1 Who would have had faith in the word which has come to our ears, and to whom had the arm of the Lord been unveiled?

2 For his growth was like that of a delicate plant before him, and like a root out of a dry place: he had no grace of form, to give us pleasure;

3 Méprisé et abandonné des hommes, Homme de douleur et habitué à la souffrance, Semblable à celui dont on détourne le visage, Nous l'avons dédaigné, nous n'avons fait de lui aucun cas.

8 Er aber ist aus Angst und Gericht genommen; wer will seines Lebens Länge ausreden? Denn er ist aus dem Lande der Lebendigen weggerissen, da er um die Missetat meines Volkes geplagt war.
9 And they put his body into the earth with sinners, and his last resting-place was with the evil-doers, though he had done no wrong, and no deceit was in his mouth.

10 And the Lord was pleased ... see a seed, long life, ... will do well in his hand. ...
10 Il a plu à l'Éternel de le briser par la souffrance... Après avoir livré sa vie en sacrifice pour le péché, Il verra une postérité et prolongera ses jours; Et l'oeuvre de l'Éternel prospérera entre ses mains.

10 Con todo eso Jehová quiso quebrantarlo, sujetándole á padecimiento. Cuando hubiere puesto su vida en expiación por el pecado, verá linaje, vivirá por largos días, y la voluntad de Jehová será en su mano prosperada.
10 Aber der HERR wollte ihn also zerschlagen mit Krankheit. Wenn er sein Leben zum Schuldopfer gegeben hat, so wird er Samen haben und in die Länge leben, und des HERRN Vornehmen wird durch seine Hand fortgehen.

11 Darum, daß seine Seele gearbeitet hat, wird er seine Lust sehen und die Fülle haben. Und durch seine Erkenntnis wird er, mein Knecht, der Gerechte, viele gerecht machen; denn er trägt ihr Sünden.
12 For this cause he will have a heritage with the great, and he will have a part in the goods of war with the strong, because he gave up his life, and was numbered with the evil-doers; taking on himself the sins of the people, and making prayer for the wrongdoers.
12 C'est pourquoi je lui donnerai sa part avec les grands; Il partagera le butin avec les puissants, Parce qu'il s'est livré lui-même à la mort, Et qu'il a été mis au nombre des malfaiteurs, Parce qu'il a porté les péchés de beaucoup d'hommes, Et qu'il a intercédé pour les coupables.

12 Por tanto yo le daré parte con los grandes, y con los fuertes repartirá despojos; por cuanto derramó su vida hasta la muerte, y fué contado con los perversos, habiendo él llevado el pecado de muchos y orado por los transgresores.
12 Darum will ich ihm große Menge zur Beute geben, und er soll die Starken zum Raube haben, darum daß er sein Leben in den Tod gegeben hat und den Übeltätern gleich gerechnet ist und er vieler Sünde getragen hat und für die Übeltäter gebeten.
