1 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, saying,

4 Porque así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel, acerca de las casas de esta ciudad, y de las casas de los reyes de Judá, derribadas con arietes y con hachas:
4 Denn so spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, von den Häusern dieser Stadt und von den Häusern der Könige Juda's, welche abgebrochen sind, Bollwerke zu machen zur Wehr.
5 ... and to make them full of the dead bodies of men whom I have put to death in my wrath and in my passion, and because of whose evil-doing I have kept my face covered from this town.
5 Quand on s'avancera pour combattre les Chaldéens, Et qu'elles seront remplies des cadavres des hommes Que je frapperai dans ma colère et dans ma fureur, Et à cause de la méchanceté desquels je cacherai ma face à cette ville;
5 rachaidh siad ag troid leis na Caildéigh, ach is ag líonadh na cathrach a bheidh siad le corpáin na ndaoine a leagfaidh mise ar lár i mo fheirg agus i m'fhraoch, [an dream] ar fholaigh mé m'aghaidh orthu mar gheall ar a n‑olcas.
5 (Porque vinieron para pelear con los Caldeos, para henchirlas de cuerpos de hombres muertos, á los cuales herí yo con mi furor y con mi ira, pues que escondí mi rostro de esta ciudad, a causa de toda su malicia:)
5 Und von denen, so hereingekommen sind, wider die Chaldäer zu streiten, daß sie diese füllen müssen mit Leichnamen der Menschen, welche ich in meinem Zorn und Grimm erschlagen will; denn ich habe mein Angesicht vor dieser Stadt verborgen um all ihrer Bosheit willen:
6 See, I will make it healthy and well again, I will even make them well; I will let them see peace and good faith in full measure.
6 Voici, je lui donnerai la guérison et la santé, je les guérirai, Et je leur ouvrirai une source abondante de paix et de fidélité.
6 Ach féach, brostóidh mise chucu biseach agus leigheas; leigheasfaidh mé iad agus cuirfidh mé in aithne dóibh iomláine na síochána agus na sábháilteachta.
6 He aquí que yo le hago subir sanidad y medicina; y los curaré, y les revelaré abundancia de paz y de verdad.
6 Siehe, ich will sie heilen und gesund machen und will ihnen Frieden und Treue die Fülle gewähren.
7 And I will let the fate of Judah and of Israel be changed, building them up as at first.
7 Je ramènerai les captifs de Juda et les captifs d'Israël, Et je les rétablirai comme autrefois.

8 And I will make them clean from all their sin, with which they have been sinning against me; I will have forgiveness for all their sins, with which they have been sinning against me, and with which they have done evil against me.
8 Je les purifierai de toutes les iniquités qu'ils ont commises contre moi, Je leur pardonnerai toutes les iniquités par lesquelles ils m'ont offensé, Par lesquelles ils se sont révoltés contre moi.
8 Glanfaidh mé iad ón uile pheaca a rinne siad i mo aghaidhse; na peacaí lenar mhaslaigh siad mise agus lenar thug cúl liom, maithfidh mé iad uile dóibh.
8 Y los limpiaré de toda su maldad con que pecaron contra mí; y perdonaré todos sus pecados con que contra mí pecaron, y con que contra mí se rebelaron.
8 und will sie reinigen von aller Missetat, damit sie wider mich gesündigt haben, und will ihnen vergeben alle Missetaten, damit sie wider mich gesündigt und übertreten haben.
9 And this town will be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, who, hearing of all the good which I am doing for them, will be shaking with fear because of all the good and the peace which I am doing for it.
9 Cette ville sera pour moi un sujet de joie, de louange et de gloire, Parmi toutes les nations de la terre, Qui apprendront tout le bien que je leur ferai; Elles seront étonnées et émues de tout le bonheur Et de toute la postérité que je leur accorderai.
9 Agus beidh Iarúsailéim ina cúis athais domsa, ina cúis maíte agus onóra i láthair a bhfuil de chiníocha ar talamh; nuair a chluinfidh siadsan an uile mhaith atá á dhéanamh agam tiocfaidh eagla agus uamhan orthu mar gheall ar an uile shéan agus síocháin a sholáthraím di.’
9 Y seráme á mí por nombre de gozo, de alabanza y de gloria, entre todas las gentes de la tierra, que habrán oído todo el bien que yo les hago; y temerán y temblarán de todo el bien y de toda la paz que yo les haré.
9 Und das soll mir ein fröhlicher Name, Ruhm und Preis sein unter allen Heiden auf Erden, wenn sie hören werden all das Gute, das ich ihnen tue. Und sie werden sich verwundern und entsetzen über all dem Guten und über all dem Frieden, den ich ihnen geben will.
10 This is what the Lord has said: There will again be sounding in this place, of which you say, It is a waste, without man and without beast; even in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem which are waste and unpeopled, without man and without beast,
10 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: On entendra encore dans ce lieu Dont vous dites: Il est désert, il n'y a plus d'hommes, plus de bêtes; On entendra dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, Dévastées, privées d'hommes, d'habitants, de bêtes,
10 Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘San áit seo, a deir tusa: Is uaigneach é gan duine ná ainmhí; i mbailte Iúdá agus i sráideanna briste Iarúsailéim mar nach bhfuil duine ná ainmhí, cluinfear arís
10 Así ha dicho Jehová: En este lugar, del cual decís que está desierto sin hombres y sin animales, en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem, que están asoladas sin hombre y sin morador y sin animal, tiene de oirse aún,
10 So spricht der HERR: An diesem Ort, davon ihr sagt: Er ist wüst, weil weder Leute noch Vieh in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem bleiben, die so verwüstet sind, daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin sind,
11 Happy sounds, the voice of joy, the voice of the newly-married man and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who say, Give praise to the Lord of armies, for the Lord is good, for his mercy is unchanging for ever: the voices of those who go with praise into the house of the Lord. For I will let the land come back to its first condition, says the Lord.
11 Les cris de réjouissance et les cris d'allégresse, Les chants du fiancé et les chants de la fiancée, La voix de ceux qui disent: Louez l'Éternel des armées, Car l'Éternel est bon, car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! La voix de ceux qui offrent des sacrifices d'actions de grâces Dans la maison de l'Éternel. Car je ramènerai les captifs du pays, je les rétablirai comme autrefois, Dit l'Éternel.
11 guth na lúcháire agus an ghairdeachais, glórtha an fhir nuaphósta agus na brídeoige, agus an dream a bheir íobairtí buíochais go Teampall an Tiarna ag gabháil foinn: Molaigí Tiarna na Slua, óir is maith é an Tiarna, óir maireann a bhuanghrá go brách. “Óir atógfaidh mé an tír seo mar an gcéad uair. Fógraíonn an Tiarna é!’
11 Voz de gozo y voz de alegría, voz de desposado y voz de desposada, voz de los que digan: Alabad á Jehová de los ejércitos, porque Jehová es bueno, porque para siempre es su misericordia; voz de los que traigan alabanza á la casa de Jehová. Porque tornaré á traer la cautividad de la tierra como al principio, ha dicho Jehová.
11 wird man dennoch wiederum hören Geschrei von Freude und Wonne, die Stimme des Bräutigams und der Braut und die Stimme derer, so da sagen: "Danket dem HERRN Zebaoth, denn er ist freundlich, und seine Güte währet ewiglich", wenn sie Dankopfer bringen zum Hause des HERRN. Denn ich will des Landes Gefängnis wenden wie von Anfang, spricht der HERR.
12 This is what the Lord of armies has said: Again there will be in this place, which is a waste, without man and without beast, and in all its towns, a resting-place where the keepers of sheep will make their flocks take rest.
12 Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Il y aura encore dans ce lieu Qui est désert, sans hommes ni bêtes, Et dans toutes ses villes, Il y aura des demeures pour les bergers Faisant reposer leurs troupeaux.
12 Is mar seo a deir Tiarna na Slua: ‘San áit seo, san fhásach seo gan duine ná ainmhí agus ina bhailte uile, beidh tailte féaraigh arís, áit a gcuirfidh aoirí a dtréada ina luí.
12 Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: En este lugar desierto, sin hombre y sin animal, y en todas sus ciudades, aun habrá cabañas de pastores que hagan tener majada á ganados.
12 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: An diesem Ort, der so wüst ist, daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin sind, und in allen seinen Städten werden dennoch wiederum Wohnungen sein der Hirten, die da Herden weiden.
13 In the towns of the hill-country, in the towns of the lowland, and in the towns of the South and in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, the flocks will again go under the hand of him who is numbering them, says the Lord.
13 Dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes de la plaine, Dans les villes du midi, Dans le pays de Benjamin et aux environs de Jérusalem, Et dans les villes de Juda, Les brebis passeront encore sous la main de celui qui les compte, Dit l'Éternel.
13 I mbailte uile na nArdán, ar an Achréidh agus sa Neigib, i ndúiche Bhiniáimin, sna ceantair timpeall Iarúsailéim agus i mbailte Iúdá, imeoidh na tréada arís faoi lámha an té a áiríonn iad. Fógraíonn an Tiarna é.
13 En las ciudades de las montañas, en las ciudades de los campos, y en las ciudades del mediodía, y en tierra de Benjamín, y alrededor de Jerusalem y en las ciudades de Judá, aun pasarán ganados por las manos de los contadores, ha dicho Jehová.
13 In Städten auf den Gebirgen und in Städten in Gründen und in Städten gegen Mittag, im Lande Benjamin und um Jerusalem her und in Städten Juda's sollen dennoch wiederum die Herden gezählt aus und ein gehen, spricht der HERR.
14 See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will give effect to the good word which I have said about the people of Israel and the people of Judah.
14 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où j'accomplirai la bonne parole Que j'ai dite sur la maison d'Israël et sur la maison de Juda.
14 Féach, tá na laethanta ag teacht - an Tiarna a labhraíonn - agus comhlíonfaidh mé an gheallúint a rinne mé do theach Iosrael agus do theach Iúdá:
14 He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que yo confirmaré la palabra buena que he hablado á la casa de Israel y á la casa de Judá.
14 Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR, daß ich das gnädige Wort erwecken will, welches ich dem Hause Israel und dem Hause Juda geredet habe.
15 In those days and at that time, I will let a Branch of righteousness come up for David; and he will be a judge in righteousness in the land.
15 En ces jours et en ce temps-là, Je ferai éclore à David un germe de justice; Il pratiquera la justice et l'équité dans le pays.
15 Sna laethanta sin agus san am sin cuirfidh mise d'fhiacha ar Bheangán fíréanta fás suas do Dháiví, agus déanfaidh sé breithiúnas agus ceart sa tír.
15 En aquellos días y en aquel tiempo haré producir á David Pimpollo de justicia, y hará juicio y justicia en la tierra.
15 In denselben Tagen und zu derselben Zeit will ich dem David ein gerechtes Gewächs aufgehen lassen, und er soll Recht und Gerechtigkeit anrichten auf Erden.
16 In those days, Judah will have salvation and Jerusalem will be safe: and this is the name which will be given to her: The Lord is our righteousness.
16 En ces jours-là, Juda sera sauvé, Jérusalem aura la sécurité dans sa demeure; Et voici comment on l'appellera: L'Éternel notre justice.
16 Sábháilfear Iúdá sna laethanta sin agus mairfidh Iarúsailéim i ndóchas. Agus is é seo an t‑ainm a thabharfar ar an gcathair: An Tiarna Ár bhFíréantacht.’
16 En aquellos días Judá será salvo, y Jerusalem habitará seguramente, y esto es lo que la llamarán: Jehová, justicia nuestra.
16 Zu derselben Zeit soll Juda geholfen werden und Jerusalem sicher wohnen, und man wird sie nennen: Der HERR unsre Gerechtigkeit.
17 For the Lord has said, David will never be without a man to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of Israel;
17 Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: David ne manquera jamais d'un successeur Assis sur le trône de la maison d'Israël;
17 “Óir is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Ní bheidh in easnamh ar Dháiví choíche sliochtach fireann a shuífidh i gcathaoir ríoga theach Iosrael.
17 Porque así ha dicho Jehová: No faltará á David varón que se siente sobre el trono de la casa de Israel;
17 Denn so spricht der HERR: Es soll nimmermehr fehlen, es soll einer von David sitzen auf dem Stuhl des Hauses Israel.
18 And the priests and the Levites will never be without a man to come before me, offering burned offerings and perfumes and meal offerings and offerings of beasts at all times.
18 Les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, ne manqueront jamais devant moi de successeurs Pour offrir des holocaustes, brûler de l'encens avec les offrandes, Et faire des sacrifices tous les jours.
18 Ní bheidh in easnamh ach an oiread ar shagairt na Léivíteach sliochtach fireann a sheasfaidh i mo láthairse a ofráil íobairte loiscthe, a loscadh abhlainne agus a ofráil íobairte gach lá.’ ”
18 Y de los sacerdotes y Levitas no faltará varón de mi presencia que ofrezca holocausto, y encienda presente, y que haga sacrificio todos los días.
18 Desgleichen soll's nimmermehr fehlen, es sollen Priester und Leviten sein vor mir, die da Brandopfer tun und Speisopfer anzünden und Opfer schlachten ewiglich.
19 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

20 The Lord has said: If it is possible for my agreement of the day and the night to be broken, so that day and night no longer come at their fixed times,
20 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Si vous pouvez rompre mon alliance avec le jour Et mon alliance avec la nuit, En sorte que le jour et la nuit ne soient plus en leur temps,
20 “Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Dá bhféadfá mo chonradh lae a bhriseadh agus mo chonradh oíche ionas nach mbeadh lá ná oíche ina n‑am féin,
20 Así ha dicho Jehová: Si pudieres invalidar mi concierto con el día y mi concierto con la noche, por manera que no haya día ni noche á su tiempo,
20 So spricht der HERR: Wenn mein Bund aufhören wird mit Tag und Nacht, daß nicht Tag und Nacht sei zu seiner Zeit,
21 Then my agreement with my servant David may be broken, so that he no longer has a son to take his place on the seat of the kingdom; and my agreement with the Levites, the priests, my servants.
21 Alors aussi mon alliance sera rompue avec David, mon serviteur, En sorte qu'il n'aura point de fils régnant sur son trône, Et mon alliance avec les Lévites, les sacrificateurs, qui font mon service.
21 ansin d'fhéadfaí freisin mo chonradh le Dáiví mo shearbhónta a bhriseadh ionas nach mbeadh mac aige le rialú ina chathaoir ríoga, agus mar an gcéanna leis na sagairt Léivíteacha is searbhóntaí domsa.
21 Podráse también invalidar mi pacto con mi siervo David, para que deje de tener hijo que reine sobre su trono, y con los Levitas y sacerdotes, mis ministros.
21 so wird auch mein Bund aufhören mit meinem Knechte David, daß er nicht einen Sohn habe zum König auf seinem Stuhl, und mit den Leviten und Priestern, meinen Dienern.
22 As it is not possible for the army of heaven to be numbered, or the sand of the sea measured, so will I make the seed of my servant David, and the Levites my servants.
22 De même qu'on ne peut compter l'armée des cieux, Ni mesurer le sable de la mer, De même je multiplierai la postérité de David, mon serviteur, Et les Lévites qui font mon service.
22 Mar nach féidir slua neimhe a áireamh ná gaineamh na farraige a thomhas, is mar sin a mhéadóidh mise sliocht Dháiví mo shearbhónta agus na Léivítigh, a dhéanann [mar aon leis na hoidhrí seo] freastal orm.’ ”
22 Como no puede ser contado el ejército del cielo, ni la arena de la mar se puede medir, así multiplicaré la simiente de David mi siervo, y los Levitas que á mí ministran.
22 Wie man des Himmels Heer nicht zählen noch den Sand am Meer messen kann, also will ich mehren den Samen Davids, meines Knechtes, und die Leviten, die mir dienen.
23 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

23 Y fué palabra de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:
23 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia und sprach:
24 Have you taken note of what these people have said, The two families, which the Lord took for himself, he has given up? This they say, looking down on my people as being, in their eyes, no longer a nation.
24 N'as-tu pas remarqué ce que disent ces gens: Les deux familles que l'Éternel avait choisies, il les a rejetées? Ainsi ils méprisent mon peuple, Au point de ne plus le regarder comme une nation.
24 “Nár thug tusa faoi deara céard deir an pobal seo: ‘An dá mhuintir a thogh an Tiarna theilg sé uaidh anois iad’? Mar seo a tharcaisníonn siad mo mhuintir ionas nach náisiún níos mó iad ina láthair.
24 ¿No has echado de ver lo que habla este pueblo diciendo: Dos familias que Jehová escogiera ha desechado? y han tenido en poco mi pueblo, hasta no tenerlos más por nación.
24 Hast du nicht gesehen, was dies Volk redet und spricht: "Hat doch der HERR auch die zwei Geschlechter verworfen, welche er auserwählt hatte"; und lästern mein Volk, als sollten sie nicht mehr mein Volk sein.
25 The Lord has said, If I have not made day and night, and if the limits of heaven and earth have not been fixed by me,
25 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Si je n'ai pas fait mon alliance avec le jour et avec la nuit, Si je n'ai pas établi les lois des cieux et de la terre,
25 Is mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Murar chruthaigh mise lá agus oíche agus murar reachtaigh mé ordú neimhe agus talún,
25 Así ha dicho Jehová: Si no permaneciere mi concierto con el día y la noche, si yo no he puesto las leyes del cielo y la tierra,
25 So spricht der HERR: Halte ich meinen Bund nicht Tag und Nacht noch die Ordnungen des Himmels und der Erde,
26 Then I will give up caring for the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will let their fate be changed and will have mercy on them.
26 Alors aussi je rejetterai la postérité de Jacob et de David, mon serviteur, Et je ne prendrai plus dans sa postérité ceux qui domineront Sur les descendants d'Abraham, d'Isaac et de Jacob. Car je ramènerai leurs captifs, et j'aurai pitié d'eux.
26 más ea, teilgim uaim sliocht Iacóib agus Dháiví mo shearbhónta agus ní thoghfaidh mé aon rialtóir dá shliocht le bheith ina rí ar oidhrí Abrahám, Íosác agus Iacóib! Óir cuirfidh mé an rath arís orthu agus glacfaidh mé trua dóibh.’ ”
26 También desecharé la simiente de Jacob, y de David mi siervo, para no tomar de su simiente quien sea señor sobre la simiente de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Jacob. Porque haré volver su cautividad, y tendré de ellos misericordia.
26 so will ich auch verwerfen den Samen Jakobs und Davids, meines Knechtes, daß ich nicht aus ihrem Samen nehme, die da herrschen über den Samen Abrahams, Isaaks und Jakobs. Denn ich will ihr Gefängnis wenden und mich über sie erbarmen.
