1 You are the children of the Lord your God: you are not to make cuts on your bodies or take off the hair on your brows in honour of the dead;

2 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has taken you to be his special people out of all the nations on the face of the earth.
2 Car tu es un peuple saint pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu; et l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a choisi, pour que tu fusses un peuple qui lui appartînt entre tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre.

2 Denn du bist ein heiliges Volk dem HERRN, deinem Gott; und der HERR hat dich erwählt, daß du sein Eigentum seist, aus allen Völkern, die auf Erden sind.
3 No disgusting thing may be your food.
3 Tu ne mangeras aucune chose abominable.

4 These are the beasts which you may have for food: the ox, the sheep, and the goat;

5 The hart, the gazelle, and the roe, the mountain goat and the pygarg and the antelope and the mountain sheep.

5 Hirsch, Reh, Büffel, Steinbock, Gemse, Auerochs und Elen;
6 Any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again, may be used for food.
6 Vous mangerez de tout animal qui a la corne fendue, le pied fourchu, et qui rumine.

6 und alles Tier, das seine Klauen spaltet und wiederkäut, sollt ihr essen.
7 But even among these, there are some which may not be used for food: such as the camel, the hare, and the coney, which are unclean to you, because, though their food comes back, the horn of their feet is not parted in two.
7 Mais vous ne mangerez pas de ceux qui ruminent seulement, ou qui ont la corne fendue et le pied fourchu seulement. Ainsi, vous ne mangerez pas le chameau, le lièvre et le daman, qui ruminent, mais qui n'ont pas la corne fendue: vous les regarderez comme impurs.

7 Empero estos no comeréis de los que rumian, ó tienen uña hendida: camello, y liebre, y conejo, porque rumian, mas no tienen uña hendida, os serán inmundos;
7 Das sollt ihr aber nicht essen von dem, das wiederkäut, und von dem, das die Klauen spaltet: das Kamel, der Hase und Kaninchen, die wiederkäuen und doch ihre Klauen nicht spalten, sollen euch unrein sein;
8 And the pig is unclean to you, because though it has a division in the horn of its foot, its food does not come back; their flesh may not be used for food or their dead bodies touched by you.
8 Vous ne mangerez pas le porc, qui a la corne fendue, mais qui ne rumine pas: vous le regarderez comme impur. Vous ne mangerez pas de leur chair, et vous ne toucherez pas leurs corps morts.
8 Mar an gcéanna leis an muc - fág go scoilteann sí an chrúb, ní chognaíonn sí an chíor; bíodh sí neamhghlan agaibh. Ná hithigí feoil a leithéidí sin agus ná bainigí lena gconablach.
8 Ni puerco: porque tiene uña hendida, mas no rumia, os será inmundo. De la carne de éstos no comeréis, ni tocaréis sus cuerpos muertos.
8 das Schwein, ob es wohl die Klauen spaltet, so wiederkäut es doch nicht: es soll euch unrein sein. Ihr Fleisch sollt ihr nicht essen, und ihr Aas sollt ihr nicht anrühren,
9 And of the things living in the waters, you may take all those who have wings for swimming with and skins formed of thin plates.
9 Voici les animaux dont vous mangerez parmi tous ceux qui sont dans les eaux: vous mangerez de tous ceux qui ont des nageoires et des écailles.

10 But any which have no skin-plates or wings for swimming, you may not take; they are unclean for you.
10 Mais vous ne mangerez d'aucun de ceux qui n'ont pas des nageoires et des écailles: vous les regarderez comme impurs.

20 But all clean birds you may take.

21 You may not have as food anything which has come to a natural death; the man from another country who is living with you may take it for food, or you may get a price for it from one of another nation; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The young goat is not to be cooked in its mother's milk.
21 Vous ne mangerez d'aucune bête morte; tu la donneras à l'étranger qui sera dans tes portes, afin qu'il la mange, ou tu la vendras à un étranger; car tu es un peuple saint pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu. Tu ne feras point cuire un chevreau dans le lait de sa mère.
21 “Ná hithigí aon ainmhí a fuair bás uaidh féin. Tabhair é mar bhia don deoraí atá ag cur faoi i do bhailte, nó díol é le coimhthíoch: óir is pobal naofa thú don Tiarna do Dhia. Ná bruith meannán i mbainne a mháthar. Deachúna
21 Ninguna cosa mortecina comeréis: al extranjero que está en tus poblaciones la darás, y él la comerá: ó véndela al extranjero; porque tú eres pueblo santo á Jehová tu Dios. No cocerás el cabrito en la leche de su madre.
21 Ihr sollt kein Aas essen-dem Fremdling in deinem Tor magst du es geben, daß er's esse oder daß er's verkaufe einem Ausländer; denn du bist ein heiliges Volk dem HERRN, deinem Gott. Du sollst das Böcklein nicht kochen in der Milch seiner Mutter.
22 Put on one side a tenth of all the increase of your seed, produced year by year.

22 Du sollst alle Jahre den Zehnten absondern alles Ertrages deiner Saat, der aus deinem Acker kommt,
23 And make a feast before the Lord your God, in the place which is to be marked out, where his name will be for ever, of the tenth part of your grain and your wine and your oil, and the first births of your herds and your flocks; so that you may have the fear of the Lord your God in your hearts at all times.
23 Et tu mangeras devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu'il choisira pour y faire résider son nom, la dîme de ton blé, de ton moût et de ton huile, et les premiers-nés de ton gros et de ton menu bétail, afin que tu apprennes à craindre toujours l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
23 agus i láthair an Tiarna do Dhia, san áit a thoghfaidh sé mar áitreabh dá ainm, ith deachú d'arbhair, do fhíona, d'ola, agus céadtorthaí do thána agus do thréada d'fhonn go bhfoghlaimeofá conas eagla an Tiarna do Dhia a bheith ort de shíor.
23 Y comerás delante de Jehová tu Dios en el lugar que él escogiere para hacer habitar allí su nombre, el diezmo de tu grano, de tu vino, y de tu aceite, y los primerizos de tus manadas, y de tus ganados, para que aprendas á temer á Jehová tu Dios todos los días.
23 und sollst davon essen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, an dem Ort, den er erwählt, daß sein Name daselbst wohne, nämlich vom Zehnten deines Getreides, deines Mostes, deines Öls und von der Erstgeburt deiner Rinder und deiner Schafe, auf daß du lernst fürchten den HERRN, deinen Gott, dein Leben lang.
24 And if the way is so long that you are not able to take these things to the place marked out by the Lord your God for his name, when he has given you his blessing, because it is far away from you;
24 Peut-être lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura béni, le chemin sera-t-il trop long pour que tu puisses transporter ta dîme, à cause de ton éloignement du lieu qu'aura choisi l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y faire résider son nom.
24 Má bhíonn an t‑aistear rófhada duit, agus mura féidir duit - nuair a bheannaíonn an Tiarna do Dhia thú - do dheachú a bhreith ann mar go bhfuil an áit a thoghann an Tiarna do Dhia mar áitreabh dá ainm, rófhada ó bhaile,
24 Y si el camino fuere tan largo que tú no puedas llevarlo por él, por estar lejos de ti el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido para poner en él su nombre, cuando Jehová tu Dios te bendijere,
24 Wenn aber des Weges dir zu viel ist, daß du solches hintragen kannst, darum daß der Ort dir zu ferne ist, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählt hat, daß er seinen Namen daselbst wohnen lasse (denn der HERR, dein Gott, hat dich gesegnet):
25 Then let these things be exchanged for money, and, taking the money in your hand, go to the place marked out by the Lord your God for himself;
25 Alors, tu échangeras ta dîme contre de l'argent, tu serreras cet argent dans ta main, et tu iras au lieu que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi.
25 ansin malartaigh an deachú ar airgead, agus beir greim docht i do láimh ar an airgead agus téigh chun na háite a thogh an Tiarna do Dhia;
25 Entonces venderlo has, y atarás el dinero en tu mano, y vendrás al lugar que Jehová tu Dios escogiere;
25 so gib's hin um Geld und fasse das Geld in deine Hand und gehe an den Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählt hat,
26 And with the money get whatever you have a desire for, oxen or sheep or wine or strong drink, whatever your soul's desire may be: and make a feast there before the Lord your God, and be glad, you and all your house;
26 Là, tu achèteras avec l'argent tout ce que tu désireras, des boeufs, des brebis, du vin et des liqueurs fortes, tout ce qui te fera plaisir, tu mangeras devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu te réjouiras, toi et ta famille.
26 caith an t‑airgead ar do rogha rud ansiúd - daimh, nó caoirigh, nó fíon nó deoch chrua, nó cibé ní is mian leat; ith ansiúd i láthair an Tiarna do Dhia, agus bíodh lúcháir ort féin agus ar do theaghlach.
26 Y darás el dinero por todo lo que deseare tu alma, por vacas, ó por ovejas, ó por vino, ó por sidra, ó por cualquier cosa que tu alma te demandare: y comerás allí delante de Jehová tu Dios, y te alegrarás tú y tu familia.
26 und gib das Geld um alles, was deiner Seele gelüstet, es sei um Rinder, Schafe, Wein, starken Trank oder um alles, das deine Seele wünscht, und iß daselbst vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, und sei fröhlich, du und dein Haus
27 And give a thought to the Levite who is living among you, for he has no part or heritage in the land.
27 Tu ne délaisseras point le Lévite qui sera dans tes portes, car il n'a ni part ni héritage avec toi.
27 Ná déan faillí ar an Léivíteach a bhfuil cónaí air i do bhailte, óir níl cuid ná oidhreacht aige leat.
27 Y no desampararás al Levita que habitare en tus poblaciones; porque no tiene parte ni heredad contigo.
27 und der Levit, der in deinem Tor ist (den sollst du nicht verlassen, denn er hat kein Teil noch Erbe mit dir).
28 At the end of every three years take a tenth part of all your increase for that year, and put it in store inside your walls:
28 Au bout de trois ans, tu sortiras toute la dîme de tes produits pendant la troisième année, et tu la déposeras dans tes portes.
28 “Ag deireadh gach tríú bliain, tóg deachúna uile d'fhómhair don bhliain sin agus cuir i dtaisce i do bhailte.
28 Al cabo de cada tres años sacarás todo el diezmo de tus productos de aquel año, y lo guardarás en tus ciudades:
28 Alle drei Jahre sollst du aussondern den Zehnten deines Ertrages desselben Jahrs und sollst's lassen in deinem Tor.
29 And the Levite, because he has no part or heritage in the land, and the man from a strange country, and the child who has no father, and the widow, who are living among you, will come and take food and have enough; and so the blessing of the Lord your God will be on you in everything you do.
29 Alors viendront le Lévite, qui n'a ni part ni héritage avec toi, l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve, qui seront dans tes portes, et ils mangeront et se rassasieront, afin que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te bénisse dans tous les travaux que tu entreprendras de tes mains.
29 Ansin an Léivíteach [ós rud é go bhfuil sé gan chuid gan oidhreacht farat], agus an deoraí, agus an dílleachta, agus an bhaintreach a bhfuil cónaí orthu i do bhailte, tiocfaidh siad agus íosfaidh siad agus beidh a sáith acu. Beannóidh an Tiarna do Dhia thú dá chionn sin cibé gnó a bhíonn idir lámha agat.
29 Y vendrá el Levita, que no tiene parte ni heredad contigo, y el extranjero, y el huérfano, y la viuda, que hubiere en tus poblaciones, y comerán y serán saciados; para que Jehová tu Dios te bendiga en toda obra de tus manos que hicieres.
29 So soll kommen der Levit (der kein Teil noch Erbe mit dir hat) und der Fremdling und der Waise und die Witwe, die in deinem Tor sind, und essen und sich sättigen, auf daß dich der HERR, dein Gott, segne in allen Werken deiner Hand, die du tust.
