all you quiet ones of the earth, who have done what is right in his eyes; make search for righteousness and a quiet heart: it may be that you will be safely covered in the day of the Lord's wrath.
3 Cherchez l'Éternel, vous tous, humbles du pays, Qui pratiquez ses ordonnances! Recherchez la justice, recherchez l'humilité! Peut-être serez-vous épargnés au jour de la colère de l'Éternel.

4 For Gaza will be given up and Ashkelon will become waste: they will send Ashdod out in the middle of the day, and Ekron will be uprooted.
4 Car Gaza sera délaissée, Askalon sera réduite en désert, Asdod sera chassée en plein midi, Ékron sera déracinée.

5 Sorrow to the people living by the sea, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, the land of the Philistines; I will send destruction on you till there is no one living in you.
5 Malheur aux habitants des côtes de la mer, à la nation des Kéréthiens! L'Éternel a parlé contre toi, Canaan, pays des Philistins! Je te détruirai, tu n'auras plus d'habitants.

5 ¡Ay de los que moran á la parte de la mar, de la gente de Cheretim! La palabra de Jehová es contra vosotros, oh Canaán, tierra de Palestinos, que te haré destruir hasta no quedar morador.
5 Weh denen, so am Meer hinab wohnen, dem Volk der Krether! Des HERRN Wort wird über euch kommen, du Kanaan, der Philister Land; ich will dich umbringen, daß niemand mehr da wohnen soll.
6 And the land by the sea will be grass-land, with houses for keepers of sheep and walled places for flocks.
6 Les côtes de la mer seront des pâturages, des demeures pour les bergers, Et des parcs pour les troupeaux.

7 The land by the sea will be for the rest of the children of Judah; by the sea they will give their flocks food: in the houses of Ashkelon they will take their rest in the evening; for the Lord their God will take them in hand and their fate will be changed.
7 Ces côtes seront pour les restes de la maison de Juda; C'est là qu'ils paîtront; Ils reposeront le soir dans les maisons d'Askalon; Car l'Éternel, leur Dieu, ne les oubliera pas, Et il ramènera leurs captifs.

7 Y será aquella parte para el resto de la casa de Judá; allí apacentarán: en las casas de Ascalón dormirán á la noche; porque Jehová su Dios los visitará, y tornará sus cautivos.
7 Und dasselbe soll den übrigen vom Hause Juda zuteil werden, daß sie darauf weiden sollen. Des Abends sollen sie sich in den Häusern Askalons lagern, wenn sie nun der HERR, ihr Gott, wiederum heimgesucht und ihr Gefängnis gewendet hat.
8 My ears have been open to the bitter words of Moab and the words of shame of the children of Ammon, which they have said against my people, lifting themselves up against the limit of their land.
8 J'ai entendu les injures de Moab Et les outrages des enfants d'Ammon, Quand ils insultaient mon peuple Et s'élevaient avec arrogance contre ses frontières.
8 “Chuala mé madaí Mhóáb agus cáineadh chlann Amón a thug aithis do mo phobal agus a rinne maíomh in aghaidh mo thíre féin,
8 Yo he oído las afrentas de Moab, y los denuestos de los hijos de Ammón con que deshonraron á mi pueblo, y se engrandecieron sobre su término.
8 Ich habe das Schmähen Moabs und das Lästern der Kinder Ammon gehört, womit sie mein Volk geschmäht und auf seinen Grenzen sich gerühmt haben.
9 For this cause, by my life, says the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, truly Moab will become like Sodom and the children of Ammon like Gomorrah, given up to waste plants and salt pools and unpeopled for ever: the rest of my people will take their property, the overflow of my nation will take their heritage.
9 C'est pourquoi, je suis vivant! dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, Moab sera comme Sodome, et les enfants d'Ammon comme Gomorrhe, Un lieu couvert de ronces, une mine de sel, un désert pour toujours; Le reste de mon peuple les pillera, Le reste de ma nation les possédera.
9 Ar an ábhar sin,” a deir Tiarna na Slua, Dia Iosrael, “dar mo bheo ach beidh Móáb mar Shodom agus clann Amón mar Ghomorá - dúiche lán neantóg, carn salainn, díthreabh go deo. Creachfaidh fuílleach mo phobail iad agus glacfaidh iarmhar mo náisiúin seilbh orthu.”
9 Por tanto, vivo yo, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, que Moab será como Sodoma, y los hijos de Ammon como Gomorra; campo de ortigas, y mina de sal, y asolamiento perpetuo: el resto de mi pueblo los saqueará, y el resto de mi gente los heredará.
9 Wohlan, so wahr ich lebe! spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, Moab soll wie Sodom und die Kinder Ammon wie Gomorra werden, ja wie ein Nesselstrauch und eine Salzgrube und eine ewige Wüste. Die übrigen meines Volkes sollen sie berauben, und die Übriggebliebenen meines Volkes sollen sie erben.
10 This will be their fate because of their pride, because they have said evil, lifting themselves up against the people of the Lord of armies.
10 Cela leur arrivera pour leur orgueil, Parce qu'ils ont insulté et traité avec arrogance Le peuple de l'Éternel des armées.
10 A chonách sin orthu de dheasca a n‑uabhair! Mar thug siad aithis do phobal Thiarna na Slua, agus rinne siad maíomh ina aghaidh.
10 Esto les vendrá por su soberbia, porque afrentaron, y se engrandecieron contra el pueblo de Jehová de los ejércitos.
10 Das soll ihnen aber begegnen für ihre Hoffart, daß sie des HERRN Zebaoth Volk geschmäht und sich gerühmt haben.
11 The Lord will let himself be seen by them: for he will make all the gods of the earth feeble; and men will go down before him in worship, everyone from his place, even all the sea-lands of the nations.
11 L'Éternel sera terrible contre eux, Car il anéantira tous les dieux de la terre; Et chacun se prosternera devant lui dans son pays, Dans toutes les îles des nations.
11 Cuirfidh an Tiarna scanradh a n‑anama orthu; mar cuirfidh sé déithe uile an domhain ar neamhní agus sléachtfaidh insí uile na náisiún go talamh roimhe, gach ceann acu ina áit féin.
11 Terrible será Jehová contra ellos, porque enervará á todos los dioses de la tierra; y cada uno desde su lugar se inclinará á él, todas las islas de las gentes.
11 Schrecklich wird der HERR über sie sein, denn er wird alle Götter auf Erden vertilgen; und sollen ihn anbeten alle Inseln der Heiden, ein jeglicher an seinem Ort.
12 And you Ethiopians will be put to death by my sword.
12 Vous aussi, Éthiopiens, Vous serez frappés par mon épée.

12 Vosotros también los de Etiopía seréis muertos con mi espada.
12 Auch sollt ihr Mohren durch mein Schwert erschlagen werden.
13 And his hand will be stretched out against the north, for the destruction of Assyria; and he will make Nineveh unpeopled and dry like the waste land.
13 Il étendra sa main sur le septentrion, Il détruira l'Assyrie, Et il fera de Ninive une solitude, Une terre aride comme le désert.
13 Sínfidh sé a lámh amach in aghaidh an tuaiscirt agus scriosfaidh sé an Asaír agus déanfaidh sé díthreabh de Nínivé nó go mbeidh sí chomh tirim le fásach.
13 Y extenderá su mano sobre el aquilón, y destruirá al Assur, y pondrá á Nínive en asolamiento, y en secadal como un desierto.
13 Und er wird seine Hand strecken gen Mitternacht und Assur umbringen. Ninive wird er öde machen, dürr wie eine Wüste,
14 And herds will take their rest in the middle of her, all the beasts of the valley: the pelican and the porcupine will make their living-places on the tops of its pillars; the owl will be crying in the window; the raven will be seen on the doorstep.
14 Des troupeaux se coucheront au milieu d'elle, Des animaux de toute espèce; Le pélican et le hérisson Habiteront parmi les chapiteaux de ses colonnes; Des cris retentiront aux fenêtres; La dévastation sera sur le seuil, Car les lambris de cèdre seront arrachés.
14 Agus luífidh síos ina lár tréada de gach saghas ainmhithe; agus fiú amháin an cág agus an t‑ulchabhán, déanfaidh siad fara dá coirnisí san oíche. Cloisfear a nglaonna ar an bhfuinneog agus grágaíl an fhéich dhuibh ar an tairseach. Óir, tá an obair chéadrais millte.
14 Y rebaños de ganado harán en ella majada, todas las bestias de las gentes; el onocrótalo también y el erizo dormirán en sus umbrales: su voz cantará en las ventanas; asolación será en las puertas, porque su enmaderamiento de cedro será descubierto.
14 daß darin sich lagern werden allerlei Tiere bei Haufen; auch Rohrdommeln und Igel werden wohnen in ihren Säulenknäufen, und Vögel werden in den Fenstern singen, und auf der Schwelle wird Verwüstung sein; denn die Zedernbretter sollen abgerissen werden.
15 This is the town which was full of joy, living without fear of danger, saying in her heart, I am, and there is no other: how has she been made waste, a place for beasts to take their rest in! everyone who goes by her will make hisses, waving his hand.
15 Voilà donc cette ville joyeuse, Qui s'assied avec assurance, Et qui dit en son coeur: Moi, et rien que moi! Eh quoi! elle est en ruines, C'est un repaire pour les bêtes! Tous ceux qui passeront près d'elle Siffleront et agiteront la main.
15 An í seo an chathair lúcháireach a mhaireadh go slán sábháilte agus a deireadh ina croí istigh: “Táimse ann agus níl mo chomh-mhaith ar fáil”? Cad é mar a rinneadh fothrach di agus brocach beithíoch! Gach uile dhuine a ghabhann thairsti déanann siad faíreach agus bagraíonn siad a ndoirne.
15 Esta es la ciudad alegre que estaba confiada, la que decía en su corazón: Yo, y no más. ¡Cómo fué en asolamiento, en cama de bestias! Cualquiera que pasare junto á ella silbará, meneará su mano.
15 Das ist die fröhliche Stadt, die so sicher wohnte und sprach in ihrem Herzen: Ich bin's, und keine mehr. Wie ist sie so wüst geworden, daß die Tiere darin wohnen! Und wer vorübergeht, pfeift sie an und klatscht mit der Hand über sie.
