2 I see that you are able to do every thing, and to give effect to all your designs.

3 Who is this who makes dark the purpose of God by words without knowledge? For I have been talking without knowledge about wonders not to be searched out.
3 Quel est celui qui a la folie d'obscurcir mes desseins? -Oui, j'ai parlé, sans les comprendre, De merveilles qui me dépassent et que je ne conçois pas.
3 “Cé hé seo a cheileann comhairle Le briathar gan eolas?” Uime sin a dúirt mé nithe nár thuig mé, Nithe ró-iontacha narbh eol dom iad.
3 ¿Quién es el que oscurece el consejo sin ciencia? Por tanto yo denunciaba lo que no entendía; Cosas que me eran ocultas, y que no las sabía.
3 "Wer ist der, der den Ratschluß verhüllt mit Unverstand?" Darum bekenne ich, daß ich habe unweise geredet, was mir zu hoch ist und ich nicht verstehe.
4 Give ear to me, and I will say what is in my mind; I will put questions to you, and you will give me the answers.
4 Écoute-moi, et je parlerai; Je t'interrogerai, et tu m'instruiras.
4 Éist, le do thoil, agus labhróidh mé; “Cuirfidh mise ceist, agus tabhairse dom an t‑eolas.”
4 Oye te ruego, y hablaré; Te preguntaré, y tú me enseñarás.

5 Word of you had come to my ears, but now my eye has seen you.

6 For this cause I give witness that what I said is false, and in sorrow I take my seat in the dust.

7 And it came about, after he had said these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, I am very angry with you and your two friends, because you have not said what is right about me, as my servant Job has.
7 Après que l'Éternel eut adressé ces paroles à Job, il dit à Éliphaz de Théman: Ma colère est enflammée contre toi et contre tes deux amis, parce que vous n'avez pas parlé de moi avec droiture comme l'a fait mon serviteur Job.

7 Y aconteció que después que habló Jehová estas palabras á Job, Jehová dijo á Eliphaz Temanita: Mi ira se encendió contra ti y tus dos compañeros: porque no habéis hablado por mí lo recto, como mi siervo Job.
7 Da nun der HERR mit Hiob diese Worte geredet hatte, sprach er zu Eliphas von Theman: Mein Zorn ist ergrimmt über dich und deine zwei Freunde; denn ihr habt nicht recht von mir geredet wie mein Knecht Hiob.
8 And now, take seven oxen and seven sheep, and go to my servant Job, and give a burned offering for yourselves, and my servant Job will make prayer for you, that I may not send punishment on you; because you have not said what is right about me, as my servant Job has.
8 Prenez maintenant sept taureaux et sept béliers, allez auprès de mon serviteur Job, et offrez pour vous un holocauste. Job, mon serviteur, priera pour vous, et c'est par égard pour lui seul que je ne vous traiterai pas selon votre folie; car vous n'avez pas parlé de moi avec droiture, comme l'a fait mon serviteur Job.
8 Faighigí, dá bhrí sin, seacht dtarbh agus seacht reithe agus téigí go dtí mo shearbhónta Iób, agus ofrálaigí íobairt uileloiscthe ar bhur son féin; agus déanfaidh mo shearbhónta Iób guí ar bhur son. 8 Ahora pues, tomaos siete becerros y siete carneros, y andad á mi siervo Job, y ofreced holocausto por vosotros, y mi siervo Job orará por vosotros; porque de cierto á él atenderé para no trataros afrentosamente, por cuanto no habéis hablado por mí con rectitud, como mi siervo Job.
8 So nehmt nun sieben Farren und sieben Widder und geht hin zu meinem Knecht Hiob und opfert Brandopfer für euch und laßt meinen Knecht Hiob für euch bitten. Denn ich will ihn ansehen, daß ich an euch nicht tue nach eurer Torheit; denn ihr habt nicht recht von mir geredet wie mein Knecht Hiob.
9 And Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, went and did as the Lord had said. And the Lord gave ear to Job.
9 Éliphaz de Théman, Bildad de Schuach, et Tsophar de Naama allèrent et firent comme l'Éternel leur avait dit: et l'Éternel eut égard à la prière de Job.
9 D'imigh Eilífeaz óThéamán, Bildead ó Shiúach, agus Zófár ó Namát, leo d'fhonn déanamh mar a d'ordaigh an Tiarna, agus ghlac an Tiarna le guí Iób.
9 Fueron pues Eliphaz Temanita, y Bildad Suhita, y Sophar Naamatita, é hicieron como Jehová les dijo: y Jehová atendió á Job.
9 Da gingen hin Eliphas von Theman, Bildad von Suah und Zophar von Naema und taten, wie der HERR ihnen gesagt hatte; und der HERR sah an Hiob.
10 And the Lord made up to Job for all his losses, after he had made prayer for his friends: and all Job had before was increased by the Lord twice as much.
10 L'Éternel rétablit Job dans son premier état, quand Job eut prié pour ses amis; et l'Éternel lui accorda le double de tout ce qu'il avait possédé.

10 Und der HERR wandte das Gefängnis Hiobs, da er bat für seine Freunde. Und der Herr gab Hiob zwiefältig so viel, als er gehabt hatte.
11 And all his brothers and sisters, and his friends of earlier days, came and took food with him in his house; and made clear their grief for him, and gave him comfort for all the evil which the Lord had sent on him; and they all gave him a bit of money and a gold ring.
11 Les frères, les soeurs, et les anciens amis de Job vinrent tous le visiter, et ils mangèrent avec lui dans sa maison. Ils le plaignirent et le consolèrent de tous les malheurs que l'Éternel avait fait venir sur lui, et chacun lui donna un kesita et un anneau d'or.
11 A dheartháireacha go léir agus a dheirfiúracha go léir, agus gach duine a raibh aithne acu air roimhe sin tháinig siad go léir á fhiosrú, agus shuigh siad chun boird leis ina theach. Bhí siad go báúil cneasta leis, ag tabhairt sóláis dó de bharr an oilc go léir a thug an Tiarna sa mhullach air. Thug gach duine díobh bonn airgid agus fáinne óir dó.
11 Y vinieron é él todos sus hermanos, y todas sus hermanas, y todos los que antes le habían conocido, y comieron con él pan en su casa, y condoliéronse de él, y consoláronle de todo aquel mal que sobre él había Jehová traído; y cada uno de ellos le dió una pieza de moneda, y un zarcillo de oro.
11 Und es kamen zu ihm alle seine Brüder und alle seine Schwestern und alle, die ihn vormals kannten, und aßen mit ihm in seinem Hause und kehrten sich zu ihm und trösteten ihn über alles Übel, das der HERR hatte über ihn kommen lassen. Und ein jeglicher gab ihm einen schönen Groschen und ein goldenes Stirnband.
12 And the Lord's blessing was greater on the end of Job's life than on its start: and so he came to have fourteen thousand sheep and goats, and six thousand camels, and two thousand oxen, and a thousand she-asses.
12 Pendant ses dernières années, Job reçut de l'Éternel plus de bénédictions qu'il n'en avait reçu dans les premières. Il posséda quatorze mille brebis, six mille chameaux, mille paires de boeufs, et mille ânesses.

12 Y bendijo Jehová la postrimería de Job más que su principio; porque tuvo catorce mil ovejas, y seis mil camellos, y mil yuntas de bueyes, y mil asnas.
12 Und der HERR segnete hernach Hiob mehr denn zuvor, daß er kriegte vierzehntausend Schafe und sechstausend Kamele und tausend Joch Rinder und tausend Eselinnen.
13 And he had seven sons and three daughters.
13 Il eut sept fils et trois filles:

13 Und er kriegte sieben Söhne und drei Töchter;
14 And he gave the first the name of Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch;

15 And there were no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job in all the earth: and their father gave them a heritage among their brothers.
15 Il n'y avait pas dans tout le pays d'aussi belles femmes que les filles de Job. Leur père leur accorda une part d'héritage parmi leurs frères.
15 Agus ní raibh le fáil sa tír uile mná chomh sciamhach le hiníonacha Iób. Agus thug a n‑athair oidhreacht dóibh i measc a ndeartháireacha.
15 Y no se hallaron mujeres tan hermosas como las hijas de Job en toda la tierra: y dióles su padre herencia entre sus hermanos.
15 Und wurden nicht so schöne Weiber gefunden in allen Landen wie die Töchter Hiobs. Und ihr Vater gab ihnen Erbteil unter ihren Brüdern.
16 And after this Job had a hundred and forty years of life, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
16 Job vécut après cela cent quarante ans, et il vit ses fils et les fils de ses fils jusqu'à la quatrième génération.

16 Und Hiob lebte nach diesem hundert und vierzig Jahre, daß er sah Kinder und Kindeskinder bis ins vierte Glied.
17 And Job came to his end, old and full of days.
17 Et Job mourut âgé et rassasié de jours.
