1 Now after Abimelech, Tola, the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar, became the saviour of Israel; he was living in Shamir in the hill-country of Ephraim.
1 Après Abimélec, Thola, fils de Pua, fils de Dodo, homme d'Issacar, se leva pour délivrer Israël; il habitait à Schamir, dans la montagne d'Éphraïm.
1 Tar éis Aibímeilic, d'éirigh Tólá mac Phúá mac Dhódó, chun Iosrael a fhuascailt. Ba de threibh Íosácár é agus bhí cónaí air i Seámaír i sléibhte Eafráim.
1 Y Después de Abimelech levantóse para librar á Israel, Tola hijo de Púa, hijo de Dodo, varón de Issachâr, el cual habitaba en Samir, en el monte de Ephraim.
1 Nach Abimelech machte sich auf, zu helfen Israel, Thola, ein Mann von Isaschar, ein Sohn Phuas, des Sohnes Dodos. Und er wohnte zu Samir auf dem Gebirge Ephraim
2 He was judge over Israel for twenty-three years; and at his death his body was put to rest in the earth in Shamir.
2 Il fut juge en Israël pendant vingt-trois ans; puis il mourut, et fut enterré à Schamir.
2 Ba bhreitheamh in Iosrael é ar feadh trí bliana fichead; d'éag sé ansin agus cuireadh é i Seámaír.
2 Y juzgó á Israel veintitrés años, y murió, y fué sepultado en Samir.
2 und richtete Israel dreiundzwanzig Jahre und starb und wurde begraben zu Samir.
3 And after him came Jair the Gileadite, who was judge over Israel for twenty-two years.
3 Après lui, se leva Jaïr, le Galaadite, qui fut juge en Israël pendant vingt-deux ans.
3 Ina dhiaidhsean, d'eirigh Iáír ó Ghileád, agus ba bhreitheamh in Iosrael é ar feadh dhá bhliain fhichead.
3 Tras él se levantó Jair, Galaadita, el cual juzgó á Israel veintidós años.
3 Nach ihm machte sich auf Jair, ein Gileaditer, und richtete Israel zweiundzwanzig Jahre.
4 And he had thirty sons, who went on thirty young asses; and they had thirty towns in the land of Gilead, which are named Havvoth-Jair to this day.
4 Il avait trente fils, qui montaient sur trente ânons, et qui possédaient trente villes, appelées encore aujourd'hui bourgs de Jaïr, et situées dans le pays de Galaad.
4 Bhí deich mac fichead aige a dhéanadh marcaíocht ar dheich n‑asal fichead; bhí deich gcathair fichead acu ar a dtugtar Longfoirt Iáír go dtí an lá inniu; tá siad i dtír Ghileád.
4 Este tuvo treinta hijos que cabalgaban sobre treinta asnos, y tenían treinta villas, que se llamaron las villas de Jair hasta hoy, las cuales están en la tierra de Galaad.
4 Der hatte dreißig Söhne auf dreißig Eselsfüllen reiten; und sie hatten dreißig Städte, die hießen Dörfer Jairs bis auf diesen Tag und liegen in Gilead.
5 And at the death of Jair his body was put to rest in the earth in Kamon.
5 Et Jaïr mourut, et fut enterré à Kamon.
5 D'eag Iáír agus cuireadh é i gCámón.
5 Y murió Jair, y fué sepultado en Camón.
5 Und Jair starb und ward begraben zu Kamon.
6 And again the children of Israel did evil in the eyes of the Lord, worshipping the Baals and Astartes, and the gods of Aram and the gods of Zidon and the gods of Moab and the gods of the children of Ammon and the gods of the Philistines; they gave up the Lord and were servants to him no longer.
6 Les enfants d'Israël firent encore ce qui déplaît à l'Éternel; ils servirent les Baals et les Astartés, les dieux de Syrie, les dieux de Sidon, les dieux de Moab, les dieux des fils d'Ammon, et les dieux des Philistins, et ils abandonnèrent l'Éternel et ne le servirent plus.
6 Rinne pobal Iosrael an t‑olc arís i bhfianaise an Tiarna. D'fhónadar do na Bálaím agus do na hAisteárót, do dhéithe Arám agus do dhéithe Shíodón, do dhéithe Mhóáb agus do dhéithe na nAmónach agus do dhéithe na bhFilistíneach; thréigeadar an Tiarna agus níor fhónadar dó a thuilleadh.
6 Mas los hijos de Israel tornaron á hacer lo malo en los ojos de Jehová, y sirvieron á los Baales y á Astaroth, y á los dioses de Siria, y á los dioses de Sidón, y á los dioses de Moab, y á los dioses de los hijos de Ammón, y á los dioses de los Filisteos: y dejaron á Jehová, y no le sirvieron.
6 Aber die Kinder Israel taten fürder übel vor dem HERRN und dienten den Baalim und den Astharoth und den Göttern von Syrien und den Göttern von Sidon und den Göttern Moabs und den Göttern der Kinder Ammon und den Göttern der Philister und verließen den HERRN und dienten ihm nicht.
7 And the wrath of the Lord was burning against Israel, and he gave them up into the hands of the Philistines and into the hands of the children of Ammon.
7 La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël, et il les vendit entre les mains des Philistins et entre les mains des fils d'Ammon.
7 Ansin bhladhm fearg an Tiarna in aghaidh Iosrael agus thug sé ar láimh iad do na Filistínigh agus do na hAmónaigh,
7 Y Jehová se airó contra Israel, y vendiólos en mano de los Filisteos, y en mano de los hijos de Ammón:
7 Da ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel, und er verkaufte sie unter die Hand der Philister und der Kinder Ammon.
8 And that year the children of Israel were crushed under their yoke; for eighteen years all the children of Israel on the other side of Jordan, in the land of the Amorites which is in Gilead, were cruelly crushed down.
8 Ils opprimèrent et écrasèrent les enfants d'Israël cette année-là, et pendant dix-huit ans tous les enfants d'Israël qui étaient de l'autre côté du Jourdain dans le pays des Amoréens en Galaad.
8 agus ón mbliain sin ar aghaidh rinneadarsan cos ar bolg agus géarleanúint ar feadh ocht mbliana déag ar chlann Iosrael - ar chlann Iosrael go léir a bhí ag cur fúthu lastall den Iordáin i gcríocha na nAmórach atá i nGileád.
8 Los cuales molieron y quebrantaron á los hijos de Israel en aquel tiempo dieciocho años, á todos los hijos de Israel que estaban de la otra parte del Jordán en la tierra del Amorrheo, que es en Galaad.
8 Und sie zertraten und zerschlugen die Kinder Israel von dem Jahr an wohl achtzehn Jahre, nämlich alle Kinder Israel jenseit des Jordans, im Lande der Amoriter, das in Gilead liegt.
9 And the children of Ammon went over Jordan, to make war against Judah and Benjamin and the house of Ephraim; and Israel was in great trouble.
9 Les fils d'Ammon passèrent le Jourdain pour combattre aussi contre Juda, contre Benjamin et contre la maison d'Éphraïm. Et Israël fut dans une grande détresse.
9 Tháinig na hAmónaigh freisin thar Iordáin anall chun troid in aghaidh Iúdá agus Bhiniáimin agus teaghlach Eafráim, agus bhí Iosrael i gcruachás agus in éigean.
9 Y los hijos de Ammón pasaron el Jordán para hacer también guerra contra Judá, y contra Benjamín, y la casa de Ephraim: y fué Israel en gran manera afligido.
9 Dazu zogen die Kinder Ammon über den Jordan und stritten wider Juda, Benjamin und das Haus Ephraim, also daß Israel sehr geängstet ward.
10 Then the children of Israel, crying out to the Lord, said, Great is our sin against you, for we have given up our God and have been servants to the Baals.
10 Les enfants d'Israël crièrent à l'Éternel, en disant: Nous avons péché contre toi, car nous avons abandonné notre Dieu et nous avons servi les Baals.
10 Ansin ghlaoigh clann Iosrael ar an Tiarna agus dúradar: “Pheacaíomar i d'aghaidh, mar gur thréigeamar ár nDia agus gur fhónamar do na Bálaím.”
10 Y los hijos de Israel clamaron á Jehová, diciendo: Nosotros hemos pecado contra ti; porque hemos dejado á nuestro Dios, y servido á los Baales.
10 Da schrieen die Kinder Israel zu dem HERRN und sprachen: Wir haben an dir gesündigt; denn wir haben unsern Gott verlassen und den Baalim gedient.
11 And the Lord said to the children of Israel, Were not the Egyptians and the Amorites and the children of Ammon and the Philistines
11 L'Éternel dit aux enfants d'Israël: Ne vous ai-je pas délivrés des Égyptiens, des Amoréens, des fils d'Ammon, des Philistins?
11 D'fhreagair an Tiarna clann Iosrael: “Nár fhuascail mé sibh ó na hÉigiptigh, na hAmóraigh, na hAmónaigh, na Filistínigh,
11 Y Jehová respondió á los hijos de Israel: ¿No habéis sido oprimidos de Egipto, de los Amorrheos, de Losammonitas, de los Filisteos,
11 Aber der HERR sprach zu den Kindern Israel: Haben euch nicht auch gezwungen die Ägypter, die Amoriter, die Kinder Ammon, die Philister,
12 And the Zidonians and Amalek and Midian crushing you down, and in answer to your cry did I not give you salvation from their hands?
12 Et lorsque les Sidoniens, Amalek et Maon, vous opprimèrent, et que vous criâtes à moi, ne vous ai-je pas délivrés de leurs mains?
12 na Síodónaigh, Amáiléic agus Midián, nuair a rinne siadsan cos ar bolg oraibh agus gur ghlaoigh sibh orm?
12 De los de Sidón, de Amalec, y de Maón, y clamando á mí os he librado de sus manos?
12 die Sidonier, die Amalekiter und Maoniter, und ich half euch aus ihren Händen, da ihr zu mir schrieet?
13 But, for all this, you have given me up and have been servants to other gods: so I will be your saviour no longer.
13 Mais vous, vous m'avez abandonné, et vous avez servi d'autres dieux. C'est pourquoi je ne vous délivrerai plus.
13 Dá ainneoin sin, thréig sibh mise agus rinne sibh fónamh do dhéithe eile; uime sin ní dhéanfaidh mé fuascailt oraibh arís.
13 Mas vosotros me habéis dejado, y habéis servido á dioses ajenos: por tanto, yo no os libraré más.
13 Und doch habt ihr mich verlassen und andern Göttern gedient; darum will ich euch nicht mehr helfen.
14 Go, send up your cry for help to the gods of your selection; let them be your saviours in the time of your trouble.
14 Allez, invoquez les dieux que vous avez choisis; qu'ils vous délivrent au temps de votre détresse!
14 Imígí agus glaoigí ar na déithe is rogha libh! Déanaidís-sean sibh a fhuascailt in am an ghátair!”
14 Andad, y clamad á los dioses que os habéis elegido, que os libren en el tiempo de vuestra aflicción.
14 Geht hin und schreit die Götter an, die ihr erwählt habt; laßt euch dieselben helfen zur Zeit eurer Trübsal.
15 And the children of Israel said to the Lord, We are sinners; do to us whatever seems good to you: only give us salvation this day.
15 Les enfants d'Israël dirent à l'Éternel: Nous avons péché; traite-nous comme il te plaira. Seulement, daigne nous délivrer aujourd'hui!
15 D'fhreagair clann Iosrael an Tiarna: “Pheacaíomar! Déan do rogha rud linn, ach fuascail sinn, impímid ort, inniu féin!”
15 Y los hijos de Israel respondieron á Jehová: Hemos pecado; haz tú con nosotros como bien te pareciere: solamente que ahora nos libres en este día.
15 Aber die Kinder Israel sprachen zu dem HERRN: Wir haben gesündigt, mache es nur du mit uns, wie es dir gefällt; allein errette uns zu dieser Zeit.
16 So they put away the strange gods from among them, and became the Lord's servants; and his soul was angry because of the sorrows of Israel.
16 Et ils ôtèrent les dieux étrangers du milieu d'eux, et servirent l'Éternel, qui fut touché des maux d'Israël.
16 Chaitheadar uathu na déithe deoranta a bhí acu agus rinneadar fónamh don Tiarna, agus níorbh fhéidir dósan cur suas leis an ngéarleanúint ar Iosrael a thuilleadh.
16 Y quitaron de entre sí los dioses ajenos, y sirvieron á Jehová: y su alma fué angustiada á causa del trabajo de Israel.
16 Und sie taten von sich die fremden Götter und dienten dem HERRN. Und es jammerte ihn, daß Israel so geplagt ward.
17 Then the children of Ammon came together and put their army in position in Gilead. And the children of Israel came together and put their army in position in Mizpah.
17 Les fils d'Ammon se rassemblèrent et campèrent en Galaad, et les enfants d'Israël se rassemblèrent et campèrent à Mitspa.
17 Thionóil na hAmónaigh agus shuíodar a longfort i nGileád. Chruinnigh clann Iosrael agus shuíodar a longfort i Mizpeá.
17 Y juntándose los hijos de Ammón, asentaron campo en Galaad: juntáronse asimismo los hijos de Israel, y asentaron su campo en Mizpa.
17 Und die Kinder Ammon kamen zuhauf und lagerten sich in Gilead; aber die Kinder Israel versammelten sich und lagerten sich zu Mizpa.
18 And the people of Israel said to one another, Who will be the first to make an attack on the children of Ammon? We will make him head over all Gilead.
18 Le peuple, les chefs de Galaad se dirent l'un à l'autre: Quel est l'homme qui commencera l'attaque contre les fils d'Ammon? Il sera chef de tous les habitants de Galaad.
18 Ansin dúirt na daoine, ceannairí Ghileád, le chéile: “Cé chuirfidh ceann ar an gcath in aghaidh na nAmónach? Bíodh seisean i gceannas ar an muintir go léir atá ag cur fúthu i nGileád.”
18 Y los príncipes y el pueblo de Galaad dijeron el uno al otro: ¿Quién será el que comenzará la batalla contra los hijos de Ammón? él será cabeza sobre todos los que habitan en Galaad.
18 Und die Obersten des Volks zu Gilead sprachen untereinander: Welcher anfängt zu streiten wider die Kinder Ammon, der soll das Haupt sein über alle, die in Gilead wohnen.
