1 Then Moses and the responsible men of Israel gave the people these orders: Keep all the orders which I have given you this day;
1 Moïse et les anciens d'Israël donnèrent cet ordre au peuple: Observez tous les commandements que je vous prescris aujourd'hui.

1 Y Mando Moisés, con los ancianos de Israel, al pueblo, diciendo: Guardaréis todos los mandamientos que yo prescribo hoy.
1 Und Mose gebot samt den Ältesten Israels dem Volk und sprach: Haltet alle Gebote, die ich euch heute gebiete.
2 And on the day when you go over Jordan into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, put up great stones, coating them with building-paste,
2 Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain, pour entrer dans le pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne, tu dresseras de grandes pierres, et tu les enduiras de chaux.
2 An uair a théann sibh thar Iordáin isteach sa tír atá an Tiarna do Dhia a thabhairt duit, cuir líoga móra ina seasamh agus cuir brat aoil orthu;
2 Y será que, el día que pasareis el Jordán á la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, te has de levantar piedras grandes, las cuales revocarás con cal:
2 Und zu der Zeit, wenn ihr über den Jordan geht in das Land, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, geben wird, sollst du große Steine aufrichten und sie mit Kalk tünchen
3 And writing on them all the words of this law, after you have gone over; so that you may take the heritage which the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has said.
3 Tu écriras sur ces pierres toutes les paroles de cette loi, lorsque tu auras passé le Jourdain, pour entrer dans le pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne, pays où coulent le lait et le miel, comme te l'a dit l'Éternel, le Dieu de tes pères.
3 agus scríobh orthu focail uile an dlí seo a luaithe a rachaidh tú sall ar do shlí isteach sa tír atá an Tiarna do Dhia a thabhairt duit, tír ina bhfuil bainne agus mil ina slaoda faoi mar a gheall an Tiarna, Dia d'aithreacha, duit.
3 Y escribirás en ellas todas las palabras de esta ley, cuando hubieres pasado para entrar en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, tierra que fluye leche y miel, como Jehová el Dios de tus padres te ha dicho.
3 und darauf schreiben alle Worte dieses Gesetzes, wenn du hinüberkommst, auf daß du kommst in das Land, das der HERR, dein Gott, dir geben wird, ein Land darin Milch und Honig fließt, wie der HERR, deiner Väter Gott, dir verheißen hat.
4 And when you have gone over Jordan, you are to put up these stones, as I have said to you today, in Mount Ebal, and have them coated with building-paste.
4 Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain, vous dresserez sur le mont Ébal ces pierres que je vous ordonne aujourd'hui de dresser, et tu les enduiras de chaux.
4 Nuair a rachaidh sibh thar Iordáin, ní foláir daoibh na líoga seo a chur suas ar Shliabh Éabál mar a ordaím daoibh inniu, agus brat aoil a chur orthu.
4 Será pues, cuando hubieres pasado el Jordán, que levantaréis estas piedras que yo os mando hoy, en el monte de Ebal, y las revocarás con cal:
4 Wenn ihr nun über den Jordan geht, so sollt ihr solche Steine aufrichten (davon ich euch heute gebiete) auf dem Berge Ebal und mit Kalk tünchen.
5 There you are to make an altar to the Lord your God, of stones on which no iron instrument has been used.
5 Là, tu bâtiras un autel à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, un autel de pierres, sur lesquelles tu ne porteras point le fer;
5 Déan altóir san áit sin don Tiarna do Dhia de chlocha nár luigh aon uirlis iarainn orthu.
5 Y edificarás allí altar á Jehová tu Dios, altar de piedras: no alzarás sobre ellas hierro.
5 Und sollst daselbst dem HERRN, deinem Gott, einen steinernen Altar bauen, darüber kein Eisen fährt.
6 You are to make the altar of the Lord your God of uncut stones; offering on it burned offerings to the Lord your God:
6 tu bâtiras en pierres brutes l'autel de l'Éternel, ton Dieu. Tu offriras sur cet autel des holocaustes à l'Éternel, ton Dieu;
6 Tóg an altóir don Tiarna do Dhia as clocha gan cóiriú, agus ofráil íobairtí uileloiscthe uirthi don Tiarna do Dhia.
6 De piedras enteras edificarás el altar de Jehová tu Dios; y ofrecerás sobre él holocausto á Jehová tu Dios;
6 Von ganzen Steinen sollst du diesen Altar dem HERRN, deinem Gott, bauen und Brandopfer darauf opfern dem HERRN, deinem Gott.
7 And you are to make your peace-offerings, feasting there with joy before the Lord your God.
7 tu offriras des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et tu mangeras là et te réjouiras devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
7 Ofráil íobairtí comaoineach agus ith iad ansiúd agus bíodh lúcháir ort i láthair an Tiarna do Dhia.
7 Y sacrificarás pacíficos, y comerás allí; y alegrarte has delante de Jehová tu Dios.
7 Und sollst Dankopfer opfern und daselbst essen und fröhlich sein vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott.
8 And put on the stones all the words of this law, writing them very clearly.
8 Tu écriras sur ces pierres toutes les paroles de cette loi, en les gravant bien nettement.
8 Scríobh briathra uile an dlí seo ar na clocha go soiléir sofheicthe.”
8 Y escribirás en las piedras todas las palabras de esta ley muy claramente.
8 Und sollst auf die Steine alle Worte dieses Gesetzes schreiben, klar und deutlich.
9 Then Moses and the priests, the Levites, said to all Israel, Be quiet and give ear, O Israel; today you have become the people of the Lord your God.
9 Moïse et les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, parlèrent à tout Israël, et dirent: Israël, sois attentif et écoute! Aujourd'hui, tu es devenu le peuple de l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
9 Ansin dúirt Maois agus na sagairt Léivíteacha le hIosrael go léir: “Tabhair cluas, a Iosrael, agus éist. Inniu rinneadh pobal don Tiarna do Dhia díot.
9 Y Moisés, con los sacerdotes Levitas, habló á todo Israel, diciendo: Atiende y escucha, Israel: hoy eres hecho pueblo de Jehová tu Dios.
9 Und Mose und die Priester, die Leviten, redeten mit ganz Israel und sprachen: Merke und höre zu, Israel! Heute, dieses Tages, bist du ein Volk des HERRN, deines Gottes, geworden,
10 For this cause you are to give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, and do his orders and his laws which I give you this day.
10 Tu obéiras à la voix de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu mettras en pratique ses commandements et ses lois que je le prescris aujourd'hui.
10 Géill dá bhrí sin do ghlór an Tiarna do Dhia, agus coimeád a aitheanta agus a reachtanna a ordaím duit inniu.”
10 Oirás pues la voz de Jehová tu Dios, y cumplirás sus mandamientos y sus estatutos, que yo te ordeno hoy.
10 daß du der Stimme des HERRN, deines Gottes, gehorsam seist und tust nach seinen Geboten und Rechten, die ich dir heute gebiete.
11 That same day Moses said to the people,
11 Le même jour, Moïse donna cet ordre au peuple:

11 Y mandó Moisés al pueblo en aquel día, diciendo:
11 Und Mose gebot dem Volk desselben Tages und sprach:
12 These are to take their places on Mount Gerizim for blessing the people when you have gone over Jordan: Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Joseph and Benjamin;
12 Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain, Siméon, Lévi, Juda, Issacar, Joseph et Benjamin, se tiendront sur le mont Garizim, pour bénir le peuple;
12 “Nuair a rachaidh sibh thar Iordáin anonn seasaidís seo ar Shliabh Girizím chun an pobal a bheannú: Símeon, Léiví, Iúdá, Íosácár, Iósaef, agus Biniáimin.
12 Estos estarán sobre el monte de Gerizim para bendecir al pueblo, cuando hubiereis pasado el Jordán: Simeón, y Leví, y Judá, é Issachâr, y José y Benjamín.
12 Diese sollen stehen auf dem Berge Garizim, zu segnen das Volk, wenn ihr über den Jordan gegangen seid; Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isaschar, Joseph und Benjamin.
13 And these are to be on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
13 et Ruben, Gad, Aser, Zabulon, Dan et Nephthali, se tiendront sur le mont Ébal, pour prononcer la malédiction.
13 Agus seasaidís seo ar Shliabh Éabál don mhallacht: Reúbaen, Gád, Áiséar, Zabúlun, Dán, agus Naftáilí.
13 Y estos estarán para pronunciar la maldición en el de Ebal: Rubén, Gad, y Aser, y Zabulón, Dan, y Nephtalí.
13 Und diese sollen stehen auf dem Berge Ebal, zu fluchen Ruben, Gad, Asser, Sebulon, Dan und Naphthali.
14 Then the Levites are to say in a loud voice to all the men of Israel,
14 Et les lévites prendront la parole, et diront d'une voix haute à tout Israël:
14 Labhraíodh na Léivítigh ansin agus fógraídís in ard a gcinn do na hIosraelaigh:
14 Y hablarán los Levitas, y dirán á todo varón de Israel en alta voz:
14 Und die Leviten sollen anheben und sagen zu jedermann von Israel mit lauter Stimme:
15 Cursed is the man who makes any image of wood or stone or metal, disgusting to the Lord, the work of man's hands, and puts it up in secret. And let all the people say, So be it.
15 Maudit soit l'homme qui fait une image taillée ou une image en fonte, abomination de l'Éternel, oeuvre des mains d'un artisan, et qui la place dans un lieu secret! Et tout le peuple répondra, et dira: Amen!
15 ‘Go raibh mallacht ar an bhfear a dhéanfaidh dealbh shnoite nó leáite - rud is gráin leis an Tiarna - obair lámha ceardaí, agus a chuirfidh suas i bhfolach í.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
15 Maldito el hombre que hiciere escultura ó imagen de fundición, abominación á Jehová, obra de mano de artífice, y la pusiere en oculto. Y todo el pueblo responderá y dirá: Amén.
15 Verflucht sei, wer einen Götzen oder ein gegossenes Bild macht, einen Greuel des HERRN, ein Werk von den Händen der Werkmeister, und stellt es verborgen auf! Und alles Volk soll antworten und sagen: Amen.
16 Cursed is he who does not give honour to his father or mother. And let all the people say, So be it.
16 Maudit soit celui qui méprise son père et sa mère! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
16 ‘Go raibh mallacht ar an té a thugann tarcaisne dá athair nó dá mháthair.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
16 Maldito el que deshonrare á su padre ó á su madre. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
16 Verflucht sei, wer seinen Vater oder seine Mutter unehrt! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
17 Cursed is he who takes his neighbour's landmark from its place. And let all the people say, So be it.
17 Maudit soit celui qui déplace les bornes de son prochain! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
17 ‘Go raibh mallacht ar an té a chorraíonn marc teorann a chomharsan.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
17 Maldito el que redujere el término de su prójimo. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
17 Verflucht sei wer seines Nächsten Grenze verengert! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
18 Cursed is he by whom the blind are turned out of the way. And let all the people say, So be it.
18 Maudit soit celui qui fait égarer un aveugle dans le chemin! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
18 ‘Go raibh mallacht ar an té a chuireann an dall ar seachrán slí.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
18 Maldito el que hiciere errar al ciego en el camino. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
18 Verflucht sei, wer einen Blinden irren macht auf dem Wege! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
19 Cursed is he who gives a wrong decision in the cause of a man from a strange land, or of one without a father, or of a widow. And let all the people say, So be it.
19 Maudit soit celui qui porte atteinte au droit de l'étranger, de l'orphelin et de la veuve! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
19 ‘Go raibh mallacht ar an té a dhéanann cantáil ar chearta an deoraí, an dílleachta, agus na baintrí.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
19 Maldito el que torciere el derecho del extranjero, del huérfano, y de la viuda. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
19 Verflucht sei, wer das Recht des Fremdlings, des Waisen und der Witwe beugt! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
20 Cursed is he who has sex relations with his father's wife, for he has put shame on his father. And let all the people say, So be it.
20 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec la femme de son père, car il soulève la couverture de son père! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
20 ‘Go raibh mallacht ar an té a luíonn le bean a athar, agus a bhaineann beann bhrat a athar anuas di.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
20 Maldito el que se echare con la mujer de su padre; por cuanto descubrió el regazo de su padre. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
20 Verflucht sei, wer bei seines Vaters Weibe liegt, daß er aufdecke die Decke seines Vaters! und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
21 Cursed is he who has sex relations with any sort of beast. And let all the people say, So be it.
21 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec une bête quelconque! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
21 ‘Mallacht ar an té a luíonn le haon sórt ainmhí.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
21 Maldito el que tuviere parte con cualquiera bestia. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
21 Verflucht sei wer irgend bei einem Vieh liegt! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
22 Cursed is he who has sex relations with his sister, the daughter of his father or of his mother. And let all the people say, So be it.
22 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec sa soeur, fille de son père ou fille de sa mère! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
22 ‘Mallacht ar an té a luíonn lena dheirfiúr, iníon a athar nó iníon a mháthar.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
22 Maldito el que se echare con su hermana, hija de su padre, ó hija de su madre. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
22 Verflucht sei, wer bei seiner Schwester liegt, die seines Vaters oder seiner Mutter Tochter ist! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
23 Cursed is he who has sex relations with his mother-in-law. And let all the people say, So be it.
23 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec sa belle-mère! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
23 ‘Mallacht ar an té a luíonn le máthair a chéile.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’

24 Cursed is he who takes his neighbour's life secretly. And let all the people say, So be it.
24 Maudit soit celui qui frappe son prochain en secret! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
24 ‘Mallacht ar an té a bhuaileann a chomharsa faoi choim.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
24 Maldito el que hiriere á su prójimo ocultamente. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
24 Verflucht sei, wer seinen Nächsten heimlich erschlägt! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
25 Cursed is he who for a reward puts to death one who has done no wrong. And let all the people say, So be it.
25 Maudit soit celui qui reçoit un présent pour répandre le sang de l'innocent! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
25 ‘Mallacht ar an té a thógann breab chun neamhchiontach a bhású.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
25 Maldito el que recibiere don para herir de muerte al inocente. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
25 Verflucht sei, wer Geschenke nimmt, daß er unschuldiges Blut vergießt! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
26 Cursed is he who does not take this law to heart to do it. And let all the people say, So be it.
26 Maudit soit celui qui n'accomplit point les paroles de cette loi, et qui ne les met point en pratique! -Et tout le peuple dira: Amen!
26 ‘Mallacht ar an té nach ndaingníonn briathra an dlí trína gcomhlíonadh.’ Agus freagraíodh an pobal go léir: ‘Amen.’
26 Maldito el que no confirmare las palabras de esta ley para cumplirlas. Y dirá todo el pueblo: Amén.
26 Verflucht sei, wer nicht alle Worte dieses Gesetzes erfüllt, daß er darnach tue! Und alles Volk soll sagen: Amen.
