1 And David said, Is there still anyone of Saul's family living, so that I may be a friend to him, because of Jonathan?

1 Und David sprach: Ist auch noch jemand übriggeblieben von dem Hause Sauls, daß ich Barmherzigkeit an ihm tue um Jonathans willen?
2 Now there was of Saul's people a servant named Ziba, and they sent him to David; and the king said to him, Are you Ziba? And he said, I am.
2 Il y avait un serviteur de la maison de Saül, nommé Tsiba, que l'on fit venir auprès de David. Le roi lui dit: Es-tu Tsiba? Et il répondit: Ton serviteur!

2 Es war aber ein Knecht vom Hause Sauls, der hieß Ziba; den riefen sie zu David. Und der König sprach zu ihm: Bist du Ziba? Er sprach: Ja, dein Knecht.
3 And the king said, Is there anyone of Saul's family still living, to whom I may be a friend in God's name? And Ziba said, There is a son of Jonathan, whose feet are damaged.
3 Le roi dit: N'y a-t-il plus personne de la maison de Saül, pour que j'use envers lui de la bonté de Dieu? Et Tsiba répondit au roi: Il y a encore un fils de Jonathan, perclus des pieds.
3 Dúirt an rí: “Nach bhfuil duine éigin de theaghlach Shóil fágtha le go dtaispeánfainn cineáltas Dé dó?” D'fhreagair Zíbeá an rí: “Tá mac le Iónátán, duine a bhfuil cosa bacacha faoi.”
3 Y el rey dijo: ¿No ha quedado nadie de la casa de Saúl, á quien haga yo misericordia de Dios? Y Siba respondió al rey: Aun ha quedado un hijo de Jonathán, lisiado de los pies.
3 Der König sprach: Ist noch jemand vom Hause Sauls, daß ich Gottes Barmherzigkeit an ihm tue? Ziba sprach: Es ist noch da ein Sohn Jonathans, lahm an den Füßen.
4 And the king said to him, Where is he? And Ziba said to the king, He is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo-debar.
4 Le roi lui dit: Où est-il? Et Tsiba répondit au roi: Il est dans la maison de Makir, fils d'Ammiel, à Lodebar.

4 Entonces el rey le dijo: ¿Y ése dónde está? Y Siba respondió al rey: He aquí, está en casa de Machîr hijo de Amiel, en Lodebar.
4 Der König sprach zu ihm: Wo ist er? Ziba sprach zum König: Siehe, er ist zu Lo-Dabar im Hause Machirs, des Sohnes Ammiels.
5 Then King David sent, and had him taken from Lo-debar, from the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel.
5 Le roi David l'envoya chercher dans la maison de Makir, fils d'Ammiel, à Lodebar.

6 And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, came to David, and falling down on his face, gave him honour. And David said, Mephibosheth. And answering he said, Your servant is here.
6 Et Mephiboscheth, fils de Jonathan, fils de Saül, vint auprès de David, tomba sur sa face et se prosterna. David dit: Mephiboscheth! Et il répondit: Voici ton serviteur.

6 Da nun Mephiboseth, der Sohn Jonathans, des Sohnes Sauls, zu David kam, fiel er auf sein Angesicht und beugte sich nieder. David aber sprach: Mephiboseth! Er sprach: Hier bin ich, dein Knecht.
7 And David said to him, Have no fear: for truly I will be good to you, because of your father Jonathan, and I will give back to you all the land which was Saul's; and you will have a place at my table at all times.
7 David lui dit: Ne crains point, car je veux te faire du bien à cause de Jonathan, ton père. Je te rendrai toutes les terres de Saül, ton père, et tu mangeras toujours à ma table.
7 Dúirt Dáiví leis: “Ná bíodh eagla ort; taispeánfaidh mise cineáltas duit ar son d'athar Iónátán agus déanfaidh mé fearann uile d'athar, Sól, a thabhairt ar ais duit agus íosfaidh tú i gcónaí ag mo bhord.”
7 Y díjole David: No tengas temor, porque yo á la verdad haré contigo misericordia por amor de Jonathán tu padre, y te haré volver todas las tierras de Saúl tu padre; y tú comerás siempre pan á mi mesa.
7 David sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich nicht; denn ich will Barmherzigkeit an dir tun um Jonathans, deines Vaters, willen und will dir allen Acker deines Vaters Saul wiedergeben; du sollst aber täglich an meinem Tisch das Brot essen.
8 And he went down on his face before the king, and said, What is your servant, for you to take note of a dead dog such as I am?

9 Then the king sent for Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, All the property of Saul and of his family I have given to your master's son.
9 Le roi appela Tsiba, serviteur de Saül, et lui dit: Je donne au fils de ton maître tout ce qui appartenait à Saül et à toute sa maison.

9 Da rief der König Ziba, den Diener Sauls, und sprach zu ihm: Alles, was Saul gehört hat und seinem ganzen Hause, habe ich dem Sohn deines Herrn gegeben.
10 And you and your sons and your servants are to take care of the land for him, and get in the fruit of it, so that your master's son may have food: but Mephibosheth, your master's son, will have a place at my table at all times. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
10 Tu cultiveras pour lui les terres, toi, tes fils, et tes serviteurs, et tu feras les récoltes, afin que le fils de ton maître ait du pain à manger; et Mephiboscheth, fils de ton maître, mangera toujours à ma table. Or Tsiba avait quinze fils et vingt serviteurs.
10 Ní foláir duitse an talamh a shaothrú dó, thú féin agus do chlann mhac agus do dhaoráin; ní foláir duitse an fómhar a bhaint chun bia a sholáthar do chlann do mháistir. 10 Tú pues le labrarás las tierras, tú con tus hijos, y tus siervos, y encerrarás los frutos, para que el hijo de tu Señor tenga con qué mantenerse; y Mephi-boseth el hijo de tu señor tenga con qué mantenerse; y Mephi-boseth el hijo de tu señor comerá siempre pan á mi mesa. Y tenía Siba quince hijos y veinte siervos.
10 So arbeite ihm nun seinen Acker, du und deine Kinder und Knechte, und bringe es ein, daß es das Brot sei des Sohnes deines Herrn, daß er sich nähre; aber Mephiboseth, deines Herrn Sohn, soll täglich das Brot essen an meinem Tisch. Ziba aber hatte fünfzehn Söhne und zwanzig Knechte.
11 Then Ziba said to the king, Every order which you have given to your servant will be done. As for Mephibosheth, he had a place at David's table, like one of the king's sons.
11 Il dit au roi: Ton serviteur fera tout ce que le roi mon seigneur ordonne à son serviteur. Et Mephiboscheth mangea à la table de David, comme l'un des fils du roi.
11 Dúirt Zíbeá leis an rí: “Déanfaidh do shearbhónta gach ar ordaigh mo thiarna an rí dá shearbhónta.” Bhíodh Meirí Bál dá bhrí sin ag suí chun boird le Dáiví, mar dhuine de chlann mhac an rí.
11 Y respondió Siba al rey: Conforme á todo lo que ha mandado mi Señor el rey á su siervo, así lo hará tu siervo. Mephi-boseth, dijo el rey, comerá á mi mesa, como uno de los hijos del rey.
11 Und Ziba sprach zum König: Alles, wie mein Herr, der König, seinem Knecht geboten hat, so soll dein Knecht tun. Und Mephiboseth (sprach David) esse an meinem Tisch wie der Königskinder eins.
12 And Mephibosheth had a young son named Mica. And all the people living in the house of Ziba were servants to Mephibosheth.
12 Mephiboscheth avait un jeune fils, nommé Mica, et tous ceux qui demeuraient dans la maison de Tsiba étaient serviteurs de Mephiboscheth.

13 So Mephibosheth went on living in Jerusalem; for he took all his meals at the king's table; and he had not the use of his feet.
13 Mephiboscheth habitait à Jérusalem, car il mangeait toujours à la table du roi. Il était boiteux des deux pieds.

13 Y moraba Mephi-boseth en Jerusalem, porque comía siempre á la mesa del rey; y era cojo de ambos pies.
13 Mephiboseth aber wohnte zu Jerusalem; denn er aß täglich an des Königs Tisch, und er hinkte mit seinen beiden Füßen.
