1 Now on the twenty-fourth day of this month the children of Israel came together, taking no food and putting haircloth and dust on their bodies.

2 And the seed of Israel made themselves separate from all the men of other nations, publicly requesting forgiveness for their sins and the wrongdoing of their fathers.
2 Ceux qui étaient de la race d'Israël, s'étant séparés de tous les étrangers, se présentèrent et confessèrent leurs péchés et les iniquités de leurs pères.
2 Rinne an pór Iosraelach iad féin a dheighilt ón muintir dheoranta go léir; sheasaíodar ansiúd ag admháil a bpeacaí agus coireanna a sinsear.
2 Y habíase ya apartado la simiente de Israel de todos los extranjeros; y estando en pie, confesaron sus pecados, y las iniquidades de sus padres.
2 und sonderten den Samen Israels ab von allen fremden Kindern und traten hin und bekannten ihre Sünden und ihrer Väter Missetaten.
3 And for a fourth part of the day, upright in their places, they were reading from the book of the law of their God; and for a fourth part of the day they were requesting forgiveness and worshipping the Lord their God.
3 Lorsqu'ils furent placés, on lut dans le livre de la loi de l'Éternel, leur Dieu, pendant un quart de la journée; et pendant un autre quart ils confessèrent leurs péchés et se prosternèrent devant l'Éternel, leur Dieu.
3 Bhí cách ina seasamh i láthair chuí agus bhíodar ag léamh sleachta as leabhar dhlí an Tiarna a nDia ar feadh ceathrún den lá; bhíodar ag admháil a bpeacaí ar feadh ceathrún eile den lá, agus ag adhradh an Tiarna a nDia.
3 Y puestos de pie en su lugar, leyeron en el libro de la ley de Jehóva su Dios la cuarta parte del día, y la cuarta parte confesaron y adoraron á Jehóva su Dios.
3 Und standen auf an ihrer Stätte, und man las im Gesetzbuch des HERRN, ihres Gottes, ein Viertel des Tages; und ein Viertel bekannten sie und beteten an den HERRN, ihren Gott.
4 Then Jeshua, and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani took their places on the steps of the Levites, crying in a loud voice to the Lord their God.
4 Josué, Bani, Kadmiel, Schebania, Bunni, Schérébia, Bani et Kenani montèrent sur l'estrade des Lévites et crièrent à haute voix vers l'Éternel, leur Dieu.
4 Bhí Iéisiúa Bionúi, Caidmíéil, Seabainiá, Búiní, Séiribiá, Báiní agus Canáiní ag glaoch os ard chuig an Tiarna a nDia;
4 Levantáronse luego sobre la grada de los Levitas, Jesuá y Bunni, Serebias, Dani Cadmiel, Sebanías, Bani y Chênani, y clamaron en voz alta á Jehová su Dios.
4 Und auf dem hohen Platz für die Leviten standen auf Jesua, Bani, Kadmiel, Sebanja, Bunni, Serebja, Bani und Chenani und schrieen laut zu dem HERRN, ihrem Gott.
5 Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah said, Get up and give praise to the Lord your God for ever and ever. Praise be to your great name which is lifted up high over all blessing and praise.
5 Et les Lévites Josué, Kadmiel, Bani, Haschabnia, Schérébia, Hodija, Schebania et Pethachja, dirent: Levez-vous, bénissez l'Éternel, votre Dieu, d'éternité en éternité! Que l'on bénisse ton nom glorieux, qui est au-dessus de toute bénédiction et de toute louange!
5 agus dúirt na Léivítigh Iéisiúa, Caidmíéil, Báiní, Haisibniá, Séiribiá, Hóidíá, Seabainiá agus Patachiá: “Éirígí agus beannaígí an Tiarna bhur nDia trí shaol na saol. Moladh leat, a Thiarna ár nDia, Trí shaol na saol! Moladh le d'ainm glórmhar A sháraíonn gach moladh agus móradh.
5 Y dijeron los Levitas, Jesuá y Cadmiel, Bani, Hosabnías, Serebías, Odaías, Sebanías y Pethaía: Levantaos, bendecid á Jehová vuestro Dios desde el siglo hasta el siglo: y bendigan el nombre tuyo, glorioso y alto sobre toda bendición y alabanza.
5 Und die Leviten Jesua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hasabneja, Serebja, Hodia, Sebanja, Pethahja sprachen: Auf! Lobet den HERRN, euren Gott, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit, und man lobe den Namen deiner Herrlichkeit, der erhaben ist über allen Preis und Ruhm.
6 You are the Lord, even you only; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens with all their armies, the earth and all things in it, the seas and everything in them; and you keep them from destruction: and the armies of heaven are your worshippers.
6 C'est toi, Éternel, toi seul, qui as fait les cieux, les cieux des cieux et toute leur armée, la terre et tout ce qui est sur elle, les mers et tout ce qu'elles renferment. Tu donnes la vie à toutes ces choses, et l'armée des cieux se prosterne devant toi.
6 Tusa amháin is Tiarna; Rinne tusa na flaithis, flaithis na bhflaitheas, lena gcóiriú go léir, An talamh agus a torthaí go léir, Na farraigí agus a bhfuil ina gcrioslach. Chuir tú anam sna nithe sin go léir; Agus cromann sluaite na bhflaitheas os do chomhair.
6 Tú, oh Jehová, eres solo; tú hiciste los cielos, y los cielos de los cielos, y toda su milicia, la tierra y todo lo que está en ella, los mares y todo lo que hay en ellos; y tú vivificas todas estas cosas, y los ejércitos de los cielos te adoran.

8 You saw that his heart was true to you, and made an agreement with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Jebusite and the Girgashite, even to give it to his seed, and you have done what you said; for righteousness is yours:
8 Tu trouvas son coeur fidèle devant toi, tu fis alliance avec lui, et tu promis de donner à sa postérité le pays des Cananéens, des Héthiens, des Amoréens, des Phéréziens, des Jébusiens et des Guirgasiens. Et tu as tenu ta parole, car tu es juste.
8 Fuair tú dílis ó chroí os do chomhair é; Rinne tú conradh leis Go dtabharfa dó tír an Chanánaigh, An Hivigh agus an Amóraigh, An Phirizigh, an Iabúsaigh, an Ghiorgáisigh, Dó féin agus dá shliocht. Chomhlíon tú do ghealltanas, Óir is cóir é thú.
8 Y hallaste fiel su corazón delante de ti, é hiciste con él alianza para darle la tierra del Cananeo, del Hetheo, y del Amorreheo, y del Pherezeo, y del Jebuseo, y del Gergeseo, para darla á su simiente: y cumpliste tu palabra, porque eres justo.
8 und sein Herz treu vor dir gefunden und einen Bund mit ihm gemacht, seinem Samen zu geben das Land der Kanaaniter, Hethiter, Amoriter, Pheresiter, Jebusiter und Girgasiter; und hast dein Wort gehalten, denn du bist gerecht.
9 And you saw the trouble of our fathers in Egypt, and their cry came to your ears by the Red Sea;
9 Tu vis l'affliction de nos pères en Égypte, et tu entendis leurs cris vers la mer Rouge.
9 Chonaic tú cruachás ár sinsir san Éigipt; Chuala tú a nglao le hais Mhuir na nGiolcach;
9 Y miraste la aflicción de nuestos padres en Egipto, y oíste el clamor de ellos en el mar Bermejo;
9 Und du hast angesehen das Elend unsrer Väter in Ägypten und ihr Schreien erhört am Schilfmeer
10 And you did signs and wonders on Pharaoh and all his servants and all the people of his land; for you saw how cruel they were to them. So you got yourself a name as it is today.
10 Tu opéras des miracles et des prodiges contre Pharaon, contre tous ses serviteurs et contre tout le peuple de son pays, parce que tu savais avec quelle méchanceté ils avaient traité nos pères, et tu fis paraître ta gloire comme elle paraît aujourd'hui.
10 Rinne tú éachtaí agus míorúiltí in aghaidh Fhorainn, In aghaidh a shearbhóntaí go léir agus mhuintir uile a thíre; Óir bhí a fhios agat a theanntásaí a bhí siad leo. Thuill tú cáil duit féin a mhaireann fós inniu.
10 Y diste señales y maravillas en Faraón, y en todos sus siervos, y en todo el pueblo de su tierra; porque sabías que habían hecho soberbiamente contra ellos; é hicíste nombre grande, como este día.
10 und Zeichen und Wunder getan an Pharao und allen seinen Knechten und an allem Volk seines Landes, denn du erkanntest, daß sie stolz wider sie waren, und hast dir einen Namen gemacht, wie er jetzt ist.
11 By you the sea was parted before them, so that they went through the sea on dry land; and those who went after them went down into the deep, like a stone into great waters.
11 Tu fendis la mer devant eux, et ils passèrent à sec au milieu de la mer; mais tu précipitas dans l'abîme, comme une pierre au fond des eaux, ceux qui marchaient à leur poursuite.
11 Dheighil tú an mhuir rompu; Ghabh siad cosa tirime tríd an mórmhuir. Chaith tú an dream a bhí ar a dtóir isteach sa duibheagán, Mar a dhéanfaí cloch sa chuilithe.
11 Y dividiste la mar delante de ellos y pasaron por medio de ella en seco; y á sus perseguidores echaste en los profundos, como una piedra en grandes aguas.
11 Und hast das Meer vor ihnen zerrissen, daß sie mitten im Meer trocken hindurchgingen, und ihre Verfolger in die Tiefe geworfen wie Steine in mächtige Wasser
12 And you went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light on the way they were to go.
12 Tu les guidas le jour par une colonne de nuée, et la nuit par une colonne de feu qui les éclairait dans le chemin qu'ils avaient à suivre.
12 Mar cholún néil threoraigh tú iad sa lá Agus mar cholún tine san oíche, Leis an mbealach rompu a shoilsiú, An bealach a bhí acu le triall.
12 Y con columna de nube los guiaste de día, y con columna de fuego de noche, para alumbrarles el camino por donde habían de ir.
12 und sie geführt des Tages in einer Wolkensäule und des Nachts in einer Feuersäule, ihnen zu leuchten auf dem Weg, den sie zogen.
13 And you came down on Mount Sinai, and your voice came to them from heaven, giving them right decisions and true laws, good rules and orders:
13 Tu descendis sur la montagne de Sinaï, tu leur parlas du haut des cieux, et tu leur donnas des ordonnances justes, des lois de vérité, des préceptes et des commandements excellents.
13 Tháinig tú anuas ar Chnoc Shíonái, Agus labhair tú leo ó na flaithis. Thug tú dóibh treoracha córa, Dlíthe cinnte, Reachtanna agus aitheanta maithe.
13 Y sobre el monte de Sinaí descendiste, y hablaste con ellos desde el cielo, y dísteles juicios rectos, leyes verdaderas, y estatutos y mandamientos buenos:
13 Und bist herabgestiegen auf den Berg Sinai und hast mit ihnen vom Himmel geredet und gegeben ein wahrhaftiges Recht und ein rechtes Gesetz und gute Gebote und Sitten
14 And you gave them word of your holy Sabbath, and gave them orders and rules and a law, by the hand of Moses your servant:
14 Tu leur fis connaître ton saint sabbat, et tu leur prescrivis par Moïse, ton serviteur, des commandements, des préceptes et une loi.

14 Y notificásteles el sábado tuyo santo, y les prescribiste, por mano de Moisés tu siervo, mandamientos y estatutos y ley.
14 und deinen heiligen Sabbat ihnen kundgetan und Gebote, Sitten und Gesetz ihnen geboten durch deinen Knecht Mose,
15 And you gave them bread from heaven when they were in need, and made water come out of the rock for their drink, and gave them orders to go in and take for their heritage the land which your hand had been lifted up to give them.
15 Tu leur donnas, du haut des cieux, du pain quand ils avaient faim, et tu fis sortir de l'eau du rocher quand ils avaient soif. Et tu leur dis d'entrer en possession du pays que tu avais juré de leur donner.
15 Thug tú arán ó neamh dóibh lena n‑ocras a shásamh. Agus thug tú na caisí uisce ón gcarraig dóibh dá dtart. D'ordaigh tú dóibh gabháil isteach, Agus seilbh a thógail ar an talamh A mhionnaigh tú a thabharfá dóibh.
15 Y dísteles pan del cielo en su hambre, y en su sed les sacaste aguas de la piedra; y dijísteles que entrasen á poseer la tierra, por la cual alzaste tu mano que se la habías de dar.
15 und hast ihnen Brot vom Himmel gegeben, da sie hungerte, und Wasser aus dem Felsen lassen gehen, da sie dürstete, und mit ihnen geredet, sie sollten hineingehen und das Land einnehmen, darüber du deine Hand hobst, es ihnen zu geben.
16 But they and our fathers, in their pride, made their necks stiff, and gave no attention to your orders,
16 Mais nos pères se livrèrent à l'orgueil et raidirent leur cou. Ils n'écoutèrent point tes commandements,
16 Ach d'éirigh siadsan agus ár sinsir uaibhreach, Agus le barr ceanndáine chuir siad suas do d'aitheanta.
16 Mas ellos y nuestros padres hicieron soberbiamente, y endurecieron su cerviz, y no escucharon tus mandamientos,
16 Aber unsre Väter wurden stolz und halsstarrig, daß sie deinen Geboten nicht gehorchten,
17 And would not do them, and gave no thought to the wonders you had done among them; but made their necks stiff, and turning away from you, made a captain over themselves to take them back to their prison in Egypt: but you are a God of forgiveness, full of grace and pity, slow to wrath and great in mercy, and you did not give them up.
17 ils refusèrent d'obéir, et ils mirent en oubli les merveilles que tu avais faites en leur faveur. Ils raidirent leur cou; et, dans leur rébellion, ils se donnèrent un chef pour retourner à leur servitude. Mais toi, tu es un Dieu prêt à pardonner, compatissant et miséricordieux, lent à la colère et riche en bonté, et tu ne les abandonnas pas,
17 Dhiúltaíodar géilleadh, gan cuimhne acu ar na hiontais A rinne tú dóibh. D'éirigh siad ceanndána, Agus [rith sé leo] fiú filleadh ar an Éigipt, agus ar a ndaoirse. Ach is Dia maithiúnais thú, Lán de chineáltas agus de thrócaire, Mall chun feirge, gan teorainn le do bhuanghrá; Níor thréig tú iad.
17 Y no quisieron oir, ni se acordaron de tus maravillas que habías hecho con ellos; antes endurecieron su cerviz, y en su rebelión pensaron poner caudillo para volverse á su servidumbre. Tú empero, eres Dios de perdones, clemente y piadoso, tardo para la ira, y de mucha misericordia, que no los dejaste.
17 und weigerten sich zu hören und gedachten auch nicht an deine Wunder, die du an ihnen tatest; sondern sie wurden halsstarrig und warfen ihr Haupt auf, daß sie sich zurückwendeten zu Dienstbarkeit in ihrer Ungeduld. Aber du, mein Gott, vergabst und warst gnädig, barmherzig, geduldig und von großer Barmherzigkeit und verließest sie nicht.
18 Even when they had made for themselves an ox of metal, and said, This is your God who took you up out of Egypt, and had done so much to make you angry;
18 même quand ils se firent un veau en fonte et dirent: Voici ton Dieu qui t'a fait sortir d'Égypte, et qu'ils se livrèrent envers toi à de grands outrages.

18 Además, cuando hicieron para sí becerro de fundición, y dijeron: Este es tu Dios que te hizo subir de Egipto; y cometieron grandes abominaciones;
18 Und ob sie wohl ein gegossenes Kalb machten und sprachen: Das ist dein Gott, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat! und taten große Lästerungen:
19 Even then, in your great mercy, you did not give them up in the waste land: the pillar of cloud still went before them by day, guiding them on their way, and the pillar of fire by night, to give them light, and make clear the way they were to go.
19 Dans ton immense miséricorde, tu ne les abandonnas pas au désert, et la colonne de nuée ne cessa point de les guider le jour dans leur chemin, ni la colonne de feu de les éclairer la nuit dans le chemin qu'ils avaient à suivre.
19 Le barr trócaire ní dhearna tú iad a thréigean san fhásach; An colún néil a threoraigh iad sa lá Níor fhág sé iad, Ná an colún tine san oíche, Leis an mbealach a bhí rompu a shoilsiú dóibh.

20 And you gave your good spirit to be their teacher, and did not keep back your manna from their mouths, and gave them water when they had need of it.
20 Tu leur donnas ton bon esprit pour les rendre sages, tu ne refusas point ta manne à leur bouche, et tu leur fournis de l'eau pour leur soif.
20 Thug tú do dhea-spiorad dóibh lena dteagasc, Agus níor dhiúltaigh tú manna dá mbéala. Thug tú uisce lena dtart a mhúchadh.
20 Y diste tu espíritu bueno para enseñarlos, y no retiraste tu maná de su boca, y agua les diste en su sed.
20 Und du gabst ihnen einen guten Geist, sie zu unterweisen; und dein Man wandtest du nicht von ihrem Munde, und gabst ihnen Wasser, da sie dürstete.
21 Truly, for forty years you were their support in the waste land, and they were in need of nothing; their clothing did not get old or their feet become tired.
21 Pendant quarante ans, tu pourvus à leur entretien dans le désert, et ils ne manquèrent de rien, leurs vêtements ne s'usèrent point, et leurs pieds ne s'enflèrent point.
21 Chothaigh tú iad ar feadh daichead bliain san fhásach; Ní raibh aon ní de dhíth orthu; Ní dheachaigh caitheamh ar a gcuid éadaigh, Ná at ar a gcosa.
21 Y sustentástelos cuarenta años en el desierto; de ninguna cosa tuvieron necesidad: sus vestidos no se envejecieron, ni se hincharon sus pies.
21 Vierzig Jahre versorgtest du sie in der Wüste, daß ihnen nichts mangelte. Ihre Kleider veralteten nicht und ihre Füße zerschwollen nicht.
22 And you gave them kingdoms and peoples, making distribution to them in every part of the land: so they took for their heritage the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og, king of Bashan.
22 Tu leur livras des royaumes et des peuples, dont tu partageas entre eux les contrées, et ils possédèrent le pays de Sihon, roi de Hesbon, et le pays d'Og, roi de Basan.
22 Thug tú dóibh ríochtaí agus pobail, Agus bhronn tú gach feorann orthu; Ghabh siad seilbh ar chríocha Shíochon rí Heisbeon, Agus ar chríocha Óg rí Bháiseán.
22 Y dísteles reinos y pueblos, y los distribuiste por cantones: y poseyeron la tierra de Sehón, y la tierra del rey Hesbón, y la tierra de Og rey de Basán.
22 Und gabst ihnen Königreiche und Völker und teiltest sie hierher und daher, daß sie einnahmen das Land Sihons, des Königs zu Hesbon, und das Land Ogs, des Königs von Basan.
23 And you made their children as great in number as the stars of heaven, and took them into the land, of which you had said to their fathers that they were to go in and take it for themselves.
23 Tu multiplias leurs fils comme les étoiles des cieux, et tu les fis entrer dans le pays dont tu avais dit à leurs pères qu'ils prendraient possession.
23 Chuir tú an rath ar a sliocht Mar a bheadh réaltaí nimhe Agus threoraigh tú isteach iad Sa tír a dúirt tú lena sinsir a ghabháil agus a shealbhú.
23 Y multiplicaste sus hijos como las estrellas del cielo, y metístelos en la tierra, de la cual habías dicho á sus padres que habían de entrar á poseerla.
23 Und vermehrtest ihre Kinder wie die Sterne am Himmel und brachtest sie in das Land, das du ihren Vätern verheißen hattest, daß sie einziehen und es einnehmen sollten.
24 So the children went in and took the land, and you overcame before them the people of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them up into their hands, with their kings and the people of the land, so that they might do with them whatever it was their pleasure to do.
24 Et leurs fils entrèrent et prirent possession du pays; tu humilias devant eux les habitants du pays, les Cananéens, et tu les livras entre leurs mains, avec leurs rois et les peuples du pays, pour qu'ils les traitassent à leur gré.
24 Chuaigh a sliocht isteach agus ghabh an tír, Agus threascair tú rompu Na Canánaigh, áitritheoirí na tíre, Agus thug tú ar láimh dóibh iad, Idir ríthe agus phobal na tíre, Le déanamh leo mar ab áil leosan.
24 Y los hijos vinieron y poseyeron la tierra, y humillaste delante de ellos á los moradores del país, á los Cananeos, los cuales entregaste en su mano, y á sus reyes, y á los pueblos de la tierra, para que hiciesen de ellos á su voluntad.
24 Und die Kinder zogen hinein und nahmen das Land ein; und du demütigtest vor ihnen die Einwohner des Landes, die Kanaaniter, und gabst sie in ihre Hände, ihre Könige und die Völker im Lande, daß sie mit ihnen täten nach ihrem Willen.
25 And they took walled towns and a fat land, and became the owners of houses full of all good things, water-holes cut in the rock, vine-gardens and olive-gardens and a wealth of fruit-trees: so they had food enough and became fat, and had joy in the good you gave them.
25 Ils devinrent maîtres de villes fortifiées et de terres fertiles; ils possédèrent des maisons remplies de toutes sortes de biens, des citernes creusées, des vignes, des oliviers, et des arbres fruitiers en abondance; ils mangèrent, ils se rassasièrent, ils s'engraissèrent, et ils vécurent dans les délices par ta grande bonté.
25 Ghabh siad cathracha daingne, Agus tailte méithe; Fuair siad seilbh ar thithe a bhí lán d'ollmhaitheasaí, Ar thaiscumair thochailte, ar fhíonghoirt, agus ar luibhghoirt ológ, Ar chrainn torthaí go flúirseach. Chaitheadar bia, agus bhíodar sáitheach lán; Bhí orthu rian na dea-choda a thug tú dóibh go flaithiúil.
25 Y tomaron ciudades fortalecidas, y tierra pingüe, y heredaron casas llenas de todo bien, cisternas hechas, viñas y olivares, y muchos árboles de comer; y comieron, y hartáronse, y engrosáronse, y deleitáronse en tu grande bondad.
25 Und sie gewannen feste Städte und ein fettes Land und nahmen Häuser ein voll allerlei Güter, ausgehauene Brunnen, Weinberge, Ölgärten und Bäume, davon man ißt, die Menge, und sie aßen und wurden satt und fett und lebten in Wonne durch deine große Güte.
26 But they were hard-hearted, and went against your authority, turning their backs on your law, and putting to death your prophets, who gave witness against them with the purpose of turning them back again to you, and they did much to make you angry.
26 Néanmoins, ils se soulevèrent et se révoltèrent contre toi. Ils jetèrent ta loi derrière leur dos, ils tuèrent tes prophètes qui les conjuraient de revenir à toi, et ils se livrèrent envers toi à de grands outrages.
26 Ach bhíodar easumhal duit agus rinne siad ceannairc i d'aghaidh; Thug siad droim leis an dlí; Mharaigh siad d'fháithe a thugadh rabhadh dóibh, Le hiad a iompú ar ais ortsa, [Agus thug siad diamhaslaí móra].
26 Empero te irritaron, y rebeláronse contra ti, y echaron tu ley tras sus espaldas, y mataron tus profetas que protestaban contra ellos para convertirlos á ti; é hicieron grandes abominaciones.
26 Aber sie wurden ungehorsam und widerstrebten dir und warfen dein Gesetz hinter sich zurück und erwürgten deine Propheten, die ihnen zeugten, daß sie sollten sich zu dir bekehren, und taten große Lästerungen.
27 And so you gave them up into the hands of their haters who were cruel to them: and in the time of their trouble, when they made their prayer to you, you gave ear to them from heaven; and in your great mercy gave them saviours, who made them free from the hands of their haters.
27 Alors tu les abandonnas entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui les opprimèrent. Mais, au temps de leur détresse, ils crièrent à toi; et toi, tu les entendis du haut des cieux, et, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu leur donnas des libérateurs qui les sauvèrent de la main de leurs ennemis.

27 Y entregástelos en mano de sus enemigos, los cuales los afligieron: y en el tiempo de su tribulación clamaron á ti, y tú desde los cielos los oíste; y según tus muchas miseraciones les dabas salvadores, que los salvasen de mano de sus enemigos.
27 Darum gabst du sie in die Hand ihrer Feinde, die sie ängsteten. Und zur Zeit ihrer Angst schrieen sie zu dir; und du erhörtest sie vom Himmel, und durch deine große Barmherzigkeit gabst du ihnen Heilande, die ihnen halfen aus ihrer Feinde Hand.
28 But when they had rest, they did evil again before you: so you gave them into the hands of their haters, who had rule over them: but when they came back and made their prayer to you, you gave ear to them from heaven; again and again, in your mercy, you gave them salvation;
28 Quand ils eurent du repos, ils recommencèrent à faire le mal devant toi. Alors tu les abandonnas entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui les dominèrent. Mais, de nouveau, ils crièrent à toi; et toi, tu les entendis du haut des cieux, et, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu les délivras maintes fois.
28 Ach a luaithe a bhí síocháin acu rinne siad peaca arís os do chomhair. Rinne tú iad a thabhairt i lámha a naimhde agus luigh siadsan orthu go danartha. Ach d'iompaigh siad, ghlaoigh chugat arís Agus thug tú cluas dóibh ó neamh. An minic a dhéanfaidh tú iad a fhuascailt le teann trócaire?
28 Mas en teniendo reposo, se volvían á hacer lo malo delante de ti; por lo cual los dejaste en mano de sus enemigos, que se enseñorearon de ellos: pero convertidos clamaban otra vez á ti, y tú desde los cielos los oías, y según tus miseraciones muchas veces los libraste.
28 Wenn sie aber zur Ruhe kamen, taten sie wieder übel vor dir. So verließest du sie in ihrer Feinde Hand, daß sie über sie herrschten. So schrieen sie dann wieder zu dir; und du erhörtest sie vom Himmel und errettetest sie nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit vielmal.
29 And gave witness against them so that you might make them come back again to your law: but their hearts were lifted up, and they gave no attention to your orders and went against your decisions (which, if a man keeps them, will be life to him), and turning their backs on you, made their necks stiff and did not give ear.
29 Tu les conjuras de revenir à ta loi; et ils persévérèrent dans l'orgueil, ils n'écoutèrent point tes commandements, ils péchèrent contre tes ordonnances, qui font vivre celui qui les met en pratique, ils eurent une épaule rebelle, ils raidirent leur cou, et ils n'obéirent point.
29 Thug tú rabhadh dóibh lena dtabhairt ar ais chun do dhlí; Ach bhorr an t‑uabhar iontu, agus níor chomhlíon siad d'aitheanta; Pheacaigh siad in aghaidh d'orduithe, Na horduithe a bhronnann an bheatha ar fhear a gcomhlíonta; Chroith siad a nguaillí go stuacach, Agus chruaigh a muineál le stailc, agus níor ghéill siad.
29 Y protestásteles que se volviesen á tu ley; mas ellos hicieron soberbiamente, y no oyeron tus mandamientos, sino que pecaron contra tus juicios, los cuales si el hombre hiciere, en ellos vivirá; y dieron hombro renitente, y endurecieron su cerviz, y no escucharon.
29 Und du ließest ihnen bezeugen, daß sie sich bekehren sollten zu deinem Gesetz. Aber sie waren stolz und gehorchten deinen Geboten nicht und sündigten an deinen Rechten (durch welche ein Mensch lebt, so er sie tut) und kehrten dir den Rücken zu und wurden halsstarrig und gehorchten nicht.
30 Year after year you put up with them, and gave witness against them by your spirit through your prophets: still they did not give ear: and so you gave them up into the hands of the peoples of the lands.
30 Tu les supportas de nombreuses années, tu leur donnas des avertissements par ton esprit, par tes prophètes; et ils ne prêtèrent point l'oreille. Alors tu les livras entre les mains des peuples étrangers.
30 Bhí foighne agat leo ar feadh mórán blianta. Thug tú rabhadh dóibh le do spiorad trí na fáithe, Ach ní thabharfaidís aird ort. Thug tú i lámha chiníocha na gcríoch iad.
30 Y alargaste sobre ellos muchos años, y protestásteles con tu espíritu por mano de tus profetas, mas no escucharon; por lo cual los entregaste en mano de los pueblos de la tierra.
30 Und du verzogst viele Jahre über ihnen und ließest ihnen bezeugen durch deinen Geist in deinen Propheten; aber sie nahmen es nicht zu Ohren. Darum hast du sie gegeben in die Hand der Völker in den Ländern.
31 Even then, in your great mercy, you did not put an end to them completely, or give them up; for you are a God of grace and mercy.
31 Mais, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu ne les anéantis pas, et tu ne les abandonnas pas, car tu es un Dieu compatissant et miséricordieux.

31 Empero por tus muchas misericordias no los consumiste, ni los dejaste; porque eres Dios clemente y misericordioso.
31 Aber nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit hast du es nicht gar aus mit ihnen gemacht noch sie verlassen; denn du bist ein gnädiger und barmherziger Gott.
32 And now, our God, the great, the strong, the God who is to be feared, who keeps faith and mercy, let not all this trouble seem small to you, which has come on us, and on our kings and our rulers and on our priests and our prophets and our fathers and on all your people from the time of the kings of Assyria till this day.
32 Et maintenant, ô notre Dieu, Dieu grand, puissant et redoutable, toi qui gardes ton alliance et qui exerces la miséricorde, ne regarde pas comme peu de chose toutes les souffrances que nous avons éprouvées, nous, nos rois, nos chefs, nos sacrificateurs, nos prophètes, nos pères et tout ton peuple, depuis le temps des rois d'Assyrie jusqu'à ce jour.

32 Ahora pues, Dios nuestro, Dios grande, fuerte, terrible, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia, no sea tenido en poco delante de ti todo el trabajo que nos ha alcanzando á nuestros reyes, á nuestros príncipes, á nuestros sacerdotes, y á nuestros profetas, y á nuestros padres, y á todo tu pueblo, desde los días de los reyes de Asiria hasta este día.
32 Nun, unser Gott, du großer Gott, mächtig und schrecklich, der du hältst Bund und Barmherzigkeit, achte nicht gering alle die Mühsal, die uns getroffen hat, unsre Könige, Fürsten, Priester, Propheten, Väter und dein ganzes Volk von der Zeit an der Könige von Assyrien bis auf diesen Tag.
33 But still, you have been in the right in everything which has come on us; you have been true to us, but we have done evil:
33 Tu as été juste dans tout ce qui nous est arrivé, car tu t'es montré fidèle, et nous avons fait le mal.

33 Tú empero eres justo en todo lo que ha venido sobre nosotros; porque rectamente has hecho, mas nosotros hemos hecho lo malo:
33 Du bist gerecht in allem, was du über uns gebracht hast; denn du hast recht getan, wir aber sind gottlos gewesen.
34 And our kings, our rulers, our priests, and our fathers have not kept your law or given attention to your orders and your witness, with which you gave witness against them.
34 Nos rois, nos chefs, nos sacrificateurs et nos pères n'ont point observé ta loi, et ils n'ont été attentifs ni à tes commandements ni aux avertissements que tu leur adressais.
34 Ár ríthe, ár n‑uachtaráin, ár sagairt, ar sinsir, Níor choinnigh siad do dhlí, Ná níor thug siad aird ar aon aithne ná aon rabhadh Dá dtug tú dóibh.
34 Y nuestros reyes, nuestros príncipes, nuestros sacerdotes, y nuestros padres, no pusieron por obra tu ley, ni atendieron á tus mandamiento y á tus testimonios, con que les protestabas.
34 Und unsre Könige, Fürsten, Priester und Väter haben nicht nach deinem Gesetz getan und auch nicht achtgehabt auf deine Gebote und Zeugnisse, die du hast ihnen lassen bezeugen.
35 For they have not been your servants in their kingdom, and in all the good things you gave them, and in the great and fat land you gave them, and they have not been turned away from their evil-doing.
35 Pendant qu'ils étaient les maîtres, au milieu des bienfaits nombreux que tu leur accordais, dans le pays vaste et fertile que tu leur avais livré, ils ne t'ont point servi et ils ne se sont point détournés de leurs oeuvres mauvaises.

35 Y ellos en su reino y en tu mucho bien que les diste, y en la tierra espaciosa y pingüe que entregaste delante de ellos, no te sirvieron, ni se convirtieron de sus malas obras.
35 Und sie haben dir nicht gedient in ihrem Königreich und in deinen großen Gütern, die du ihnen gabst, und in dem weiten und fetten Lande, das du ihnen dargegeben hast, und haben sich nicht bekehrt von ihrem bösen Wesen.
36 Now, today, we are servants, and as for the land which you gave to our fathers, so that the produce of it and the good might be theirs, see, we are servants in it:

37 And it gives much increase to the kings whom you have put over us because of our sins: and they have power over our bodies and over our cattle at their pleasure, and we are in great trouble.
37 Elle multiplie ses produits pour les rois auxquels tu nous as assujettis, à cause de nos péchés; ils dominent à leur gré sur nos corps et sur notre bétail, et nous sommes dans une grande angoisse!

37 Y se multiplica su fruto para los reyes que has puesto sobre nosotros por nuestros pecados, quienes se enseñorean sobre nuestros cuerpos, y sobre nuestras bestias, conforme á su voluntad, y estamos en grande angustia.
37 Und sein Ertrag mehrt sich den Königen, die du über uns gesetzt hast um unsrer Sünden willen; und sie herrschen über unsre Leiber und unser Vieh nach ihrem Willen, und wir sind in großer Not.
38 And because of all this we are making an agreement in good faith, and putting it in writing; and our rulers, our Levites, and our priests are putting their names to it.
38 Pour tout cela, nous contractâmes une alliance, que nous mîmes par écrit; et nos chefs, nos Lévites et nos sacrificateurs y apposèrent leur sceau.

38 Und in diesem allem machen wir einen festen Bund und schreiben und lassen's unsere Fürsten, Leviten und Priester versiegeln.
