1 Now it came about in the seventh month that Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the king's seed, having with him ten men, came to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, in Mizpah; and they had a meal together in Mizpah.
1 Au septième mois, Ismaël, fils de Nethania, fils d'Élischama, de la race royale, vint avec des grands du roi et dix hommes auprès de Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, à Mitspa. Là, ils mangèrent ensemble à Mitspa.

1 Y ACONTECIO en el mes séptimo, que vino Ismael hijo de Nethanías, hijo de Elisama, de la simiente real, y algunos príncipes del rey, y diez hombres con él, á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam en Mizpa; y comieron pan juntos allí en Mizpa.
1 Aber im siebenten Monat kam Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, des Sohnes Elisamas, aus königlichem Stamm, einer von den Obersten des Königs, und zehn Männer mit ihm zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, gen Mizpa und sie aßen daselbst zu Mizpa miteinander.
2 Then Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men who were with him, got up, and attacking Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, with the sword, put to death him whom the king of Babylon had made ruler over the land.
2 Alors Ismaël, fils de Nethania, se leva avec les dix hommes dont il était accompagné, et ils frappèrent avec l'épée Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan; il fit ainsi mourir celui que le roi de Babylone avait établi gouverneur du pays.
2 d'éirigh Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá ina sheasamh agus an deichniúr fear a bhí ina fhochair. Thug siad faoi Ghadailiá mac Aichíceám, mac Sheáfán, lena gclaimhte agus mharaigh siad an té dá ndearna rí na Bablóine rialtóir os cionn na tíre.
2 Y levantóse Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y los diez hombres que con él estaban, é hirieron á cuchillo á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Saphán, matando así á aquel á quien el rey de Babilonia había puesto sobre la tierra.
2 Und Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, macht sich auf samt den zehn Männern, die bei ihm waren und schlugen Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, des Sohnes Saphans, mit dem Schwert zu Tode, darum daß ihn der König zu Babel über das Land gesetzt hatte;
3 And Ishmael put to death all the Jews who were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldaean men of war.
3 Ismaël tua encore tous les juifs qui étaient auprès de Guedalia à Mitspa, et les Chaldéens qui se trouvaient là, les gens de guerre.
3 Agus mharaigh Ísmeáéil freisin a raibh de Ghiúdaigh a bhí ag an bhfleá, in éineacht leis na Caildéigh a tharla a bheith ansin i Miozpá [fir chogaidh iadsan].
3 Asimismo hirió Ismael á todos los Judíos que estaban con él, con Gedalías en Mizpa, y á los soldados Caldeos que allí se hallaron.
3 dazu alle Juden, die bei Gedalja waren zu Mizpa, und die Chaldäer, die sie daselbst fanden, alle Kriegsleute, schlug Ismael.
4 Now on the second day after he had put Gedaliah to death, when no one had knowledge of it,
4 Le second jour après l'assassinat de Guedalia, tandis que personne n'en savait rien,
4 Tharla an lá tar éis marú Ghadailiá, ach gan a fhios ag duine ar bith,
4 Sucedió además, un día después que mató á Gedalías, cuando nadie lo sabía aún,

5 Some people came from Shechem, from Shiloh and Samaria, eighty men, with the hair of their faces cut off and their clothing out of order, and with cuts on their bodies, and in their hands meal offerings and perfumes which they were taking to the house of the Lord.
5 il arriva de Sichem, de Silo et de Samarie, quatre-vingts hommes, qui avaient la barbe rasée et les vêtements déchirés, et qui s'étaient fait des incisions; ils portaient des offrandes et de l'encens, pour les présenter à la maison de l'Éternel.
5 go dtáinig ceithre scór fear ó Sheicim, ó Shileo agus ón tSamáir, a raibh a bhféasóga bearrtha, a n‑éadaí stróicthe agus a gcneas gearrtha; bhí íobairtí agus túis ina lámha á dtabhairt acu go Teampall an Tiarna.
5 Que venían unos hombres de Sichêm y de Silo y de Samaria, ochenta hombres, raída la barba, y rotas las ropas, y arañados y traían en sus manos ofrenda y perfume para llevar á la casa de Jehová.
5 kamen achtzig Männer von Sichem, von Silo und von Samaria und hatten die Bärte abgeschoren und ihre Kleider zerrissen und sich zerritzt und trugen Speisopfer und Weihrauch mit sich, daß sie es brächten zum Hause des HERRN.
6 And Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, went out from Mizpah with the purpose of meeting them, weeping on his way: and it came about that when he was face to face with them he said, Come to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam.
6 Ismaël, fils de Nethania, sortit de Mitspa au-devant d'eux; il marchait en pleurant. Lorsqu'il les rencontra, il leur dit: Venez vers Guedalia, fils d'Achikam.
6 Chuaigh Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá amach as Miozpá ina n‑araicis ag gol dóibh ag teacht. Nuair a casadh orthu é dúirt sé leo: “Tagaigí go Gadailiá mac Aichíceám.”
6 Y de Mizpa salióles al encuentro, llorando, Ismael hijo de Nethanías: y aconteció que como los encontró, díjoles: Venid á Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam.
6 Und Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, ging heraus von Mizpa ihnen entgegen, ging daher und weinte. Als er nun an sie kam, sprach er zu ihnen: Ihr sollt zu Gedalja, dem Sohn Ahikams, kommen.
7 And when they came inside the town, Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and the men who were with him, put them to death and put their bodies into a deep hole.
7 Et quand ils furent au milieu de la ville, Ismaël, fils de Nethania, les égorgea et les jeta dans la citerne, avec l'aide des gens qui l'accompagnaient.
7 Ach níor luaithe i lár na cathrach iad ná gur mharaigh Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá iad, agus theilg isteach i dtobar iad - é féin agus a chuid fear.
7 Y fue que cuando llegaron al medio de la ciudad, Ismael hijo de Nethanías los degolló, y echólos en medio de un aljibe, él y los hombres que con él estaban.
7 Da sie aber mitten in die Stadt kamen, ermordete sie Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, und die Männer, so bei ihm waren, und warf sie in den Brunnen.
8 But there were ten men among them who said to Ishmael, Do not put us to death, for we have secret stores, in the country, of grain and oil and honey. So he did not put them to death with their countrymen.
8 Mais il se trouva parmi eux dix hommes, qui dirent à Ismaël: Ne nous fais pas mourir, car nous avons des provisions cachées dans les champs, du froment, de l'orge, de l'huile et du miel. Alors il les épargna, et ne les fit pas mourir avec leurs frères.
8 Bhí deichniúr fear orthu, áfach, a dúirt le hÍsmeáéil: “Ná maraigh sinne; tá stór bia i dtaisce againn faoin tuaith - cruithneacht agus eorna, ola agus mil.” Rinne sé anacal orthu, mar sin, agus níor mharaigh iad i measc a ndeartháireacha.
8 Mas entre aquellos fueron hallados diez hombres que dijeron á Ismael: No nos mates; porque tenemos en el campo tesoros de trigos, y cebadas, y aceite, y miel. Y dejólos, y no los mató entre sus hermanos.
8 Aber es waren zehn Männer darunter, die sprachen zu Ismael: Töte uns nicht; wir haben Vorrat im Acker liegen von Weizen, Gerste, Öl und Honig. Also ließ er ab und tötete sie nicht mit den andern.
9 Now the hole into which Ishmael had put the dead bodies of the men whom he had put to death, was the great hole which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha, king of Israel: and Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, made it full of the bodies of those who had been put to death.
9 La citerne dans laquelle Ismaël jeta tous les cadavres des hommes qu'il tua près de Guedalia est celle qu'avait construite le roi Asa, lorsqu'il craignait Baescha, roi d'Israël; c'est cette citerne qu'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, remplit de cadavres.
9 An tobar ar theilg Ísmeáéil corpáin na ndaoine uile a mharaigh sé, ba thobar mór é a thochail Ásá an rí ar eagla Bháiseá rí Iosrael. Lion Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá é leis an drong a maraíodh.
9 Y el aljibe en que echó Ismael todos los cuerpos de los hombres que hirió por causa de Gedalías, era el mismo que había hecho el rey Asa por causa de Baasa, rey de Israel: llenólo de muertos Ismael, hijo de Nethanías.
9 Der Brunnen aber, darein Ismael die Leichname der Männer warf, welche er hatte erschlagen samt dem Gedalja, ist der, den der König Asa machen ließ wider Baesa, den König Israels; den füllte Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, mit den Erschlagenen.
10 Then Ishmael took away as prisoners all the rest of the people who were in Mizpah, the king's daughters and all the people still in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, had put under the care of Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam: Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, took them away prisoners with the purpose of going over to the children of Ammon.
10 Ismaël fit prisonniers tous ceux qui restaient à Mitspa, les filles du roi et tous ceux du peuple qui y demeuraient, et que Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, avait confiés à Guedalia, fils d'Achikam; Ismaël, fils de Nethania, les emmena captifs, et partit pour passer chez les Ammonites.
10 Ansin rug Ísmeáéil leis an fuíoll uile den phobal a bhí i Miozpá, agus iníonacha an rí a d'fhág Nabúzaradán, ceann an gharda, faoi chúram Ghadailiá mac Aichíceám. Chuir Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá chun bóthair go moch ar a shlí anonn go dtí na hAmónaigh.
10 Después llevó Ismael cautivo á todo el resto del pueblo que estaba en Mizpa; á las hijas del rey, y á todo el pueblo que en Mizpa había quedado, el cual había Nabuzaradán capitán de la guardia encargado á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam. Llevólos pues cautivos Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y se fué para pasarse á los hijos de Ammón.
10 Und was übriges Volk war zu Mizpa, auch die Königstöchter, führte Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, gefangen weg samt allem übrigen Volk zu Mizpa, über welche Nebusaradan, der Hauptmann, hatte gesetzt Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, und zog hin und wollte hinüber zu den Kindern Ammon.
11 But when Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the armed forces who were with him, had news of all the evil which Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, had done,
11 Jochanan, fils de Karéach, et tous les chefs des troupes qui étaient avec lui, furent informés de tout le mal qu'avait fait Ismaël, fils de Nethania.
11 Nuair a chuala Ióchánán mac Cháiréach agus ceannairí uile an airm a bhí ina fhochair faoi gach olc dá ndearna Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá,
11 Y oyó Johanán hijo de Carea, y todos los príncipes de la gente de guerra que estaban con él, todo el mal que había hecho Ismael, hijo de Nethanías.
11 Da aber Johanan, der Sohn Kareahs, erfuhr und alle Hauptleute des Heeres, die bei ihm waren, all das Übel, das Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, begangen hatte,
12 They took their men and went out to make war on Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and they came face to face with him by the great waters in Gibeon.
12 Ils prirent tous les hommes, et se mirent en marche pour attaquer Ismaël, fils de Nethania. Ils le trouvèrent près des grandes eaux de Gabaon.
12 bhailigh siad a gcuid fear agus chuir chun bóthair chun Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá a ionsaí. Tháinig siad suas leis lámh leis an Linn Mhór i nGibeón.
12 Entonces tomaron todos los hombres, y fueron á pelear con Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y halláronlo junto á Aguas-muchas, que es en Gabaón.
12 nahmen sie zu sich alle Männer und zogen hin, wider Ismael, den Sohn Nethanjas, zu streiten; und trafen ihn an dem großen Wasser bei Gibeon.
13 Now when all the people who were with Ishmael saw Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces with him, then they were glad.
13 Quand tout le peuple qui était avec Ismaël vit Jochanan, fils de Karéach, et tous les chefs des troupes avec lui, il en eut de la joie;
13 Nuair a chonaic a raibh de dhaoine i bhfochair Ísmeáéil, Ióchánán mac Cháiréach chucu agus ceannairí uile an airm in éineacht leis, bhí siad tharstu féin le teann lúcháire.
13 Y aconteció que como todo el pueblo que estaba con Ismael vió á Johanán hijo de Carea, y á todos los príncipes de la gente de guerra que estaban con él, se alegraron.
13 Da nun alles Volk, so bei Ismael war, sah den Johanan, den Sohn Kareahs, und alle die Hauptleute des Heeres, die bei ihm waren, wurden sie froh.
14 And all the people whom Ishmael had taken away prisoners from Mizpah, turning round, came back and went to Johanan, the son of Kareah.
14 et tout le peuple qu'Ismaël avait emmené de Mitspa se retourna, et vint se joindre à Jochanan, fils de Karéach.
14 An pobal uile a rug Ísmeáéil i láimh as Miozpá, d'iompaigh siad timpeall agus chuaigh anonn go Ióchánán mac Cháiréach.
14 Y todo el pueblo que Ismael había traído cautivo de Mizpa, tornáronse, y volvieron, y fuéronse á Johanán hijo de Carea.
14 Und das ganze Volk, das Ismael hatte von Mizpa weggeführt, wandte sich um und kehrte wiederum zu Johanan, dem Sohne Kareahs.
15 But Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, got away from Johanan, with eight men, and went to the children of Ammon.
15 Mais Ismaël, fils de Nethania, se sauva avec huit hommes devant Jochanan, et alla chez les Ammonites.
15 D'éalaigh Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá ó Ióchánán mar aon le hochtar fear agus theith go dtí na hAmónaigh.
15 Mas Ismael hijo de Nethanías se escapó delante de Johanán con ocho hombres, y se fué á los hijos de Ammón.
15 Aber Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, entrann dem Johanan mit acht Männern, und zog zu den Kindern Ammon.
16 Then Johanan, the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces who were with him, took all the rest of the people whom Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, had made prisoners, after he had put to death Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the people from Mizpah, that is, the men of war and the women and the children and the unsexed servants, whom he had taken back with him from Gibeon:
16 Jochanan, fils de Karéach, et tous les chefs des troupes qui étaient avec lui, prirent tout le reste du peuple, et le délivrèrent des mains d'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, lorsqu'il l'emmenait de Mitspa, après avoir tué Guedalia, fils d'Achikam. Hommes de guerre, femmes, enfants, eunuques, Jochanan les ramena depuis Gabaon.
16 Ansin chruinnigh Ióchánán mac Cháiréach, agus ceannairí uile an airm a bhí ina fhochair, na daoine uile a thóg Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá leis as Miozpá tar éis dó Gadailiá mac Aichíceám a mharú: fir, mná agus leanaí, agus coillteáin a thug Ióchánán ar ais ó Ghibeón.
16 Y Johanán hijo de Carea, y todos los príncipes de la gente de guerra que con él estaban, tomaron todo el resto del pueblo que habían recobrado de Ismael hijo de Nethanías, de Mizpa, después que hirió á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam: hombres de guerra, y mujeres, y niños, y los eunucos que Johanán había hecho tornar de Gabaón;
16 Und Johanan, der Sohn Kareahs, samt allen Hauptleuten des Heeres, so bei ihm waren, nahmen all das übrige Volk, so sie wiedergebracht hatten von Ismael, dem Sohn Nethanjas, aus Mizpa zu sich (weil Gedalja, der Sohn Ahikams, erschlagen war), nämlich die Kriegsmänner, Weiber und die Kinder und Kämmerer, so sie von Gibeon hatten wiedergebracht;
17 And they went and were living in the resting-place of Chimham, which is near Beth-lehem on the way into Egypt,
17 Ils se mirent en marche, et s'arrêtèrent à l'hôtellerie de Kimham près de Bethléhem, pour se retirer ensuite en Égypte,
17 Chuir siad chun bóthair agus lig scíth ag Can Cimeam in aice le Beithil. Bhí rompu déanamh ar an Éigipt
17 Y fueron y habitaron en Geruth-chimham, que es cerca de Bethlehem, á fin de partir y meterse en Egipto,
17 und zogen hin und kehrten ein zur Herberge Chimhams, die bei Bethlehem war, und wollten nach Ägypten ziehen vor den Chaldäern.
18 Because of the Chaldaeans: for they were in fear of them because Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, had put to death Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had made ruler over the land.
18 loin des Chaldéens dont ils avaient peur, parce qu'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, avait tué Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, que le roi de Babylone avait établi gouverneur du pays.
18 i bhfad ó na Caildéigh a raibh eagla orthu rompu anois, mar gur mharaigh Ísmeáéil mac Natainiá Gadailiá mac Aichíceám dá ndearna rí na Bablóine rialtóir sa tír.
18 Por causa de los Caldeos: porque temían de ellos, por haber herido Ismael hijo de Nethanías á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, al cual el rey de Babilonia había puesto sobre la tierra.
18 Denn sie fürchteten sich vor ihnen, weil Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, Gedalja, den Sohn Ahikams, erschlagen hatte, den der König zu Babel über das Land gesetzt hatte.
