1 The word of the Lord which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.
1 La parole de l'Éternel qui fut adressée à Sophonie, fils de Cuschi, fils de Guedalia, fils d'Amaria, fils d'Ézéchias, au temps de Josias, fils d'Amon, roi de Juda.

1 PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Sofonías hijo de Cushi, hijo de Gedalías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Ezechîas, en días de Josías hijo de Amón, rey de Judá.
1 Dies ist das Wort des HERRN, welches geschah zu Zephanja, dem Sohn Chusis, des Sohnes Gedaljas, des Sohnes Amarjas, des Sohnes Hiskias, zur Zeit Josias, des Sohnes Amons, des Königs in Juda.
2 I will take away everything from the face of the earth, says the Lord.
2 Je détruirai tout sur la face de la terre, Dit l'Éternel.
2 “Táim ar tí léirscrios a dhéanamh ar gach ní atá ar dhromchla an domhain, a deir an Tiarna.
2 Destruiré del todo todas las cosas de sobre la haz de la tierra, dice Jehová.
2 Ich will alles aus dem Lande wegnehmen, spricht der HERR.
3 I will take away man and beast; I will take away the birds of the heaven and the fishes of the sea; causing the downfall of the evil-doers, and cutting man off from the face of the earth, says the Lord.
3 Je détruirai les hommes et les bêtes, Les oiseaux du ciel et les poissons de la mer, Les objets de scandale, et les méchants avec eux; J'exterminerai les hommes de la face de la terre, Dit l'Éternel.
3 Scriosfaidh mé an duine agus an beithíoch; scriosfaidh mé éanlaith an aeir agus éisc na farraige [agus gach ábhar scannail agus gach rud a bhaineann tuisle as lucht an oilc] agus scuabfaidh mé an cine daonna chun siúil de dhromchla an domhain, a deir an Tiarna. Daortar Adhradh Déithe Bréige
3 Destruiré los hombres y las bestias; destruiré las aves del cielo, y los peces de la mar, y las piedras de tropiezo con los impíos; y talaré los hombres de sobre la haz de la tierra, dice Jehová.
3 Ich will Menschen und Vieh, Vögel des Himmels und Fische im Meer wegnehmen samt den Ärgernissen und den Gottlosen; ja, ich will die Menschen ausreuten aus dem Lande, spricht der HERR.
4 And my hand will be stretched out on Judah and on all the people of Jerusalem, cutting off the name of the Baal from this place, and the name of the false priests,
4 J'étendrai ma main sur Juda, Et sur tous les habitants de Jérusalem; J'exterminerai de ce lieu les restes de Baal, Le nom de ses ministres et les prêtres avec eux,
4 Agus sínfidh mé amach mo lámh in aghaidh Iúdá agus áitritheoirí uile Iarúsailéim, agus scuabfaidh mé chun siúil gach rian de Bhál as an áit seo, mar aon le hainmneacha a sheirbhíseach agus a shagart
4 Y extenderé mi mano sobre Judá, y sobre todos los moradores de Jerusalem, y exterminaré de este lugar el remanente de Baal, y el nombre de los Chemarim con los sacerdotes;
4 Ich will meine Hand ausstrecken über Juda und über alle, die zu Jerusalem wohnen; also will ich das übrige von Baal ausreuten, dazu den Namen der Götzenpfaffen und Priester aus diesem Ort;
5 And the worshippers of the army of heaven on the house-tops, and the Lord's worshippers who take oaths by Milcom,
5 Ceux qui se prosternent sur les toits devant l'armée des cieux, Ceux qui se prosternent en jurant par l'Éternel Et en jurant par leur roi,
5 iad siúd a shléachtann roimh réaltaí neimhe ar dhíonta na dtithe agus na daoine freisin a shléachtann roimh an Tiarna ach a mhionnaíonn dar Miolcom
5 Y á los que se inclinan sobre los terrados al ejército del cielo; y á los que se inclinan jurando por Jehová y jurando por su rey;
5 und die, so auf den Dächern des Himmels Heer anbeten; die es anbeten und schwören doch bei dem HERRN und zugleich bei Milkom;
6 And those who are turned back from going after the Lord, and those who have not made prayer to the Lord or got directions from him.
6 Ceux qui se sont détournés de l'Éternel, Et ceux qui ne cherchent pas l'Éternel, Qui ne le consultent pas.
6 [agus na daoine a iompaíonn ón Tiarna agus nach lorgann é agus ar beag orthu é].”
6 Y á los que tornan atrás de en pos de Jehová; y á los que no buscaron á Jehová, ni preguntaron por él.
6 und die vom HERRN abfallen, und die nach dem HERRN nichts fragen und ihn nicht achten.
7 Let there be no sound before the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is near: for the Lord has made ready an offering, he has made his guests holy.
7 Silence devant le Seigneur, l'Éternel! Car le jour de l'Éternel est proche, Car l'Éternel a préparé le sacrifice, Il a choisi ses conviés.
7 Bí i do thost i láthair an Tiarna Dia! óir tá lá an Tiarna in achmaireacht. Is ea, go deimhin, tá an Tiarna tar éis íobairt a ullmhú agus a chuid aíonna a choisreacan. In Aghaidh Uaisle na Cúirte
7 Calla en la presencia del Señor Jehová, porque el día de Jehová está cercano; porque Jehová ha aparejado sacrificio, prevenido á sus convidados.
7 Seid still vor dem HERRN HERRN, denn des HERRN Tag ist nahe; denn der HERR hat ein Schlachtopfer zubereitet und seine Gäste dazu geladen.
8 And it will come about in the day of the Lord's offering, that I will send punishment on the rulers and the king's sons and all who are clothed in robes from strange lands.
8 Au jour du sacrifice de l'Éternel, Je châtierai les princes et les fils du roi, Et tous ceux qui portent des vêtements étrangers.
8 “Ar lá íobartha an Tiarna smachtóidh mé na feidhmeannaigh agus clann mhac an rí agus na daoine go léir a chaitheann cultacha coimhthíocha.
8 Y será que en el día del sacrificio de Jehová, haré visitación sobre los príncipes, y sobre los hijos del rey, y sobre todos los que visten vestido extranjero.
8 Und am Tage des Schlachtopfers des HERRN will ich heimsuchen die Fürsten und des Königs Kinder und alle, die ein fremdes Kleid tragen.
9 And in that day I will send punishment on all those who come jumping over the doorstep and make their master's house full of violent behaviour and deceit.
9 En ce jour-là, je châtierai tous ceux qui sautent par-dessus le seuil, Ceux qui remplissent de violence et de fraude la maison de leur maître.

9 Asimismo haré visitación en aquel día sobre todos los que saltan la puerta, los que hinchen de robo y de engaño las casas de sus señores.
9 Auch will ich zur selben Zeit die heimsuchen, so über die Schwelle springen, die ihres HERRN Haus füllen mit Rauben und Trügen.
10 And in that day, says the Lord, there will be the sound of a cry from the fish doorway, and an outcry from the new town, and a great thundering from the hills, and cries of grief from the people of the Hollow;
10 En ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel, Il y aura des cris à la porte des poissons, Des lamentations dans l'autre quartier de la ville, Et un grand désastre sur les collines.
10 An lá sin, a deir an Tiarna, cloisfear gáir ó Gheata na nIasc agus uallfartach ón mBaile Nua agus callán mór ó na cnoic.
10 Y habrá en aquel día, dice Jehová, voz de clamor desde la puerta del pescado, y aullido desde la segunda, y grande quebrantamiento desde los collados.
10 Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR, wird sich ein lautes Geschrei erheben von dem Fischtor her und ein Geheul von dem andern Teil der Stadt und ein großer Jammer von den Hügeln.
11 Because of the downfall of all the people of Canaan: all those who were weighted down with silver have been cut off.
11 Gémissez, habitants de Macthesch! Car tous ceux qui trafiquent sont détruits, Tous les hommes chargés d'argent sont exterminés.

11 Aullad, moradores de Mactes, porque todo el pueblo mercader es destruido; talado son todos los que traían dinero.
11 Heulet, die ihr in der Mühle wohnt; denn das ganze Krämervolk ist dahin, und alle, die Geld sammeln, sind ausgerottet.
12 And it will come about at that time, that I will go searching through Jerusalem with lights; and I will send punishment on the men who have become like wine stored over-long, who say to themselves, The Lord will not do good and will not do evil.
12 En ce temps-là, je fouillerai Jérusalem avec des lampes, Et je châtierai les hommes qui reposent sur leurs lies, Et qui disent dans leur coeur: L'Éternel ne fait ni bien ni mal.
12 An tráth sin cuardóidh mé Iarúsailéim le lóchrainn agus smachtóidh mé na daoine sin atá ag dul i raimhre ar a ndeascadh agus a deir ina gcroí istigh: ‘Ní féidir leis an Tiarna dada a dhéanamh, olc maith ná donaí.’
12 Y será en aquel tiempo, que yo escudriñaré á Jerusalem con candiles, y haré visitación sobre los hombres que están sentados sobre sus heces, los cuales dicen en su corazón: Jehová ni hará bien ni mal.
12 Zur selben Zeit will ich Jerusalem mit Leuchten durchsuchen und will heimsuchen die Leute, die auf ihren Hefen liegen und sprechen in ihrem Herzen: Der HERR wird weder Gutes noch Böses tun.
13 And their wealth will be violently taken away, and their houses will be made waste: they will go on building houses and never living in them, and planting vine-gardens but not drinking the wine from them.
13 Leurs biens seront au pillage, Et leurs maisons seront dévastées; Ils auront bâti des maisons, qu'ils n'habiteront plus, Ils auront planté des vignes, dont ils ne boiront plus le vin.
13 Mar sin de déanfar slad ar a maoin agus léirscrios ar a dtithe. Fiú má thógann siad tithe ní chónóidh siad iontu, agus má chuireann siad fíniúna ní ólfaidh siad a bhfíon.” Lá an Tiarna
13 Será por tanto saqueada su hacienda, y sus casas asoladas: y edificarán casas, mas no las habitarán; y plantarán viñas, mas no beberán el vino de ellas.
13 Und ihre Güter sollen zum Raub werden und ihre Häuser zur Wüste. Sie werden Häuser bauen, und nicht darin wohnen; sie werden Weinberge pflanzen, und keinen Wein davon trinken.
14 The great day of the Lord is near, it is near and coming very quickly; the bitter day of the Lord is near, coming on more quickly than a man of war.
14 Le grand jour de l'Éternel est proche, Il est proche, il arrive en toute hâte; Le jour de l'Éternel fait entendre sa voix, Et le héros pousse des cris amers.
14 Tá lá mór an Tiarna in achmaireacht; tá sé sa chóngar agus é ag teacht faoi lánluas; ar lá an Tiarna tógfar gártha searbha; fiú an gaiscíoch, beidh sé ag glaoch ar chabhair.
14 Cercano está el día grande de Jehová, cercano y muy presuroso; voz amarga del Día de Jehová; gritará allí el valiente.
14 Des HERRN großer Tag ist nahe; er ist nahe und eilt sehr. Wenn das Geschrei vom Tage des HERRN kommen wird, so werden die Starken alsdann bitterlich schreien.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and sorrow, a day of wasting and destruction, a day of dark night and deep shade, a day of cloud and thick dark.
15 Ce jour est un jour de fureur, Un jour de détresse et d'angoisse, Un jour de ravage et de destruction, Un jour de ténèbres et d'obscurité, Un jour de nuées et de brouillards,
15 Lá díbheirge an lá sin, lá buartha agus angair, lá léirscriosta agus millte, lá dorchadais agus doiléire, lá scamall agus dúnéalta,
15 Día de ira aquel día, día de angustia y de aprieto, día de alboroto y de asolamiento, día de tiniebla y de oscuridad, día de nublado y de entenebrecimiento,
15 Denn dieser Tag ist ein Tag des Grimmes, ein Tag der Trübsal und Angst, ein Tag des Wetters und Ungestüms, ein Tag der Finsternis und Dunkels, ein Tag der Wolken und Nebel,
16 A day of sounding the horn and the war-cry against the walled towns and the high towers.
16 Un jour où retentiront la trompette et les cris de guerre Contre les villes fortes et les tours élevées.

16 Día de trompeta y de algazara, sobre las ciudades fuertes, y sobre las altas torres.
16 ein Tag der Posaune und Drommete wider die festen Städte und hohen Schlösser.
17 And I will send trouble on men so that they will go about like the blind, because they have done evil against the Lord: and their blood will be drained out like dust, and their strength like waste.
17 Je mettrai les hommes dans la détresse, Et ils marcheront comme des aveugles, Parce qu'ils ont péché contre l'Éternel; Je répandrai leur sang comme de la poussière, Et leur chair comme de l'ordure.
17 Agus cuirfidh mé an oiread sin anró ar dhaoine go mbeidh siad ag amharcaíl rompu amhail daoine dalla, mar pheacaigh siad in aghaidh an Tiarna scaipfear a gcuid fola mar dheannach agus a gcuid feola mar aoileach.
17 Y atribularé los hombres, y andarán como ciegos, porque pecaron contra Jehová: y la sangre de ellos será derramada como polvo, y su carne como estiércol.
17 Ich will den Leuten bange machen, daß sie umhergehen sollen wie die Blinden, darum daß sie wider den HERRN gesündigt haben. Ihr Blut soll ausgeschüttet werden, als wäre es Staub, und ihr Leib als wäre es Kot.
18 Even their silver and their gold will not be able to keep them safe in the day of the Lord's wrath; but all the land will be burned up in the fire of his bitter wrath: for he will put an end, even suddenly, to all who are living in the land.
18 Ni leur argent ni leur or ne pourront les délivrer, Au jour de la fureur de l'Éternel; Par le feu de sa jalousie tout le pays sera consumé; Car il détruira soudain tous les habitants du pays.
18 Ní fhéadfaidh a gcuid airgid ná óir iad a shábháil. Ar lá dhíbheirg an Tiarna ídeofar an domhan go léir le tine a chuid éada. Cuirfidh sé deireadh, is ea deireadh dithneasach, le háitritheoirí uile an domhain.
18 Ni su plata ni su oro podrá librarlos en el día de la ira de Jehová; pues toda la tierra será consumida con el fuego de su celo: porque ciertamente consumación apresurada hará con todos los moradores de la tierra.
18 Es wird sie ihr Silber und Gold nicht erretten können am Tage des Zorns des HERRN, sondern das ganze Land soll durch das Feuer seines Eifers verzehrt werden; denn er wird plötzlich ein Ende machen mit allen, die im Lande wohnen.
