1 Josiah was eight years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem for thirty-one years.

2 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the ways of his father David, without turning to the right hand or to the left.
2 Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, et il marcha dans les voies de David, son père; il ne s'en détourna ni à droite ni à gauche.

2 Este hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, y anduvo en los caminos de David su padre, sin apartarse á la diestra ni á la siniestra.
2 und tat, was dem HERRN wohl gefiel, und wandelte in den Wegen seines Vaters David und wich weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken.
3 In the eighth year of his rule, while he was still young, his heart was first turned to the God of his father David; and in the twelfth year he undertook the clearing away of all the high places and the pillars and the images of wood and metal from Judah and Jerusalem.
3 La huitième année de son règne, comme il était encore jeune, il commença à rechercher le Dieu de David, son père; et la douzième année, il commença à purifier Juda et Jérusalem des hauts lieux, des idoles, des images taillées et des images en fonte.

3 A los ocho años de su reinado, siendo aún muchacho, comenzó á buscar al Dios de David su padre; y á los doce años comenzó á limpiar á Judá y á Jerusalem de los altos, bosques, esculturas, é imágenes de fundición.
3 Denn im achten Jahr seines Königreichs, da er noch jung war, fing er an zu suchen den Gott seines Vaters David, und im zwölften Jahr fing er an zu reinigen Juda und Jerusalem von den Höhen und Ascherabildern und Götzen und gegossenen Bildern
4 He had the altars of the Baals broken down, while he himself was present; and the sun-images which were placed on high over them he had cut down; and the pillars of wood and the metal images he had broken up and crushed to dust, dropping the dust over the resting-places of the dead who had made offerings to them.
4 On renversa devant lui les autels des Baals, et il abattit les statues consacrées au soleil qui étaient dessus; il brisa les idoles, les images taillées et les images en fonte, et les réduisit en poussière, et il répandit la poussière sur les sépulcres de ceux qui leur avaient sacrifié;
4 Scartáladh altóirí na mBálaím ina fhianaise; leag sé anuas na haltóirí túise a bhí os a gcionn, agus rinne sé smidiríní de na cuaillí naofa, de na híomhánna greanta, agus de na híola de mhiotal leáite; rinne sé luaithreach díobh agus leath sé an luaithreach sin ar uaigheanna na ndaoine a rinne íobairt dóibh.
4 Y derribaron delante de él los altares de los Baales, é hizo pedazos las imágenes del sol, que estaban puestas encima; despedazó también los bosques, y las esculturas y estatuas de fundición, y desmenuzólas, y esparció el polvo sobre los sepulcros de los que las habían sacrificado.
4 und ließ vor sich abbrechen die Altäre der Baalim, und die Sonnensäulen obendrauf hieb er ab, und die Ascherabilder und Götzen und gegossenen Bilder zerbrach er und machte sie zu Staub und streute sie auf die Gräber derer, die ihnen geopfert hatten,
5 And he had the bones of the priests burned on their altars, and so he made Judah and Jerusalem clean.
5 et il brûla les ossements des prêtres sur leurs autels. C'est ainsi qu'il purifia Juda et Jérusalem.
5 Loisc sé cnámha a sagart ar na haltóirí agus ar an gcuma sin ghlan sé Iúdá agus Iarúsailéim.
5 Quemó además los huesos de los sacerdotes sobre sus altares, y limpió á Judá y á Jerusalem.
5 und verbrannte die Gebeine der Priester auf ihren Altären und reinigte also Juda und jerusalem,
6 And in all the towns of Manasseh and Ephraim and Simeon as far as Naphtali, he made waste their houses round about.
6 Dans les villes de Manassé, d'Éphraïm, de Siméon, et même de Nephthali, partout au milieu de leurs ruines,
6 Rinne sé amhlaidh chomh maith i gcathracha Mhanaise, Eafráim agus Shimeon, agus fiú i Naftáilí, agus sna dúichí bánaithe máguaird.
6 Lo mismo hizo en las ciudades de Manasés, Ephraim, y Simeón, hasta en Nephtalí, con sus lugares asolados alrededor.
6 dazu in den Städten Manasses, Ephraims, Simeons und bis an Naphthali in ihren Wüsten umher.
7 He had the altars and the pillars of wood pulled down and the images crushed to dust, and all the sun-images cut down, through all the land of Israel, and then he went back to Jerusalem.
7 il renversa les autels, il mit en pièces les idoles et les images taillées et les réduisit en poussière, et il abattit toutes les statues consacrées au soleil dans tout le pays d'Israël. Puis il retourna à Jérusalem.
7 Bhris sé na haltóirí agus na cuaillí naofa, rinne luaithreach de na híola, agus scartáil na haltóirí túise ar fud thír Iosrael. Ansin d'fhill sé ar Iarúsailéim.
7 Y como hubo derribado los altares y los bosques, y quebrado y desmenuzado las esculturas, y destruído todos los ídolos por toda la tierra de Israel, volvióse á Jerusalem.
7 Und da er die Altäre und Ascherabilder abgebrochen und die Götzen klein zermalmt und alle Sonnensäulen abgehauen hatte im ganzen Lande Israel, kam er wieder gen Jerusalem.
8 Now in the eighteenth year of his rule, when the land and the house had been made clean, he sent Shaphan, the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah, the ruler of the town, and Joah, the son of Joahaz, the recorder, to make good what was damaged in the house of the Lord his God.
8 La dix-huitième année de son règne, après qu'il eut purifié le pays et la maison, il envoya Schaphan, fils d'Atsalia, Maaséja, chef de la ville, et Joach, fils de Joachaz, l'archiviste, pour réparer la maison de l'Éternel, son Dieu.
8 San ochtú bliain déag dá réimeas, d'fhonn an tír agus an Teampall a ghlanadh, chuir sé Seáfán mac Azailiá, agus Másaeiá rialtóir na cathrach, agus Ioach mac Ioachaz an callaire, le Teampall an Tiarna a Dhia a ghlanadh.
8 A los dieciocho años de su reinado, después de haber limpiado la tierra, y la casa, envió á Saphán hijo de Asalías, y á Maasías gobernador de la ciudad, y á Joah hijo de Joachâz, canciller, para que reparasen la casa de Jehová su Dios.
8 Im achtzehnten Jahr seines Königreichs, da er das Land und das Haus gereinigt hatte, sandte er Saphan, den Sohn Azaljas, und Maaseja, den Stadtvogt, und Joah, den Sohn Joahas, den Kanzler, zu bessern das Haus des HERRN, seines Gottes.
9 And they came to Hilkiah, the chief priest, and gave him all the money which had been taken into the house of God, which the Levites, the keepers of the door, had got from Manasseh and Ephraim and those of Israel who had not been taken away as prisoners, and from all Judah and Benjamin and the people of Jerusalem.
9 Ils se rendirent auprès du souverain sacrificateur Hilkija, et on livra l'argent qui avait été apporté dans la maison de Dieu, et que les Lévites gardiens du seuil avaient recueilli de Manassé et d'Éphraïm et de tout le reste d'Israël, et de tout Juda et Benjamin et des habitants de Jérusalem.
9 Chuaigh siadsan go Hilcíá an t‑ardsagart agus thug siad dó an t‑airgead a tugadh go Teampall an Tiarna, agus a bhailigh na Léivítigh, gardaí na tairsí, ó Mhanaise agus ó Eafráim, agus ó iarmhar uile Iosrael agus ó Iúdá agus ó Bhiniáimin go léir, agus ó áitritheoirí Iarúsailéim.
9 Los cuales vinieron á Hilcías, gran sacerdote, y dieron el dinero que había sido metido en la casa de Jehová, que los Levitas que guardaban la puerta habían recogido de mano de Manasés y de Ephraim y de todas las reliquias de Israel, y de todo Judá y Benjamín, habiéndose después vuelto á Jerusalem.
9 Und sie kamen zu dem Hohenpriester Hilkia; und man gab ihnen das Geld, das zum Hause Gottes gebracht war, welches die Leviten, die an der Schwelle hüteten, gesammelt hatten von Manasse, Ephraim und von allen übrigen in Israel und vom ganzen Juda und Benjamin und von denen, die zu Jerusalem wohnten;
10 And they gave it to the overseers of the work of the Lord's house, and the overseers gave it to the workmen working in the house, for building it up and making good what was damaged;
10 On le remit entre les mains de ceux qui étaient chargés de faire exécuter l'ouvrage dans la maison de l'Éternel. Et ils l'employèrent pour ceux qui travaillaient aux réparations de la maison de l'Éternel,
10 Thug siad é do shaoistí na n‑oibreacha a bhain le Teampall an Tiarna agus d'úsáid saoistí oibreacha an Teampaill é leis an Teampall a chóiriú agus a dheisiú.
10 Y entregáronlo en mano de los que hacían la obra, que eran sobrestantes en la casa de Jehová; los cuales lo daban á los que hacían la obra y trabajaban en la casa de Jehová, para reparar y restaurar el templo.
10 und sie gaben's den Werkmeistern, die bestellt waren am Hause des HERRN. Die gaben's denen, die da arbeiteten am Hause des Herrn, wo es baufällig war, daß sie das Haus besserten,
11 Even to the woodworkers and builders to get cut stone and wood for joining the structure together and for making boards for the houses which the kings of Judah had given up to destruction.
11 pour les charpentiers et les maçons, pour les achats de pierres de taille et de bois destiné aux poutres et à la charpente des bâtiments qu'avaient détruits les rois de Juda.
11 Thug siad é do na saoir adhmaid agus chloiche le cloch ghearrtha a cheannach, agus adhmad do chúplaí agus do chearchaillí na bhfoirgneamh ar lig ríthe Iúdá dóibh titim ar lár.
11 Daban asimismo á los oficiales y albañiles para que comprasen piedra de cantería, y madera para las trabazones, y para entabladura de las casas, las cuales habían destruído los reyes de Judá.
11 nämlich den Zimmerleuten und Bauleuten, gehauene Steine zu kaufen und Holz zu Klammern und Balken an den Häusern, welche die Könige Juda's verderbt hatten.
12 And the men did the work well; and those who had authority over them were Jahath and Obadiah, Levites of the sons of Merari, and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, who were to be responsible for seeing that the work was done; and others of the Levites, who were expert with instruments of music,
12 Ces hommes agirent avec probité dans leur travail. Ils étaient placés sous l'inspection de Jachath et Abdias, Lévites d'entre les fils de Merari, et de Zacharie et Meschullam, d'entre les fils des Kehathites; tous ceux des Lévites qui étaient habiles musiciens surveillaient les manoeuvres
12 Rinne na fir a gcuid oibre go dílis; cuireadh i gceannas orthu: Iachat agus Obaidiá, Léivítigh de chlann Mharáraí; agus Zacairiá agus Misiulám, de chlann Chohát, mar mhaoir ar an obair; agus Léivítigh a raibh gach duine díobh oilte ar an gceol liotúirgeach;
12 Y estos hombres procedían con fidelidad en la obra: y eran sus gobernadores Jahath y Abdías, Levitas de los hijos de Merari; y Zachârías y Mesullam de los hijos de Coath, para que activasen la obra; y de los Levitas, todos los entendidos en instrumentos de música.
12 Und die Männer arbeiteten am Werk treulich. Und es waren über sie verordnet Jahath und Obadja, die Leviten aus den Kindern Meraris, Sacharja und Mesullam aus den Kindern der Kahathiten, das Werk zu treiben (und waren alle Leviten, die des Saitenspiels kundig waren).
13 Had authority over the transport workers, giving directions to all who were doing any sort of work; and among the Levites there were scribes and overseers and door-keepers.
13 et dirigeaient tous les ouvriers occupés aux divers travaux; il y avait encore d'autres Lévites secrétaires, commissaires et portiers.
13 a thuilleadh a bhí i gceannas an lucht iompair; a thuilleadh a thug treoracha do shaoistí oibreacha na mbeartas ar leith; agus roinnt Léivíteach a bhí mar scríobhaithe, mar chléirigh, agus mar lucht faire ar na geataí. Aimsítear Leabhar an Dlí
13 También velaban sobre los ganapanes, y eran sobrestantes de los que se ocupaban en cualquier clase de obra; y de los Levitas había esribas, gobernadores, y porteros.
13 Aber über die Lastträger und Treiber zu allerlei Arbeit in allen ihren Ämtern waren aus den Leviten die Schreiber, Amtleute und Torhüter.
14 Now when they were taking out the money which had come into the Lord's house, Hilkiah the priest came across the book of the law of the Lord, which he had given by the mouth of Moses.
14 Au moment où l'on sortit l'argent qui avait été apporté dans la maison de l'Éternel, le sacrificateur Hilkija trouva le livre de la loi de l'Éternel donnée par Moïse.
14 Nuair a bhí an t‑airgead a tugadh go Teampall an Tiarna á thógáil amach acu, fuair Hilcíá an t‑ardsagart leabhar dhlí an Tiarna a tugadh trí Mhaois.
14 Y al sacar el dinero que había sido metido en la casa de Jehová, Hilcías el sacerdote halló el libro de la ley de Jehová dada por mano de Moisés.
14 Und da sie das Geld herausnahmen, das zum Hause des HERRN eingelegt war, fand Hilkia, der Priester, das Buch des Gesetzes des HERRN, das durch Mose gegeben war.
15 Then Hilkiah said to Shaphan the scribe, I have made discovery of the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan.
15 Alors Hilkija prit la parole et dit à Schaphan, le secrétaire: J'ai trouvé le livre de la loi dans la maison de l'Éternel. Et Hilkija donna le livre à Schaphan.
15 Ansin dúirt Hilcíá le Seáfán an rúnaí: “Fuair mé leabhar an dlí i dTeampall an Tiarna,” agus thug Hilcíá an leabhar do Sheáfán.
15 Y dando cuenta Hilcías, dijo á Saphán escriba: Yo he hallado el libro de la ley en la casa de Jehová. Y dió Hilcías el libro á Saphán.
15 Und Hilkia antwortete und sprach zu Saphan, dem Schreiber: Ich habe das Gesetzbuch gefunden im Hause des HERRN. Und Hilkia gab das Buch Saphan.
16 And Shaphan took the book to the king; and he gave him an account of what had been done, saying, Your servants are doing all they have been given to do;
16 Schaphan apporta le livre au roi, et lui rendit aussi compte, en disant: Tes serviteurs ont fait tout ce qui leur a été commandé;
16 Thug Seáfán an leabhar go dtí an rí agus seo mar d'aithris sé dó: “Tá na beartais go léir a leag tú ar do shearbhóntaí á gcur i gcrích acu.
16 Y Saphán lo llevó al rey, y contóle el negocio, diciendo: Tus siervos han cumplido todo lo que les fué dado á cargo.
16 Saphan aber brachte es zum König und gab dem König Bericht und sprach: Alles, was unter die Hände deiner Knechte gegeben ist, das machen sie.
17 They have taken out all the money which was in the Lord's house and have given it to the overseers and to the workmen.
17 ils ont amassé l'argent qui se trouvait dans la maison de l'Éternel, et l'ont remis entre les mains des inspecteurs et des ouvriers.
17 Rinne siad an t‑airgead go léir a bhí i dTeampall an Tiarna a leá agus a thabhairt suas do na maoir agus do shaoistí na n‑oibreacha.”
17 Han reunido el dinero que se halló en la casa de Jehová, y lo han entregado en mano de los comisionados, y en mano de los que hacen la obra.
17 Und sie haben das Geld zuhauf geschüttet, das im Hause des HERRN gefunden ist, und haben's gegeben denen, die verordnet sind, und den Arbeitern.
18 Then Shaphan the scribe said to the king, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book; and he made a start at reading some of it to the king.
18 Schaphan, le secrétaire, dit encore au roi: Le sacrificateur Hilkija m'a donné un livre. Et Schaphan le lut devant le roi.
18 Ansin dúirt Seáfán an rúnaí leis an rí: “Thug Hilcíá an sagart leabhar dom,” agus léigh Seáfán sliocht as i láthair an rí.
18 A más de esto, declaró Saphán escriba al rey, diciendo: El sacerdote Hilcías me dió un libro. Y leyó Saphán en él delante del rey.
18 Und Saphan, der Schreiber, sagte dem König an und sprach: Hilkia, der Priester, hat mir ein Buch gegeben. Und Saphan las daraus vor dem König.
19 And the king, hearing the words of the law, took his robe in his hands, violently parting it as a sign of his grief.
19 Lorsque le roi entendit les paroles de la loi, il déchira ses vêtements.
19 Nuair a chuala an rí briathra an dlí, stróic sé a chuid éadaigh,
19 Y luego que el rey oyó las palabras de la ley, rasgó sus vestidos;
19 Und da der König die Worte des Gesetzes hörte, zerriß er seine Kleider.
20 And he gave orders to Hilkiah and to Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, and Abdon, the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe and Asaiah, the king's servant, saying,
20 Et le roi donna cet ordre à Hilkija, à Achikam, fils de Schaphan, à Abdon, fils de Michée, à Schaphan, le secrétaire, et à Asaja, serviteur du roi:
20 agus ansin thug sé an t‑ordú seo leanas do Hilcíá, d'Aichíceám mac Sheáfán, d'Abdón mac Mhíocá, do Sheáfán an rúnaí, agus d'Asáiá, searbhónta an rí:
20 Y mandó á Hilcías y á Ahicam hijo de Saphán, y á Abdón hijo de Michâ, y á Saphán escriba, y á Asaía siervo del rey, diciendo:
20 Und der König gebot Hilkia und Ahikam, dem Sohn Saphans, und Abdon, dem Sohn Michas, und Saphan, dem Schreiber, und Asaja, dem Knecht des Königs, und sprach:
21 Go and get directions from the Lord for me and for those who are still in Israel and for Judah, about the words of this book which has come to light; for great is the wrath of the Lord which has been let loose on us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord or done what is recorded in this book.
21 Allez, consultez l'Éternel pour moi et pour ce qui reste en Israël et en Juda, au sujet des paroles de ce livre qu'on a trouvé; car grande est la colère de l'Éternel qui s'est répandue sur nous, parce que nos pères n'ont point observé la parole de l'Éternel et n'ont point mis en pratique tout ce qui est écrit dans ce livre.
21 “Gabhaigí i gcomhairle leis an Tiarna thar mo cheann féin, agus thar cheann a bhfuil fágtha in Iosrael agus in Iúdá, i dtaobh a bhfuil sa leabhar seo a fuarthas anois beag. Óir is mór atá fearg an Tiarna fadaithe inár n‑aghaidh de bhrí nár chomhlíon ár sinsir briathar an Tiarna agus gach a bhfuil scríofa sa leabhar seo a chleachtadh.” Fáistine ó Bhanfháidh
21 Andad, y consultad á Jehová de mí, y de las reliquias de Israel y de Judá, acerca de las palabras del libro que se ha hallado; porque grande es el furor de Jehová que ha caído sobre nosotros, por cuanto nuestros padres no guardaron la palabra de Jehová, para hacer conforme á todo lo que está escrito en este libro.
21 Gehet hin und fraget den HERRN für mich und für die übrigen in Israel und Juda über die Worte des Buches, das gefunden ist; denn der Grimm des HERRN ist groß, der über uns entbrannt ist, daß unsre Väter nicht gehalten haben das Wort des HERRN, daß sie täten, wie geschrieben steht in diesem Buch.
22 So Hilkiah, and those whom the king sent, went to Huldah the woman prophet, the wife of Shallum, the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, the keeper of the robes (now she was living in Jerusalem, in the second part of the town); and they had talk with her about this thing.
22 Hilkija et ceux qu'avait désignés le roi allèrent auprès de la prophétesse Hulda, femme de Schallum, fils de Thokehath, fils de Hasra, gardien des vêtements. Elle habitait à Jérusalem, dans l'autre quartier de la ville. Après qu'ils eurent exprimé ce qu'ils avaient à lui dire,
22 Chuaigh Hilcíá agus teachtairí an rí go dtí Huldá an banfháidh, bean Shealum mac Thócat mac Hasrá, coimeádaí na n‑éidí [bhí cónaí uirthi in Iarúsailéim sa bhaile nua], agus cuir siad an scéal faoina bráid.
22 Entonces Hilcías y los del rey fueron á Hulda profetisa, mujer de Sallum, hijo de Tikvath, hijo de Hasra, guarda de las vestimentas, la cual moraba en Jerusalem en la casa de la doctrina; y dijéronle las palabras dichas.
22 Da ging Hilkia hin samt den andern, die der König gesandt hatte, zu der Prophetin Hulda, dem Weibe Sallums, des Sohnes Thokehaths, des Sohnes Hasras, des Kleiderhüters, die zu Jerusalem wohnte im andern Teil, und redeten solches mit ihr.
23 And she said to them, The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Say to the man who sent you to me,
23 elle leur répondit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Dites à l'homme qui vous a envoyés vers moi:
23 D'fhreagair sí: “Deir an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael, mar leanas: ‘Abraigí é seo leis an té a chuir chugam sibh:
23 Y ella respondió: Jehová el Dios de Israel ha dicho así: Decid al varón que os ha enviado á mí, que así ha dicho Jehová:
23 Und sie sprach zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Saget dem Manne, der euch zu mir gesandt hat:
24 These are the words of the Lord: See, I will send evil on this place and on its people, even all the curses in the book which they have been reading before the king of Judah;
24 Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je vais faire venir des malheurs sur ce lieu et sur ses habitants, toutes les malédictions écrites dans le livre qu'on a lu devant le roi de Juda.
24 Seo mar a deir an Tiarna: Tá tubaiste á tabhairt agam ar an áit seo agus ar an muintir a chónaíonn ann, na mallachtaí go léir, is é sin, atá scríofa sa leabhar a léadh i láthair rí Iúdá;
24 He aquí yo traigo mal sobre este lugar, y sobre los moradores de él, y todas las maldiciones que están escritas en el libro que leyeron delante del rey de Judá:
24 So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will Unglück bringen über diesen Ort und die Einwohner, alle die Flüche, die geschrieben stehen in dem Buch, das man vor dem König Juda's gelesen hat,
25 Because they have given me up, burning offerings to other gods and moving me to wrath by all the works of their hands; so my wrath is let loose on this place and will not be put out.
25 Parce qu'ils m'ont abandonné et qu'ils ont offert des parfums à d'autres dieux, afin de m'irriter par tous les ouvrages de leurs mains, ma colère s'est répandue sur ce lieu, et elle ne s'éteindra point.
25 mar thréig siad mise agus rinne siad íobairt do dhéithe eile, do mo ghriogadh chun feirge i ngach beart dá ndearna siad. Uime sin tá m'fhearg le lasadh in aghaidh na háite seo, agus ní dhéanfar í a mhuchadh.
25 Por cuanto me han dejado, y han sacrificado á dioses ajenos, provocándome á ira en todas las obras de sus manos; por tanto mi furor destilará sobre este lugar, y no se apagará.
25 darum daß sie mich verlassen haben und andern Göttern geräuchert, daß sie mich erzürnten mit allerlei Werken ihrer Hände. Und mein Grimm ist entbrannt über diesen Ort und soll nicht ausgelöscht werden.
26 But to the king of Judah who sent you to get directions from the Lord, say, This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said: Because you have given ear to my words,
26 Mais vous direz au roi de Juda qui vous a envoyés pour consulter l'Éternel: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, au sujet des paroles que tu as entendues:
26 Agus abraigí le rí Iúdá a chuir sibh le dul i gcomhairle leis an Tiarna: Mar seo a deir an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael: [Comhlíonfar] na focail a chuala tú.
26 Mas al rey de Judá, que os ha enviado á consultar á Jehová, así le diréis: Jehová el Dios de Israel ha dicho así: Por cuanto oiste las palabras del libro,
26 Und zum König Juda's, der euch gesandt hat, den HERRN zu fragen, sollt ihr also sagen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, von den Worten, die du gehört hast:
27 And your heart was soft, and you made yourself low before God, on hearing his words about this place and its people, and with weeping and signs of grief have made yourself low before me, I have given ear to you, says the Lord God.
27 Parce que ton coeur a été touché, parce que tu t'es humilié devant Dieu en entendant ses paroles contre ce lieu et contre ses habitants, parce que tu t'es humilié devant moi, parce que tu as déchiré tes vêtements et que tu as pleuré devant moi, moi aussi, j'ai entendu, dit l'Éternel.
27 De bhrí go bhfuil aithrí i do chroí agus gur umhlaigh tú thú féin os comhair Dé nuair a chuala tú cad a bhagair sé in aghaidh na háite seo agus a lucht cónaithe; de bhrí gur umhlaigh tú thú féin os mo chomhair, agus gur stróic tú do chuid éadaigh, agus gur ghoil tú i mo láthair, thug mise cluas duit - sé an Tiarna atá ag caint.
27 Y tu corazón se enterneció, y te humillaste delante de Dios al oir sus palabras sobre este lugar, y sobre sus moradores, y te humillaste delante de mí, y rasgaste tus vestidos, y lloraste en mi presencia, yo también te he oído, dice Jehová.
27 Darum daß dein Herz weich geworden ist und hast dich gedemütigt vor Gott, da du seine Worte hörtest wider diesen Ort und wider die Einwohner, und hast dich vor mir gedemütigt und deine Kleider zerrissen und vor mir geweint, so habe ich dich auch erhört, spricht der HERR.
28 See, I will let you go to your fathers, and be put in your last resting-place in peace, and your eyes will not see all the evil which I will send on this place and on its people. So they took this news back to the king.
28 Voici, je te recueillerai auprès de tes pères, tu seras recueilli en paix dans ton sépulcre, et tes yeux ne verront pas tous les malheurs que je ferai venir sur ce lieu et sur ses habitants. Ils rapportèrent au roi cette réponse.
28 Déanfaidh mé thú a chruinniú chun do shinsear, agus déanfar do chnámha a bhreith faoi shíocháin chun na huaighe. Ní fheicfidh tú le do shúile cinn na tubaistí go léir atá ar aigne agam a thabhairt ar an áit seo agus ar a bhfuil ina gcónaí ann.’ ” Thug siad an freagra sin leo go dtí an rí. 28 He aquí que yo te recogeré con tus padres, y serás recogido en tus sepulcros en paz, y tus ojos no verán todo el mal que yo traigo sobre este lugar, y sobre los moradores de él. Y ellos refirieron al rey la respuesta.
28 Siehe, ich will dich sammeln zu deinen Vätern, daß du in dein Grab mit Frieden gesammelt werdest, daß deine Augen nicht sehen all das Unglück, das ich über diesen Ort und die Einwohner bringen will. Und sie sagten's dem König wieder.
29 Then the king sent and got together all the responsible men of Judah and of Jerusalem.
29 Le roi fit assembler tous les anciens de Juda et de Jérusalem.
29 Ansin chruinnigh an rí chuige féin seanóirí Iúdá agus Iarúsailéim go léir.
29 Entonces el rey envió y juntó todos los ancianos de Judá y de Jerusalem.
29 Da sandte der König hin und ließ zuhauf kommen alle Ältesten in Juda und Jerusalem.
30 And the king went up to the house of the Lord, with all the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem, and the priests and the Levites and all the people, small and great; and they were present at his reading of the book of the law which had come to light in the house of the Lord.
30 Puis il monta à la maison de l'Éternel avec tous les hommes de Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem, les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, et tout le peuple, depuis le plus grand jusqu'au plus petit. Il lut devant eux toutes les paroles du livre de l'alliance, qu'on avait trouvé dans la maison de l'Éternel.
30 Chuaigh an rí suas go Teampall an Tiarna mar aon le pobal uile Iúdá agus muintir Iarúsailéim ar fad, idir shagairt agus Léivítigh agus an pobal go léir idir uasal agus íseal. Léigh sé amach i gcomhchlos dóibh, gach focal dá raibh scríofa i leabhar an chonartha a fuarthas i dTeampall an Tiarna.
30 Y subió el rey á la casa de Jehová, y con él todos los varones de Judá, y los moradores de Jerusalem, y los sacerdotes, y los Levitas, y todo el pueblo desde el mayor hasta el más pequeño; y leyó á oídos de ellos todas las palabras del libro del pacto que había sido hallado en la casa de Jehová.
30 Und der König ging hinauf ins Haus des HERRN und alle Männer Juda's und Einwohner zu Jerusalem, die Priester, die Leviten und alles Volk, klein und groß; und wurden vor ihren Ohren gelesen alle Worte im Buch des Bundes, das im Hause des HERRN gefunden war.
31 Then the king, taking his place by the pillar, made an agreement before the Lord, to go in the way of the Lord, and to keep his orders and his decisions and his rules with all his heart and with all his soul, and to keep the words of the agreement recorded in this book.
31 Le roi se tenait sur son estrade, et il traita alliance devant l'Éternel, s'engageant à suivre l'Éternel, et à observer ses ordonnances, ses préceptes et ses lois, de tout son coeur et de toute son âme, afin de mettre en pratique les paroles de l'alliance écrites dans ce livre.
31 Sheas an rí ina ionad féin agus rinne sé conradh i láthair an Tiarna a chur mar cheangal air féin an Tiarna a leanúint agus a aitheanta agus a reachtanna agus a dhlíthe a chomhlíonadh lena chroí go hiomlán, agus lena anam go hiomlán, agus briathra an chonartha a bhí scríofa sa leabhar sin a chur i gcrích.
31 Y estando el rey en pie en su sitio, hizo alianza delante de Jehová de caminar en pos de Jehová, y de guardar sus mandamientos, sus testimonios, y sus estatutos, de todo su corazón y de toda su alma, poniendo por obra las palabras del pacto que estaban escritas en aquel libro.
31 Und der König trat an seinen Ort und machte einen Bund vor dem HERRN, daß man dem HERRN nachwandeln sollte, zu halten seine Gebote, Zeugnisse und Rechte von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele, zu tun nach allen Worten des Bundes, die gechrieben standen in diesem Buch.
32 And he made all the people in Jerusalem and Benjamin give their word to keep it. And the people of Jerusalem kept the agreement of God, the God of their fathers.
32 Et il fit entrer dans l'alliance tous ceux qui se trouvaient à Jérusalem et en Benjamin; et les habitants de Jérusalem agirent selon l'alliance de Dieu, du Dieu de leurs pères.
32 Thug sé a ionad féin ansiúd do gach duine in Iarúsailéim nó i mBiniáimin. Chloígh áitritheoirí Iarúsailéim ar fad le conradh a nDé, Dia a sinsear.
32 E hizo que se obligaran á ello todos los que estaban en Jerusalem y en Benjamín: y los moradores de Jerusalem hicieron conforme al pacto de Dios, del Dios de sus padres.
32 Und er ließ in den Bund treten alle, die zu Jerusalem und in Benjamin vorhanden waren. Und die Einwohner zu Jerusalem taten nach dem Bund Gottes, des Gottes ihrer Väter.
33 Josiah took away all the disgusting things out of all the lands of the children of Israel, and made all who were in Israel servants of the Lord their God. And as long as he was living they were true to the Lord, the God of their fathers.
33 Josias fit disparaître toutes les abominations de tous les pays appartenant aux enfants d'Israël, et il obligea tous ceux qui se trouvaient en Israël à servir l'Éternel, leur Dieu. Pendant toute sa vie, ils ne se détournèrent point de l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères.
33 Scuab Ióisíá chun siúil gach gráinniúlacht a bhí ar fud na gcríoch go léir a bhain le clann Iosrael. Rinne sé deimhin de i gcaitheamh a shaoil ar fad go ndearna gach duine in Iosrael seirbhís don Tiarna a nDia. Níor theip orthu an Tiarna, Dia a sinsear, a leanúint.
33 Y quitó Josías todas las abominaciones de todas las tierras de los hijos de Israel, é hizo á todos los que se hallaron en Israel que sirviesen á Jehová su Dios. No se apartaron de en pos de Jehová el Dios de sus padres, todo el tiempo que él vivió.
33 Und Josia tat weg alle Greuel aus allen Landen der Kinder Israel und schaffte, daß alle, die in Israel gefunden wurden, dem HERRN, ihrem Gott, dienten. Solange Josia lebte, wichen sie nicht von dem HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott.
