1 Give ear, O Israel: today you are to go over Jordan, to take the heritage of nations greater and stronger than yourselves, and towns of great size with walls as high as heaven;
1 Écoute, Israël! Tu vas aujourd'hui passer le Jourdain, pour te rendre maître de nations plus grandes et plus puissantes que toi, de villes grandes et fortifiées jusqu'au ciel,
1 “Éist, a Iosrael! Tá tú ar tí dul thar an Iordáin inniu, chun ciníocha is mó agus is treise ná thú féin a chur as seilbh agus cathracha móra atá daingnithe go hard na spéire a ghabháil.
1 Oye, Israel: tú estás hoy para pasar el Jordán, para entrar á poseer gentes más numerosas y más fuertes que tú, ciudades grandes y encastilladas hasta el cielo,
1 Höre, Israel, du wirst heute über den Jordan gehen, daß du hineinkommest, einzunehmen das Land der Völker, die größer und stärker sind denn du, große Städte vermauert bis in den Himmel,
2 A people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, of whom you have knowledge and of whom it has been said, All are forced to give way before the sons of Anak.
2 d'un peuple grand et de haute taille, les enfants d'Anak, que tu connais, et dont tu as entendu dire: Qui pourra tenir contre les enfants d'Anak?
2 Árrachtaigh mhóra arda clann seo Anácaím mar is eol duit; chuala tú an nath ina dtaobh: ‘Cé a d'fhéadfadh seasamh in aghaidh chlann Anác?’
2 Un pueblo grande y alto, hijos de gigantes, de los cuales tienes tú conocimiento, y has oído decir: ¿Quién se sostendrá delante de los hijos del gigante?
2 ein großes, hohes Volk, die Enakiter, die du kennst, von denen du auch gehört hast: Wer kann wider die Kinder Enak bestehen?
3 Be certain then today that it is the Lord your God who goes over before you like an all-burning fire; he will send destruction on them, crushing them before you; and you will send them in flight, putting an end to them quickly, as the Lord has said.
3 Sache aujourd'hui que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, marchera lui-même devant toi comme un feu dévorant, c'est lui qui les détruira, qui les humiliera devant toi; et tu les chasseras, tu les feras périr promptement, comme l'Éternel te l'a dit.
3 Bí deimhin de dá bhrí sin inniu gurb é an Tiarna féin, do Dhia, a rachaidh romhat, mar thine loiscneach; scriosfaidh sé iad agus cloífidh sé romhat iad; déanfaidh tú iad a dhíbirt dá bhrí sin agus a mharú gan mhoill faoi mar a gheall an Tiarna duit.
3 Sabe, pues, hoy que Jehová tu Dios es el que pasa delante de ti, fuego consumidor, que los destruirá y humillará delante de ti: y tú los echarás, y los destruirás luego, como Jehová te ha dicho.
3 So sollst du wissen heute, daß der HERR, dein Gott, vor dir her geht, ein verzehrendes Feuer. Er wird sie vertilgen und wird sie unterwerfen vor dir her, und du wirst sie vertreiben und umbringen bald, wie dir der HERR geredet hat.
4 And after the Lord has sent them in flight from before you, say not in your heart, Because of my righteousness the Lord has given me this land; when it is because of their evil-doing that the Lord is driving these nations out before you.
4 Lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les chassera devant toi, ne dis pas en ton coeur: C'est à cause de ma justice que l'Éternel me fait entrer en possession de ce pays. Car c'est à cause de la méchanceté de ces nations que l'Éternel les chasse devant toi.
4 Ná habair i do chroí tar éis don Tiarna do Dhia iad a dhíbirt romhat: ‘Is de bharr mo fhíréantachta féin a chuir an Tiarna i seilbh na tíre seo mé,’ tráth is gur de bharr a gcoirpeachta atá an Tiarna ag díbirt na gciníocha sin romhat.
4 No discurras en tu corazón cuando Jehová tu Dios los habrá echado de delante de ti, diciendo: Por mi justicia me ha metido Jehová á poseer esta tierra; pues por la impiedad de estas gentes Jehová las echa de delante de ti.
4 Wenn nun der HERR, dein Gott, sie ausgestoßen hat vor dir her, so sprich nicht in deinem Herzen: Der HERR hat mich hereingeführt, dies Land einzunehmen, um meiner Gerechtigkeit willen, so doch der HERR diese Heiden vertreibt vor dir her um ihres gottlosen Wesens willen.
5 Not for your righteousness or because your hearts are upright are you going in to take their land; but because of the evil-doing of these nations the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and to give effect to his oath to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
5 Non, ce n'est point à cause de ta justice et de la droiture de ton coeur que tu entres en possession de leur pays; mais c'est à cause de la méchanceté de ces nations que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les chasse devant toi, et c'est pour confirmer la parole que l'Éternel a jurée à tes pères, à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob.
5 Ní de bharr do fhíréantachta ná do dhúthracht croí atá tú ag dul i seilbh na tíre seo leo, ach de bharr choirpeacht na gciníocha seo tá an Tiarna do Dhia á dhíbirt romhat agus chun go gcoimeádfadh sé an briathar a mhionnaigh sé do d'aithreacha d'Abrahám, d'Íosác, agus do Iacób.
5 No por tu justicia, ni por la rectitud de tu corazón entras a poseer la tierra de ellos; mas por la impiedad de estas gentes Jehová tu Dios las echa de delante de ti, y por confirmar la palabra que Jehová juró á tus padres Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob.
5 Denn du kommst nicht herein, ihr Land einzunehmen, um deiner Gerechtigkeit und deines aufrichtigen Herzens willen; sondern der HERR, dein Gott, vertreibt diese Heiden um ihres gottlosen Wesens willen, daß er das Wort halte, das der HERR geschworen hat deinen Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob.
6 Be certain then that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land as a reward for your righteousness; for you are a stiff-necked people.
6 Sache donc que ce n'est point à cause de ta justice que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne ce bon pays pour que tu le possèdes; car tu es un peuple au cou roide.
6 Bí lándeimhin de, más ea, nach de bharr do fhíréantachta atá an fearann fónta seo á thabhairt duit mar shealúchas ag an Tiarna do Dhia, óir is ceanndána an pobal thú. Horaeb
6 Por tanto, sabe que no por tu justicia Jehová tu Dios te da esta buena tierra para poseerla; que pueblo duro de cerviz eres tú.
6 So wisse nun, daß der HERR, dein Gott, dir nicht um deiner Gerechtigkeit willen dies gute Land gibt einzunehmen, sintemal du ein halsstarriges Volk bist.
7 Keep well in mind how you made the Lord your God angry in the waste land; from the day when you went out of Egypt till you came to this place, you have gone against the orders of the Lord.
7 Souviens-toi, n'oublie pas de quelle manière tu as excité la colère de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le désert. Depuis le jour où tu es sorti du pays d'Égypte jusqu'à votre arrivée dans ce lieu, vous avez été rebelles contre l'Éternel.
7 “Cuimhnigh air agus ná déan dearmad de conas mar a ghriog tú an Tiarna do Dhia chun feirge san fhásach. Ón lá a tháinig tú amach as tír na hÉigipte go dtí gur tháinig tú chun na háite seo, bhí sibh i gceannairc in aghaidh an Tiarna.
7 Acuérdate, no te olvides que has provocado á ira á Jehová tu Dios en el desierto: desde el día que saliste de la tierra de Egipto, hasta que entrasteis en este lugar, habéis sido rebeldes á Jehová.
7 Gedenke, und vergiß nicht, wie du den HERRN, deinen Gott, erzürntest in der Wüste. Von dem Tage an, da du aus Ägyptenland zogst, bis ihr gekommen seid an diesen Ort, seid ihr ungehorsam gewesen dem HERRN.
8 Again in Horeb you made the Lord angry, and in his wrath he would have put an end to you.
8 A Horeb, vous excitâtes la colère de l'Éternel; et l'Éternel s'irrita contre vous, et eut la pensée de vous détruire.
8 Fiú ag Horaeb, ghriog tú an Tiarna agus bhí an Tiarna i bhfearg leat chomh mór sin go raibh sé ullamh sibh a mhilleadh.
8 Y en Horeb provocasteis á ira á Jehová, y enojóse Jehová contra vosotros para destruiros.
8 Denn am Horeb erzürntet ihr den HERRN also, daß er vor Zorn euch vertilgen wollte,
9 When I had gone up into the mountain to be given the stones on which was recorded the agreement which the Lord made with you, I was on the mountain for forty days and forty nights without taking food or drinking water.
9 Lorsque je fus monté sur la montagne, pour prendre les tables de pierre, les tables de l'alliance que l'Éternel a traitée avec vous, je demeurai sur la montagne quarante jours et quarante nuits, sans manger de pain et sans boire d'eau;
9 Ghabh mé suas faoin sliabh chun na cláir chloiche, cláir an chonartha a bhí an Tiarna a dhéanamh libh, a fháil. D'fhan mé daichead lá agus daichead oíche ar an sliabh, gan greim bia a ithe nó bolgam uisce a ól.
9 Cuando yo subí al monte para recibir las tablas de piedra, las tablas del pacto que Jehová hizo con vosotros, estuve entonces en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, sin comer pan ni beber agua:
9 da ich auf den Berg gegangen war, die steinernen Tafeln zu empfangen, die Tafeln des Bundes, den der HERR mit euch machte, und ich vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte auf dem Berge blieb und kein Brot aß und kein Wasser trank
10 And the Lord gave me the two stones with writing on them done by the finger of God: on them were recorded all the words which the Lord said to you on the mountain out of the heart of the fire, on the day of the great meeting.
10 et l'Éternel me donna les deux tables de pierre écrites du doigt de Dieu, et contenant toutes les paroles que l'Éternel vous avait dites sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, le jour de l'assemblée.
10 Thug an Tiarna an dá chlár chloiche dom, agus inscríbhinn ó mhéar Dé orthu, agus na briathra go léir orthu a labhair an Tiarna libh ar an sliabh ó lár na tine lá an Tionóil.
10 Y dióme Jehová las dos tablas de piedra escritas con el dedo de Dios; y en ellas estaba escrito conforme á todas las palabras que os habló Jehová en el monte de en medio del fuego, el día de la asamblea.
10 und mir der HERR die zwei steinernen Tafeln gab, mit dem Finger Gottes beschrieben, und darauf alle Worte, die der HERR mit euch aus dem Feuer auf dem Berge geredet hatte am Tage der Versammlung.
11 Then at the end of forty days and forty nights the Lord gave me those stones, the stones of the agreement.
11 Ce fut au bout des quarante jours et des quarante nuits que l'Éternel me donna les deux tables de pierre, les tables de l'alliance.
11 Agus ag deireadh an daichead lá agus an daichead oíche, tar éis dó an dá chlár chloiche, cláir an chonartha, a thabhairt dom,
11 Y fué al cabo de los cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, que Jehová me dió dos las tablas de piedra, las tablas del pacto.
11 Und nach den vierzig Tagen und vierzig Nächten gab mir der HERR die zwei steinernen Tafeln des Bundes
12 And the Lord said to me, Get up now, and go down quickly from this place; for the people you have taken out of Egypt have given themselves over to evil; they have quickly been turned from the way in which I gave them orders to go; they have made themselves a metal image.
12 L'Éternel me dit alors: Lève-toi, descends en hâte d'ici; car ton peuple, que tu as fait sortir d'Égypte, s'est corrompu. Ils se sont promptement écartés de la voie que je leur avais prescrite; ils se sont fait une image de fonte.
12 dúirt an Tiarna liom: ‘Fág an áit seo agus imigh leat síos go tapa, óir an pobal a thug tú amach as an Éigipt, tá feall déanta acu. Ba bheag an mhoill orthu claonadh ón tslí a d'aithin mé dóibh; tá íol de mhiotal leáite déanta acu dóibh féin.’
12 Y díjome Jehová: Levántate, desciende presto de aquí; que tu pueblo que sacaste de Egipto se ha corrompido: pronto se han apartado del camino que yo les mandé: hanse hecho una efigie de fundición.
12 und sprach zu mir: Mache dich auf, gehe eilend hinab von hinnen; denn dein Volk, das du aus Ägypten geführt hast, hat's verderbt. Sie sind schnell getreten von dem Wege, den ich ihnen geboten habe: sie haben sich ein gegossenes Bild gemacht.
13 And then the Lord said to me, I have seen that this people is stiff-necked:
13 L'Éternel me dit: Je vois que ce peuple est un peuple au cou roide.

13 Y hablóme Jehová, diciendo: He visto ese pueblo, y he aquí, que él es pueblo duro de cerviz:
13 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Ich sehe, daß dies Volk ein halsstarriges Volk ist.
14 Let me send destruction on them till their very name is cut off; and I will make of you a nation greater and stronger than they.
14 Laisse-moi les détruire et effacer leur nom de dessous les cieux; et je ferai de toi une nation plus puissante et plus nombreuse que ce peuple.
14 Lig dom iad a mhilleadh, agus a n‑ainm a scrios ó faoi neamh, agus náisiún is treise agus is mó ná iad a dhéanamh díot.’
14 Déjame que los destruya, y raiga su nombre de debajo del cielo; que yo te pondré sobre gente fuerte y mucha más que ellos.
14 Laß ab von mir, daß ich sie vertilge und ihren Namen austilge unter dem Himmel; ich will aus dir ein stärkeres uns größeres Volk machen, denn dieses ist.
15 So turning round I came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire; and the two stones of the agreement were in my hands.
15 Je retournai et je descendis de la montagne tout en feu, les deux tables de l'alliance dans mes deux mains.
15 Chas mé agus síos liom ón sliabh arís agus bhí an sliabh faoi bharr lasrach agus bhí dhá chlár an chonartha i mo lámha.
15 Y volví y descendí del monte, el cual ardía en fuego, con las tablas del pacto en mis dos manos.
15 Und als ich mich wandte und von dem Berge ging, der mit Feuer brannte, und die zwei Tafeln des Bundes auf meinen Händen hatte,
16 And I saw that you had done evil against the Lord, and had made for yourselves a metal image of a young ox: you had quickly been turned from the way in which the Lord had given you orders to go.
16 Je regardai, et voici, vous aviez péché contre l'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous vous étiez fait un veau de fonte, vous vous étiez promptement écartés de la voie que vous avait prescrite l'Éternel.
16 D'fhéach mé uaim, agus b'shiúd sibhse agus peaca déanta agaibh in aghaidh an Tiarna bhur nDia; bhí lao de mhiotal leáite déanta agaibh daoibh féin; níorbh fhada an mhoill oraibh claonadh ón tslí a d'aithin an Tiarna daoibh.
16 Y miré, y he aquí habíais pecado contra Jehová vuestro Dios: os habíais hecho un becerro de fundición, apartándoos presto del camino que Jehová os había mandado.
16 da sah ich, und siehe, da hattet ihr euch an dem HERRN, eurem Gott, versündigt, daß ihr euch ein gegossenes Kalb gemacht hattet und schnell von dem Wege getreten wart, den euch der HERR geboten hatte.
17 And I let the stones go from my hands, and they were broken before your eyes.
17 Je saisis les deux tables, je les jetai de mes mains, et je les brisai sous vos yeux.
17 Rug mé greim dá bhrí sin ar an dá chlár agus chaith mé síos le mo dhá láimh iad agus bhris os bhur gcomhair iad.
17 Entonces tomé las dos tablas, y arrojélas de mis dos manos, y quebrélas delante de vuestros ojos.
17 Da faßte ich beide Tafeln und warf sie aus meinen Händen und zerbrach sie vor euren Augen
18 And I went down on my face before the Lord, as at the first, for forty days and forty nights, without taking food or drinking water, because of all your sin, in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord and moving him to wrath.
18 Je me prosternai devant l'Éternel, comme auparavant, quarante jours et quarante nuits, sans manger de pain et sans boire d'eau, à cause de tous les péchés que vous aviez commis en faisant ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, pour l'irriter.
18 Ansin thit mé ar mo bhéal agus ar mo fhiacla i láthair an Tiarna; dála na huaire roimhe sin, chaith mé daichead lá agus daichead oíche mar sin gan greim bia a ithe, ná bolgam uisce a ól, ar son an pheaca go léir a rinne sibh ag déanamh cionta is fuath leis an Tiarna, agus á ghriogadh chun feirge.
18 Y postréme delante de Jehová, como antes, cuarenta días y cuarenta noches: no comí pan ni bebí agua, á causa de todo vuestro pecado que habíais cometido haciendo mal en ojos de Jehová para enojarlo.
18 und fiel nieder vor dem HERRN, wie zuerst, vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte, und aß kein Brot und trank kein Wasser um all eurer Sünden willen, die ihr getan hattet, da ihr solches Übel tatet vor dem HERRN, ihn zu erzürnen.
19 For I was full of fear because of the wrath of the Lord which was burning against you, with your destruction in view. But again the Lord's ear was open to my prayer.
19 Car j'étais effrayé à la vue de la colère et de la fureur dont l'Éternel était animé contre vous jusqu'à vouloir vous détruire. Mais l'Éternel m'exauça encore cette fois.
19 Ba eagal liom an cuthach agus an fraoch feirge a spreag an Tiarna chomh mór sin i bhur n‑aghaidh, go raibh fonn air sibh a scrios. Ach d'éist an Tiarna liom an uair sin leis.
19 Porque temí á causa del furor y de la ira con que Jehová estaba enojado contra vosotros para destruiros. Pero Jehová me oyó aún esta vez.
19 Denn ich fürchtete mich vor dem Zorn und Grimm, mit dem der HERR über euch erzürnt war, daß er euch vertilgen wollte. Aber der HERR erhörte mich auch damals.
20 And the Lord, in his wrath, would have put Aaron to death: and I made prayer for Aaron at the same time.
20 L'Éternel était aussi très irrité contre Aaron, qu'il voulait faire périr, et pour qui j'intercédai encore dans ce temps-là.
20 Bhí an Tiarna i bhfeirg le hÁrón chomh maith, agus réidh le hé a scrios, agus ghuigh mé ar son Árón chomh maith.
20 Contra Aarón también se enojó Jehová en gran manera para destruirlo: y también oré por Aarón entonces.
20 Auch war der HERR sehr zornig über Aaron, also daß er ihn vertilgen wollte; aber ich bat auch für Aaron zur selbigen Zeit.
21 And I took your sin, the image which you had made, and put it in the fire and had it hammered and crushed very small till it was only dust: and the dust I put in the stream flowing down from the mountain.
21 Je pris le veau que vous aviez fait, ce produit de votre péché, je le brûlai au feu, je le broyai jusqu'à ce qu'il fût réduit en poudre, et je jetai cette poudre dans le torrent qui descend de la montagne.
21 Ansin thóg mé an saothar peaca, an lao a bhí déanta agaibh, agus rinne mé é a loscadh agus a bhriseadh ina smidiríní, agus a mheilt ina luaithreach mín, agus a luaithreach a chaitheamh sa sruthán a shníonn ón sliabh anuas. Tabaerá
21 Y tomé vuestro pecado, el becerro que habíais hecho, y quemélo en el fuego, y lo desmenucé moliéndole muy bien, hasta que fué reducido á polvo: y eché el polvo de él en el arroyo que descendía del monte.
21 Aber eure Sünde, das Kalb, das ihr gemacht hattet, nahm ich und zerschmelzte es mit Feuer und zerschlug es und zermalmte es, bis es Staub ward und warf den Staub in den Bach, der vom Berge fließt.
22 Again at Taberah and at Massah and at Kibroth-hattaavah you made the Lord angry.
22 A Tabeéra, à Massa, et à Kibroth Hattaava, vous excitâtes la colère de l'Éternel.
22 “Chuir sibh fearg chomh maith ar an Tiarna ag Tabaerá agus ag Masá agus ag Ciobrot Hatavá.
22 También en Tabera, y en Massa, y en Kibroth-hataavah, enojasteis á Jehová.
22 So erzürntet ihr den HERRN auch zu Thabeera und zu Massa und bei den Lustgräbern.
23 And when the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and take the land which I have given you; you went against the orders of the Lord your God, and had no faith in him, and would not give ear to his voice.
23 Et lorsque l'Éternel vous envoya à Kadès Barnéa, en disant: Montez, et prenez possession du pays que je vous donne! vous fûtes rebelles à l'ordre de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous n'eûtes point foi en lui, et vous n'obéîtes point à sa voix.
23 Agus nuair ab áil leis an Tiarna go bhfágfadh sibh Cáidéis Bairnéa, á rá: ‘Suas libh agus gabhaigí seilbh ar an tír a thug mé daoibh,’ ansin rinne sibh ceannairc in aghaidh ordú an Tiarna bhur nDia; níor chreid sibh ann ná níor éist sibh lena ghlór.
23 Y cuando Jehová os envió desde Cades-barnea, diciendo: Subid y poseed la tierra que yo os he dado; también fuisteis rebeldes al dicho de Jehová vuestro Dios, y no lo creisteis, ni obedecisteis á su voz.
23 Und da er euch aus Kades-Barnea sandte und sprach: Gehet hinauf und nehmet das Land ein, das ich euch gegeben habe! wart ihr ungehorsam dem Mund des HERRN, eures Gottes, und glaubtet an ihn nicht und gehorchtet seiner Stimme nicht.
24 From the day when I first had knowledge of you, you have gone against the word of the Lord.
24 Vous avez été rebelles contre l'Éternel depuis que je vous connais.
24 Tá sibh i gceannairc in aghaidh an Tiarna ón lá a chuir mé aithne oraibh.
24 Rebeldes habéis sido á Jehová desde el día que yo os conozco.
24 Denn ihr seid ungehorsam dem HERRN gewesen, solange ich euch gekannt habe.
25 So I went down on my face in prayer before the Lord for forty days and forty nights as I did at first; because the Lord had said that he would put an end to you.
25 Je me prosternai devant l'Éternel, je me prosternai quarante jours et quarante nuits, parce que l'Éternel avait dit qu'il voulait vous détruire.
25 “Thit mé ar mo bhéal agus ar mo fhiacla os comhair an Tiarna agus d'fhan mé mar sin ar feadh an daichead lá agus an daichead oíche sin mar dúirt an Tiarna go scriosfadh sé sibh.
25 Postréme, pues, delante de Jehová cuarenta días y cuarenta noches que estuve postrado; porque Jehová dijo que os había de destruir.
25 Also fiel ich nieder vor dem HERRN die vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte, die ich dalag; denn der HERR sprach, er wollte euch vertilgen.
26 And I made prayer to the Lord and said, O Lord God, do not send destruction on your people and your heritage, to whom, by your great power, you have given salvation, whom you have taken out of Egypt by the strength of your hand.
26 Je priai l'Éternel, et je dis: Seigneur Éternel, ne détruis pas ton peuple, ton héritage, que tu as racheté dans ta grandeur, que tu as fait sortir d'Égypte par ta main puissante.
26 Ghuigh mé chun an Tiarna dá bhrí sin: ‘A Thiarna Dia,’ arsa mé, ‘ná scrios do phobal, d'oidhreacht a d'fhuascail tú le do mhórgacht, agus a thug tú amach as an Éigipt le do láimh láidir.
26 Y oré á Jehová, diciendo: Oh Señor Jehová, no destruyas tu pueblo y tu heredad que has redimido con tu grandeza, al cual sacaste de Egipto con mano fuerte.
26 Ich aber bat den HERRN und sprach: HERR HERR, verderbe dein Volk und dein Erbteil nicht, das du durch deine große Kraft erlöst und mit mächtiger Hand aus Ägypten geführt hast!
27 Keep in mind your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, not looking at the hard heart of this people, or their evil-doing and their sin:
27 Souviens-toi de tes serviteurs, Abraham, Isaac et Jacob. Ne regarde point à l'opiniâtreté de ce peuple, à sa méchanceté et à son péché,
27 Cuimhnigh ar do shearbhóntaí, ar Abrahám, ar Íosác, agus ar Iacób; ná tabhair aon aird ar cheanndáine an phobail seo, ar a gcoirpeacht ná ar a bpeaca,
27 Acuérdate de tus siervos Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob; no mires á la dureza de este pueblo, ni á su impiedad, ni á su pecado:
27 Gedenke an deine Knechte Abraham, Isaak und Jakob! Sieh nicht an die Härtigkeit und das gottlose Wesen und Sünde dieses Volks,
28 Or it may be said in the land from which you have taken them, Because the Lord was not able to take them into the land which he said he would give them, and because of his hate for them, he has taken them out to put them to death in the waste land.
28 de peur que le pays d'où tu nous as fait sortir ne dise: C'est parce que l'Éternel n'avait pas le pouvoir de les mener dans le pays qu'il leur avait promis, et c'est parce qu'il les haïssait, qu'il les a fait sortir pour les faire mourir dans le désert.
28 i dtreo nach mbeadh sé á rá sa tír ónar thug tú sinn: “Toisc nárbh fhéidir don Tiarna iad a thabhairt isteach sa tír a gheall sé dóibh, agus toisc go raibh an ghráin aige orthu a thug sé amach iad, le hiad a chur chun báis san fhásach.”
28 Porque no digan los de la tierra de donde nos sacaste: Por cuanto no pudo Jehová introducirlos en la tierra que les había dicho, ó porque los aborrecía, los sacó para matarlos en el desierto.
28 daß nicht das Land sage, daraus du uns geführt hast: Der HERR konnte sie nicht ins Land bringen, das er ihnen verheißen hatte, und hat sie darum ausgeführt, daß er ihnen gram war, daß er sie tötete in der Wüste!
29 But still they are your people and your heritage, whom you took out by your great power and by your stretched-out arm.
29 Ils sont pourtant ton peuple et ton héritage, que tu as fait sortir d'Égypte par ta grande puissance et par ton bras étendu.
29 Ach is iad do phobal iad, agus d'oidhreacht, a thug tú amach le do neart agus do chumas agus le do ghéag ar tinneall.’
29 Y ellos son tu pueblo y tu heredad, que sacaste con tu gran fortaleza y con tu brazo extendido.
29 Denn sie sind dein Volk und dein Erbteil, das du mit deinen großen Kräften und mit deinem ausgerecktem Arm hast ausgeführt.
